I see how much dye you use and you do a fine job. These dyes as you know are not cheap. I come across a Mom and pop business that makes there own dyes. They are Keda dye company. The guy was a chemical engineer and it shows. They are the best dyes I have ever used. They are my go to. Best thing is they are about half price of other dyes. You can get a five colour kit for 55 dollars. Each bottle makes about a half gallon. Of course mix only what you need. If the opportunity arises give them a shot. You will like them I promise. This sounds like a commercial but I have NO AFFILIATION WITH THE COMPANY. just like passing on a good product. Save you some cash for sure.
Hi Tom, thank you for your kind words. Also, thank you for the info. I'm always on the look out for good deals and great products. I will check them out for sure. Cheers my friend.
Btw they do have some videos on RUclips. I placed an order the other day and suggested to get better lighting for there videos. Plus the poor guy is very nervous when the camera is on. Well that's what he told me. Really good dyes and the owners are super nice. Like I said I have nothing to do with the company. Sure sounds like I do but I do not.
Seeing that bowl in the end, and realizing how stunning it really is, blew me away! Very well done. Fantastic job SP!

Gorgeous! Do you know approximate moisture content on the wood?
Rebecca Lace hi, it’s Kiln dried wood. It’s about 6% at the surface and about 8% internal. Hope that helps, thanks for watching.
