Nice effect. You have a ton of once turned bowls. You should think of selling those (maybe you do)? I could use a few.

Jaquard make a nice set for 20.00 they are called Pinata I believe and are really flexible in uses. The alcohol inks even work for epoxy tints. Appreciate your comments.
      Thanks

Great looking bowl! But you skipped over the part I most wanted to see! How you colored the bowl! :P

Alaric I appreciate what your saying. My video editing is a work in progress to say the least. Future videos should be more concise.
      Thanks Don.

This was a cool & mesmerizing video, but, yep, I agree with Alaric Medlock, I wanted to see more on coloring the wood~ Despite this, your bowl ended up very beautiful!

Beautiful bowl! What did you use to put the spiral indents in the bottom base of the bowl?

I used Robert Sorbey spiralling tool, smallest toothed-wheel at 1.5. Sorry for the slow response.

Did you seal the bowl before applying alcohol ink

      Hi Amanda.
I sealed the piece with a lacquer based sanding sealer. A. Inks are intended for non porous surfaces so on wood I usually seal with sanding sealer although you could use other sealers just not shellac as it is alcohol based. Hope this helps
