To be fair, there's lots of heavy metal music that's very positive in my opinion, like inspirational/motivating songs, songs about standing up to those oppressing you, fighting against evil, or defending your friends, etc.
Like the song Sisyphos was Wrong by Circus of Fools (one of my favourites). Here's part of the lyrics: "Run against prejudice Run against prejudgement Run against your inner demon Walk around that big black stone Defy the shackles, don′t give in Every step is a price to win Recoil is part of the shot Throwback was a lesson taught Even if you're never done It′s worth Run Forrest, run And he kept on running Never a goal in mind Taking on the challenge With a big fat smile While he had no goals The results were tremendous Crafting beauty out of the stones Obstructing his way Never bitter Never envious" Must admit: Circus of Fools can be subtle as a brick through a window sometimes, such as in the songs Watch Me, March of the Puppets and Distanced. (Respectively, they are about: - Online influencer and most likely porn industry and how influencers can become a corporate mouthpiece that are/can become vapid, shallow ad campaign E-celebrities that lure the youth, - People that congregate online that may be very and rudely stubborn in their beliefs forgo critical thinking, form mob mentalities, manipulative situations and echo chambers, or are simply trolls, - How we get lost in the digital world and place more importance on it than the immediate physical world, people and connections around us) but in both tone and message, Sisyphos was Wrong stands out to me. It took me a while to learn of the context behind the title too: At some point i learnt that there's a line of philosophy named after Sisyphos and the situation with his boulder. It goes that when Sisyphus realizes the absurdity of the situation he is in, being condemned to forever push a boulder up a hill that rolls back off again, he comes to the conclusion that there is no inherent value to... pretty much anything. Thusly, we are free to assign value to things in life to give it --and ourselves-- a purpose or something to care about. (I hope i remembered this philosophy well. I'm not a major or expert on this stuff, more an enthousiast) This song goes against that. As you read in the lyrics, it alludes and outright says that there already is value in the things that exist and the efforts we make to do good, and to keep the good existing. Through trial, tribulation and the good that happens to us, through people and through circumstance, may gain the strength of mind, spirit and body to overcome various obstacles and even add beauty onto them. Good and evil, fortune and misery and everything in-between and beyond will always exist, but we always carry the potential to persist too. There's also From Dusk Till Dawn, Rebel Clown Army (an older song) and Marching Among the Dead, which are respectively: - A kind of warning or call of vigilance to people that would profit off the pain of others, acting in the proverbial dark and trying to keep others in it to pull them to their cause. While simultaneously calling for empathy, compassion, willingness for understanding and openness to learning. For if we operate by "an eye for an eye" and react with violence alone, we will still not be at a better place. "Ignorance won't heal our world, nor is violence the key, there's no place after dark for this vampire esprit". - Being bold and confident in who you are and what you do - However horrible things may get, amidst turbulent times, there is always a light, a path out. We may find ourselves among environments and people that don't really "live" so much as just exist, try to survive, or we may look for things to distract ourselves from great pain and tragedy. There may be also people, if we know them yet or not, that will care about us and whom we can care about, people and groups and chances that can extend a hand to help with certain steps to a better state of life.
@@DGKdabigondarkpaws that would make sense, I mean I do have a German shepherd and lab mix and even tho he's only like 4 or 5 in dog's years, he grows up pretty fast and makes me surprised that he's still a puppy. 😅
I really love the little details, like how the characters' mouths move, the backgrounds and their colors, Lizzie's long vent at the end of the episode, the way her parents genuinely love and care about her, it's all awesome.
First off, it's nice to see animation thriving online while Hollywood continues to try an wipe it off the face of reality (TALKIN' TO YOU, ZASLAV!) Secondly, I really like the concept...animation could use some work, though but it's still a great pilot. Third, I never thought a nine year old would be a heavy metal fan. Though...I suppose nine might feel older in Werewolf Years compared to Human Years
I love this! The Animation style is even better than the last one! I’d love to see this be a Disney+ show or maybe a Nickelodeon cartoon. Keep Up The Good Work! (btw I am the kid that did one of the drawings in the first episode)
Yes I agree as a retired tween motion animator. As well as fbf. Use of different mouths and mouth shapes, great lip sync and your movements are natural on time..they flow... And it's nice to see the rugged shapley art style.. FLOW
The animation was awesome and I love your art style, I hope you continue to make episodes. Also the fact that one of the boxes Lizzie’s dad puts in the truck was frisbees is hilarious.
The most well-designed character so far is dad werewolf. His palette is nice and his design is simple, but effective. The animation, the character designs, the song writing, all very mid. The mom werewolf and main character in particular, are very visually upsetting. The way the colors of their palettes clash, and their markedly more human than dad wolf in particular are less than ideal, and I might even venture to say a tad overcomplicated from a design standpoint. But I do like the message, and I do like the premise. Definitely has potential. Just needs some fine-tuning.
I really liked this! I hope you someday continue this as it's mini series (maybe series even!) I love the designs and the musical aspect is really natural feeling.
i need more ... dont care if i have to wait years for it like hazbin i wanna know more on the wolfy! also i love the animation, voice acting, the way char act,! need more!
I like the concept, but to be honest the script and the songs need a LOT of work, it just doesn't hook me, even so there is potential in the project, I wish you the best of luck
Super awesome concept! I'm a sucker for werewolves and metal music. Even the musical numbers were pretty cute. The only thing I'm not sold on is the ages. All the students look more like 12-14 rather than 9.
Next time you make a musical hire actors who can sing and song writers who can write Everything besides the music had potential. But this is a musical so…needs work.

"Run against prejudice
Run against prejudgement
Run against your inner demon
Walk around that big black stone
Defy the shackles, don′t give in
Every step is a price to win
Recoil is part of the shot
Throwback was a lesson taught
Even if you're never done
It′s worth
Run Forrest, run
And he kept on running
Never a goal in mind
Taking on the challenge
With a big fat smile
While he had no goals
The results were tremendous
Crafting beauty out of the stones
Obstructing his way
Never bitter
Never envious"

Most heavy metal is positive, save for stuff like goregrind and brutal death metal and DSBM, but there's even songs in those that have good meanings.
Lizzie looks like a middle school student rather than a nine year old
Glad I wasnt the only one thinking that. Granted not entirely sure what a 9 year old look like now in current year.
Maybe werewolves age faster?
Yeah she does
I mean she is a werewolf so i feel as they would be bigger than the average human especially in they're wolf form

I like how the mummy's like Kenny from South Park, if you listen closely you can understand what they're grunting

Shut. Up.
Oh my gosh, this show is so ugly, it hurts to look at.
It might need some improvement but it’s not that bad.
