I did this today by accident, a very sharp speed bump showed up out of nowhere, I was airborne and knew I was fucked so why not try to get some balance, I saved my self out of a very awkward situation, none the less actually ended up looking cool.
I tried to bonk on some decent sized pebbles, the first one was good, the second rock I tried was pretty big and it rolled under me after I got air and landed on it and the board flopped sideways… was super fun lol
Honestly I've been struggling with this, every time I go over a bump I feel like I just roll over it. I'll be sure to keep this in mind on my next attempts! Thanks for the video ☺️

We're glad it was helpful! The fangs shouldn't make a difference unless you're trying to bonk really high bumps. Also, if the fangs happen to touch the bump during the bonk motion there should not really be any issues becuse the fangs will just continue to roll forward and won't stop your forward momentum. When it comes to FlightFins, they definitely lock your feet in so that you can carve harder and it feels more stable/secure.

We typically look slightly forward at the ground ahead. This way we can spot how close the bump is to time the bonk better. This also let's us spot the landing when in air.

Yes jump, because I bended my knees and pushed my front foot down like he said and got thrown off the board and almost injured my foot. Didn’t realize I was suppose to jump.
We grew up doing all types of board sports and have put a couple hundred miles on our onewheels each, so don't get discouraged. It just takes some time and a lot of practice 🤙 you can do it!
I did not notice much of a difference at all between the stock Vega and stock pint tire (my Vega had about 500 miles on it at the time so it was slightly rounded though)
Unfortunately sometime in the last year they discontinued selling that specific parking block. If we discover a better one we'll let you know. A large 2x4 would be the cheapest option

I know the feeling 😂 my driveway has an intense dip/bump that forced me pretty early on to figure out how to "not fall"

That can depend on the size of the bump,but for super small bumps you can roll up super slow and just do that "snap" right before you hit the bump

Absolutely! Unfortunately, on the day we recorded this I didn't have much time with the pint. 0:15 and 0:51 are two small examples
What confuses me is do you have to jump or not for the success? Because my OW never takes it off the ground regardless of the speed.

Hey Zach, does the tire pressure make a difference for bonking? Should it be fairly low and bouncy?
We've found that Lower tire pressure makes it harder to get pop/height because it absorbs more

There were two people on reddit saying the motor on the V1 makes it more difficult but I'm not sure. If I ever get to try a V1 I'll get back to you
