Jeep JT DIY Transfer case skidplate

When you can't find the skid you need you just run down to Industrial Metal Supply and grab a piece of 6061 aluminum that fits your measurements and create your own. I paired my transfercase skid up with the oil pan skid plate from ‪@ArtecIndustries‬ and also braced it with the factory fuel tank skid bracket. In a pervious project I added UHMW to the ‪@ArtecIndustries‬ oil pan skid I also added UHMW to my custom transfer case skid by countersinking the bolts. By doing this it helps to create a smoother sliding surface.
