I don't know which strings you used to tune it in E, but the sound is good! I wouldn't have thought it possible, but some guitars with laminated woods have a very nice sweet sound! I have a Yamaha CGS102A, it sounds great tuned in F with a Savarez Alliance Cantiga normal tension set...
