    I usually rinse my multipliers off under the tap. If they accidentally got dunked in the surf during my outing, they get briefly immersed in a bucket of fresh water and re-lubed after they are dry.

    Remember to lock the drag on both reels to avoid water getting into the drag washers. And after to loosen the drag so it does not stay under pressure.

    Thanks for the tips. I use bicarb and Luke warm water. Now that everything is clean can we go fishing and make it dirty again 😂
