Female clothing in this game is rare and really awful. As are the hairstyles and makeup options. The clothing designer needs to be fired. After Sarah died, I put her outfit on Andreja; as a male character, I also wore it for a bit. None of the other companions said anything; I was disappointed. Writers have no imagination or sense of humor.

I got to the point where Sarah finally stopped pushing me away, and I thought, "You knw what? I'm sick of you. After all this time of being pushed away, I really don't care, anymore." So I reloaded the save and went with the "friendship" option. At least I can look myself in the mirror.
Andreja sounds so loving throughout the game after you marry her. She calls you love and it sounds so genuine. On NG+, I can’t get Sarah to stop thinking about anything other than the mission.
For being a thief, she sure hates it when my character steals; she damn near got me killed at the Red Mile when I accidentally stole a cup off the bar when I meant to talk to the bartender. After that, she got pissy with me and I told her it was time to part ways, when we got back to Akila; she walked off the ship there, and I haven't seen her since. Maybe she found her way back to the Lodge; going to have to check, as that is my next stop. Make sure you visit Vladimir's place, you get a Kodoma with 52 damage, and good pistol that rivals the one you get from Delgado, I can't recall the name of it, but it's pirate related.
I had romanced both on my very first run. I married Andreja first and then proposed to Sarah. Andreja got angry but was easily pursuaded and we stayed married. But problem is that once you get the married flag with one character, the 2nd marriage quest won't trigger. I had the conversation with Sarah where she wanted Aja to do the ceremony and invite her parents. Then she asked for time to set things up but the quest never popped up. So while I'm getting 15% xp bonus from both of them; only Andreja has the "What do you think about our marriage" dialogue. Sarah is only a mistress I guess.
The Sarah quest does pop but it just took a while to pop up for me. it worried me for a bit as a waited 2 days as other people reccomended me to but it still took longer then that, but i can confirm i married both in my playthrough.
@@HakuAbba maybe my game is bugged then. Cause I had Sarah as my companion for the remainder of my game for about 30-40hrs. The quest didn't trigger. I got around 20-30 "Sarah Liked That" procs. I even checked her affinity with console command; it was over 1200 which is the cap as far as I know. But no marriage quest. I think it's just lazy coding. I'm pretty sure they have a way to check if you are married. Sometimes a 2nd marriage will bypass the weak coding and other times it won't. Just like every other aspect of the game. A mod can very easily allow to have multiple weddings without hitch. Maybe I'll give the game a try again in a year.

Although the game does not refer to either of them as "your wife". I watched a steamer who solely romanced Andreja and never flirted with anyone else. The game still referred to her as "your lover" and not "wife". That was kind of let down tbh. What was the point of marriage then?
Bethesda romances are so Half Baked, you can marry but you can't kiss your Wife, not even in the wedding ceremony, you can do nothing not even hug you own wife, if you have the Kid Stuff trait you can't invite your parents to your wedding, i really think if you are going to add something to the game, do it right or don't do it, there is no reason to romances in Starfield, they are so badly done that not having them just make no Difference, just change the 15% exp bonus to friendship when you max someone affinity and most people not even notice the romance was removed, that's how bad it is. Aside from that, nice video.
I totally agree with this. Sarah's wedding was so boring. No extra dialogue, no outfit or suit or dress. Shit theres not even a wedding ring like in fallout 4. You still have the same [flirt] lines, the same sleep bonus dialogue. It's basically just an ex bonus

The surprising thing that really killed me? You can't even hug your parents. Was about the time it was clear how unimpressive the whole Starfield experiment was. Still managing to squeeze some modicum of enjoyment from the game, but I'll be damned if I'm not happy I didn't pay full price for this shallow puddle.

@@Vtando I think romance,. Sarah likes to be married in secrecy so that means constellation member doesn't know that the main character and Sarah are married. That's what I've read somewhere when she died in Sam's hand. But then again, someone in the comment has said that there is a celebration with Andreja but Sarah does not trigger, meaning Sarah is the mistress. In this video, I've romanced Andreja and Sarah (committed at the same time, but must be Andreja first, then Sarah), and some other people experience the same. So I've tried it and made the video so more people will also know. I've committed to Sarah, then broke up with her right away, then romanced Andreja, then romanced Sarah again.
Hadrian should be a love interest in the game. She was hella cool and the vibe was better than Sarah. C'mon Bethesda... Open up the relationships in these games so they feel more natural, and let us mack to anyone that's a crew mate.
Something I find really weird about the dialogue in the french dub of the game is that she’ll still use “vous” aka the formal version of “you” to refer to you even after you marry her. It just seems really awkward, since by that point you’d 100% be using “tu”. It just seems super forced and like she doesn’t really care about you, lol.
English speaker here. The only reason I know anything about that French language aspect (?) is thanks to the Penguin Classics edition of "The Count of Monte Cristo." English does technically have it, but it is not at all in common usage.
This is why you have to divorce Sarah, then make peace with her, then romance Andreja, and remarry Sarah. I've done it like that. That's why, in this video, the marrying Sarah conversation is not exactly from the first conversation dialogue.

Spoilers follow: I married Sarah first and she wanted to keep the whole thing secret. Nobody acknowledged our marriage after she died. Sam Coe held her and sobbed as she died in his arms. I was cut out of the grieving process altogether. How we went from Skyrim's "marry any NPC in the game, adopt a kid and build a house together" to "pick one of these four and we're gonna kill 'em soon anyway but it's cool because they're all kind of the same and nobody will notice they were your spouse anyhow" is beyond me. Edit: Poor dead Sarah also still shows up as Unassigned in the crew menu, and the mission waypoint occasionally tries to send me back to the Lodge to talk to her. She ded tho.
Personally I find they both are homely, also Sarah is about 48 years old, and I picked a youngish character, I mean the dude has no skills so gotta be younger. Now the woman selling rocks and gems in the freestar city, Akila, is hot, as is the one selling weapons nearby. actually a number of NPC are more desirable than the the 'love interest' woman, like the bartender in the import problem quest.

You do not have to marry Sarah first. You romance Andreja first, then romance Sarah. In this video, I thought the commitment was the marriage, but it is still a long while after the romance before each crew will automatically trigger the actual marriage event. The starting method is the same, which is who to romance first, then eventually you will be able to marry them regardless. Hence, the video is shorter, only highlighting the important steps. If I have it triggered in my game, if I remember, I will make the followup video. Then rename this video to part 1.

I was married to Sarah but she went to stay on the eye.. after that Andreja have been traveling with me and after a while I had this, what seemed like, random freak out. I had no idea what was going or where this came from or what i did LOL, never even flirted with her.
Not sure if the convo has anything to do with romance with her. Basically, the trigger is when she is angry, which in this video, I offence her by marrying Sarah. She crystal clearly stated during the commitment that she does not share.
I am not that part yet, it will be a very long time. I only got my first power. Have not collected all the power yet. I do not rush the main game, probably 50 years later, honestly, I do not know. I know some people request it. It just this is my game, I want to enjoy it. Asking me this kind of question is not going anywhere. However, someone has done it or some people. At least one of them said, they both are there in the unity, so I'd go from there.

@winchesterarcade3097 Sort of, in-game Sarah prefer to be private if you follow the story. So none of the members know that they are together. So marry them individually, but they can be together both with you as your wife.
Andreja is by far the most interesting character, with the best back story, and isn't a self-absorbed piece of shit… she's also fun to go hunting bugs with… but damn if that religious shit doesn't sour things for me. It's too accurate, is the problem. Religious nutters are exactly like that.

I haven't gone to a new game yet, but I'm still too far from the main story. I only got my first power. I'm probably gonna be 50 years later, haha.. honestly, I don't know when. I want to enjoy the game as much as possible rather than rushing it. Since I know I will lose everything at the end. Also, I still need to romance Sam and Barret. So they game will take a random NPC. However, in terms of who really can not die.I know Sam and Barret must not die. So that leaves me with either Sarah or Andreja, who must die in the end. If Sam dies, the alternative new game plus will not be good, and if Barret dies, missing out on getting a power or something like that. Also, I don't think I can be so mean to Cora. I do not want Cora to hate me in my alternate new game. If I ever go to the new game plus. I just can't do it. So either Sarah or Andreja. Will see.

As I mentioned in your other comment. In my video when I play, I commit to Sarah, and breakup with her right away, when I find out that we can romance or marry Andreja and Sarah. So I made a video while I was trying it as well. Hence the video result.

They’re both insufferable. Sarah is so high and mighty and dislikes everything fun I do and just super clingy, and Andreja reminds me of my religious fanatic mother who randomly cries at times because “she won’t see her son in heaven” after I told her I believe in higher powers but am very agnostic and anti religious, which really annoys tf out of me. Is there at least an option where I can tell Andreja to forget about the Va’Runn afterlife because I’m starborn and will live 1000 lifetimes and she can become a starborn with me? If not, I might consider marrying Barrett on my next playthrough. At least he’s chill af 😂😂
Hahaha... Yeah, you should. I am in the middle trying with Sam, I wonder what happened afterwards, and I want to go with Barret as well. But I take it very, very slow. I don't rush it. I want to enjoy the game. There are a lot to do if we just ignore the main quest. Most people just rush the main quest. It feels pretty good to ignore the main quest and do whatever the sandbox has to offer. Such as shipbuilding, trying a different build, and flying them over and having a combat battle. Also, outpost is another mini game on itself, which takes even more time consuming than shipbuilding.

@@moonstar-bp3kn I am testing, the sleeping order experiment. I am not gonna sleep with a male of course, since my character is a male. So that's why Rosie is the only alternative female available, besides Andreja and Sarah. So I pick her, to see if I am still can sleep with at least one of the wives, and in which order, based on the last follower wife, and sleep again if the order random or just stick to the same NPC wife without changing. That's why the last part I slept twice to check, it turns out it's still with Andreja.

Yeah, I've realised that too late, I was watching other RUclipsrs and this conclusion is to act as getting married. Hence, I want to make a second part and rename this the first part. Also, some people have requested. I will probably do it, I don't want to rush things. I want to enjoy the game, so when I am ready, I'll do it, just not sure when.

You can outfit any companion. Trade items, then when on their inventory select to "equip" whatever you've given them, including a weapon. Make sure to give them 1 ammo of whatever weapon you gave them and they will forever have infinite ammo too.
That's two good women in the original game is nice. What if a new DLC is coming? It will be new the clan is more powerful than the Crimson fleet. But not evil so much or not. Like Fallout DLCs player went to join any raider. If a new companion woman is a bad woman and badass. She likes when steal stuff and money. Epic battleships in the space. She dislikes it if a player working with UC or Freestar missions. But the bounty or civilian missions are okay. She likes "Credit is credit" or "I'm not sure if the reward is better?" she doesn't care if a player kills someone or bad guys. She was like "I can't remember that guys are crimson or not.". The player can romance her. If the Player tells her when he will go to another universe. She will say "Maybe you can meet me if she is the same as me? I bet you will love her again. Heh. But do not forget you need to make a better mission than before our mission."
I 1st married Sarah but she became very annoying when she became a Simp,so after i deleted that play through (not because of Sarah but because i didn't like my background & trait choices) i have focused on Andreja who i've recently just got to the romance stage. I very much regret marrying Sarah. It's so cringy for me, I just can't do it. Should have left it friendly just like I do in other games. IRL, it's the same.... Andreja is just a copy past Iron Bull quest with Qunari Dragon Age Inquisition. Var"unn = Qun' ( same ideology very close ), Andreja is a not interesting character I prefer 1000 X Sarah and her personal quest ( her romance too )
I agree. I loved Sarah personality and her very gentle voice. It's more attractive and calming. However, what most people can't stand is her nagging. Other than that, she is perfect, kinda.
Sarah kept bugging me about marrying her which put me right off. This game is stupid with the marriage thing. Especially when you just said a few words to her and just met. Also the gay thing, where barret and sam cole keep hitting on you when you clearly are not interested, is really shit as well. I progressed both the options on 3 different play throughs…on my last one for other reasons the relationship with Andreja didn’t progress . My first attempt with Sarah did turn “ romantic “ but they both drove me mad with incessant snowflake personality…I put up with andreja’s deep rooted insecurities and her incessant babbling for what seemed like weeks…There were times I could have thrown her out into the void…yet when I accidentally shot a UC ship and the whole fleet was after my ass, she threw the biggest tantrum ever and threatened to leave the next time we were in settled space. I got so pissed with her, I assigned her to a very unfriendly outpost..aptly named it Siberia 😊. Sarah is actually more aggressive companion, until romanced , then she’s just OTT sickly sweet, she ended up on a different outpost. It turns out the guy companions are LGTBQ friendly, and if that’s your bag then fair enough, but I suspect will only attract a small % Of the player base …it’s so obvious that Bethesda have gone the politically correct way…so not to offend..I’ve loved playing starfield, on my 4th play through and still finding new missions, new experiences and new mods appear every day on the nexus. …nice video Mr Gravity
We women are playing this game too. But since men in this game are unattractive and gays I married Sarah. She has nice eyes and voice and I like the sweetnes after she played hard to get quite some time.
Get married? Are you all friggen crazy? Every one of those Constellation characters have emotional problems; and for me, Sarah got killed on the Eye, when the Starborn attacked it. I personally, can't stand any of them, and don't take them with me unless I have no choice; at one point I had to take Coe with me, and I wasn't even able to have him wait in place. Character writers are real dumb and should be fired, and maybe don't hire woke idiots to work on games.
This is exactly the reason why I chose the robot. He was the only one that didnt give a shit if i went on a rampage in a capital city and the only one that didnt bore me to tears. Even listening to these characters talk for a minute has me zoning out to another galaxy.....

Bethesda romances are so Half Baked, you can marry but you can't kiss your Wife, not even in the wedding ceremony, you can do nothing not even hug you own wife, if you have the Kid Stuff trait you can't invite your parents to your wedding, i really think if you are going to add something to the game, do it right or don't do it, there is no reason to romances in Starfield, they are so badly done that not having them just make no Difference, just change the 15% exp bonus to friendship when you max someone affinity and most people not even notice the romance was removed, that's how bad it is. Aside from that, nice video.

The surprising thing that really killed me? You can't even hug your parents. Was about the time it was clear how unimpressive the whole Starfield experiment was. Still managing to squeeze some modicum of enjoyment from the game, but I'll be damned if I'm not happy I didn't pay full price for this shallow puddle.

That's what I've read somewhere when she died in Sam's hand. But then again, someone in the comment has said that there is a celebration with Andreja but Sarah does not trigger, meaning Sarah is the mistress.
In this video, I've romanced Andreja and Sarah (committed at the same time, but must be Andreja first, then Sarah), and some other people experience the same. So I've tried it and made the video so more people will also know. I've committed to Sarah, then broke up with her right away, then romanced Andreja, then romanced Sarah again.

Something I find really weird about the dialogue in the french dub of the game is that she’ll still use “vous” aka the formal version of “you” to refer to you even after you marry her. It just seems really awkward, since by that point you’d 100% be using “tu”. It just seems super forced and like she doesn’t really care about you, lol.
English speaker here. The only reason I know anything about that French language aspect (?) is thanks to the Penguin Classics edition of "The Count of Monte Cristo." English does technically have it, but it is not at all in common usage.

I married Sarah first and she wanted to keep the whole thing secret. Nobody acknowledged our marriage after she died. Sam Coe held her and sobbed as she died in his arms. I was cut out of the grieving process altogether.
How we went from Skyrim's "marry any NPC in the game, adopt a kid and build a house together" to "pick one of these four and we're gonna kill 'em soon anyway but it's cool because they're all kind of the same and nobody will notice they were your spouse anyhow" is beyond me.
Edit: Poor dead Sarah also still shows up as Unassigned in the crew menu, and the mission waypoint occasionally tries to send me back to the Lodge to talk to her. She ded tho.

Personally I find they both are homely, also Sarah is about 48 years old, and I picked a youngish character, I mean the dude has no skills so gotta be younger. Now the woman selling rocks and gems in the freestar city, Akila, is hot, as is the one selling weapons nearby. actually a number of NPC are more desirable than the the 'love interest' woman, like the bartender in the import problem quest.
I actually found lieutenant Toft very appealing. It'd be a lot of fun loosening up that hair bun.

You do not have to marry Sarah first. You romance Andreja first, then romance Sarah. In this video, I thought the commitment was the marriage, but it is still a long while after the romance before each crew will automatically trigger the actual marriage event. The starting method is the same, which is who to romance first, then eventually you will be able to marry them regardless. Hence, the video is shorter, only highlighting the important steps. If I have it triggered in my game, if I remember, I will make the followup video. Then rename this video to part 1.

At least one of them said, they both are there in the unity, so I'd go from there.

@winchesterarcade3097 Sort of, in-game Sarah prefer to be private if you follow the story. So none of the members know that they are together. So marry them individually, but they can be together both with you as your wife.
Andreja is by far the most interesting character, with the best back story, and isn't a self-absorbed piece of shit… she's also fun to go hunting bugs with… but damn if that religious shit doesn't sour things for me. It's too accurate, is the problem. Religious nutters are exactly like that.

I haven't gone to a new game yet, but I'm still too far from the main story. I only got my first power. I'm probably gonna be 50 years later, haha.. honestly, I don't know when. I want to enjoy the game as much as possible rather than rushing it. Since I know I will lose everything at the end. Also, I still need to romance Sam and Barret. So they game will take a random NPC. However, in terms of who really can not die.I know Sam and Barret must not die. So that leaves me with either Sarah or Andreja, who must die in the end. If Sam dies, the alternative new game plus will not be good, and if Barret dies, missing out on getting a power or something like that. Also, I don't think I can be so mean to Cora. I do not want Cora to hate me in my alternate new game. If I ever go to the new game plus. I just can't do it. So either Sarah or Andreja. Will see.

Hahaha... Yeah, you should. I am in the middle trying with Sam, I wonder what happened afterwards, and I want to go with Barret as well. But I take it very, very slow. I don't rush it. I want to enjoy the game. There are a lot to do if we just ignore the main quest. Most people just rush the main quest. It feels pretty good to ignore the main quest and do whatever the sandbox has to offer. Such as shipbuilding, trying a different build, and flying them over and having a combat battle. Also, outpost is another mini game on itself, which takes even more time consuming than shipbuilding.

So that's why Rosie is the only alternative female available, besides Andreja and Sarah. So I pick her, to see if I am still can sleep with at least one of the wives, and in which order, based on the last follower wife, and sleep again if the order random or just stick to the same NPC wife without changing. That's why the last part I slept twice to check, it turns out it's still with Andreja.

You can outfit any companion. Trade items, then when on their inventory select to "equip" whatever you've given them, including a weapon. Make sure to give them 1 ammo of whatever weapon you gave them and they will forever have infinite ammo too.

That's two good women in the original game is nice. What if a new DLC is coming? It will be new the clan is more powerful than the Crimson fleet. But not evil so much or not. Like Fallout DLCs player went to join any raider. If a new companion woman is a bad woman and badass. She likes when steal stuff and money. Epic battleships in the space. She dislikes it if a player working with UC or Freestar missions. But the bounty or civilian missions are okay. She likes "Credit is credit" or "I'm not sure if the reward is better?" she doesn't care if a player kills someone or bad guys. She was like "I can't remember that guys are crimson or not.". The player can romance her. If the Player tells her when he will go to another universe. She will say "Maybe you can meet me if she is the same as me? I bet you will love her again. Heh. But do not forget you need to make a better mission than before our mission."

I progressed both the options on 3 different play throughs…on my last one for other reasons the relationship with Andreja didn’t progress . My first attempt with Sarah did turn “ romantic “ but they both drove me mad with incessant snowflake personality…I put up with andreja’s deep rooted insecurities and her incessant babbling for what seemed like weeks…There were times I could have thrown her out into the void…yet when I accidentally shot a UC ship and the whole fleet was after my ass, she threw the biggest tantrum ever and threatened to leave the next time we were in settled space. I got so pissed with her, I assigned her to a very unfriendly outpost..aptly named it Siberia 😊. Sarah is actually more aggressive companion, until romanced , then she’s just OTT sickly sweet, she ended up on a different outpost. It turns out the guy companions are LGTBQ friendly, and if that’s your bag then fair enough, but I suspect will only attract a small % Of the player base …it’s so obvious that Bethesda have gone the politically correct way…so not to offend..I’ve loved playing starfield, on my 4th play through and still finding new missions, new experiences and new mods appear every day on the nexus. …nice video Mr Gravity

Get married? Are you all friggen crazy? Every one of those Constellation characters have emotional problems; and for me, Sarah got killed on the Eye, when the Starborn attacked it. I personally, can't stand any of them, and don't take them with me unless I have no choice; at one point I had to take Coe with me, and I wasn't even able to have him wait in place. Character writers are real dumb and should be fired, and maybe don't hire woke idiots to work on games.
This is exactly the reason why I chose the robot. He was the only one that didnt give a shit if i went on a rampage in a capital city and the only one that didnt bore me to tears.
