Pick the very top dialogue choice. Then don't use the flirt option until after the third time it's available. This works with every companion. Tutorial over you're welcome
Everything you said is correct except for the fact that, I joked with her every time, even during serious topics (the only exception to this is jokes about her religion, which she disliked) and I was still able to romance her. It was actually well written, at first she barely laughed at my jokes, but than, the more I joked, the more openly and heartily her laughter became… it was like she learned to laugh at things with me.
For all the people who are concerned that she or Sarah will get outraged at your choices when you exit the ship just go talk to them and tell them to wait there for a moment and go do your dirt that’s what I did with the drug storyline in neon city
Also the VA for Hawthorne plays Lin, and I caught the drifter VA in there too as a random guy in a bar but it appears he wasn't credited that I can find online. I love all the crossovers in voice actors here
There's a UC Sysdef/Crimson Fleet mission on SY920, and if you can bring her with you, some checkpoint guard before verifying your ID asks if you are two together, and she awkwardly replies: "Yes... We are... together." Also hates New Atlantis's NAT for being too crowded, and New Atlantis for many unfamiliar faces lol
I don't understand why they haven't included an affinity bar for companions. Its infuriating not knowing how high/low they are and what things are affecting them. Like i haven't done much of the main quest, ive been doing side stuff, so i really only have Sarah and Vasco but occasionally Sarah will get pissed that ive stole something and I'm worried it takes her affinity down. Or does it only count when a "X liked/hates that" or whatever message shows up? Some of the obvious missing QoL things really are strange that they aren't there. Bethesda have made enough of these games to know that things like telling you how many of an item you already have in your inventory/cargo before you buy more in a store should be included. You can't compare a companions armour to another set either, if you try it compares to the set you're wearing rather than theirs. Moving all the stuff in your ship to the cargo hold when ever you make any changes to its build is infuriating too. All my weapons i have in the ships armoury, all the saved food and healing items in the kitchen, hell even every plate, cup, book etc randomly lying around ends up in the cargo hold. I only upgraded my ship weapons, or changed the engine! Despite all this ive put over a hundred hours in, still haven't finished the "Old Neighborhood" quest and I'm loving every minute of it. Really wish they'd improve the inventory management though, fix some UI stuff and just generally make things not as clunky. Like having food and meds be separate sections, have a "add to loot" button for stuff you plan to sell and ffs LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH OF A RESOURCE I HAVE IN STORAGE WHILE SHOPPING!😂😂😂
No spoilers, but you do not have to kill at that critical moment late in the affinity process. You are absolutely correct that Andreja requires accountability and justice, but there's an option in there that accomplishes that without killing.

You attempt to rob him, and when he flees you murder him, then you laugh as you liken his now lifeless body to a deflated balloon... And you're wondering why she doesn't want to be around you anymore...

I’ve never done anything Andreja disliked and I finally got the mission divided loyalties after so many conversations with her I thought I messed it up I did so much of the story and everything I did the entire ryujin storyline with Sarah before I even resumed the main story past first mission which is a bummer but this game has ng+ I think so I won’t be making that mistake again
As someone who has been traveling with her my entire time playing Literally entire time they made her a very interesting individual she has a lot of conflicting interest that she’s trying to pay respects to it was a great character build

Yeah, in my first play through and I've kept her as my companion since I found her. Luckily my basic gaming style matches her attitude so we've gotten along fine so far.
I honestly dislike Sarah's entire story. She's not a terrible companion, but her romance is a sprint to the finish line. It's over fast, and her backstory isn't nearly as compelling.
I had to choose between her or Sarah, me and Sarah was getting really close but once I saw Andreja giving me some play it was it. We’re engaged now 😂also, I didn’t kill the person and I still went to the lodge and I got the relationship option and I took it.

To speed up Companion affinity, get the "Empath" trait at character creation and also focus on the "Leadership" perk. First level increases Companion affinity by like 15% or so.
This right here is actually the best advice you can get, it's all but impossible to fuck up romancing companions in SF short of mass murder, it's all just down to how fast they give you their "I love you now" mission. This and take paramor before evert conversation.

@@jackflash6377 I romanced Andreja in my first playthrough after Sarah friend zoned me (not realising that was part of her romance plot, and then she died anyway), and Sarah in NG+1. Like I said, I haven't even bothered with a companion since then, they're just a nuisance and provide literally no benefit.

You can also use the booster in the aids section called "paramour" every time you do a conversation event where your companion either likes or dislikes your conversation choices. Paramour boosts companion affinity for 10 minutes. Stock up on it.
She is actually adorable. I hear people call SF characters bland and boring, but I found her really interesting and complex. She ticks a bit more boxes... I'd actually date her IRL, she kinda feels like she's as broken inside as I am.
I wifed up Andrea, Sarah, and Lin in my 1st play through. Just make sure you have Language skill maxed out so you can smooth talk them when they get upset. They say something like have you lost your mind 😂🤣. You apologize and end up with three wives in one play through 😂👍
Space Gal Gadot. I felt like I had done a really good job romancing her and then on like the 50th ship I pirated she suddenly was outraged that we would "harm innocents", refused to follow me and announced she was leaving the ship... women! I was a pirate from the moment I met that girl. 3 months in and she suddenly notices.
Just do the 24 hours of rest and then go talk to her it will be fine but yeah when she’s your companion you can steal stuff in a empty room and like you can kill all the dinosaurs on it you just gotta watch what they call innocent people I guess the certain ships and shit
I wanted to say this for those that might be clicking on this video in the future. You do not have to kill someone!! All I will say is there is a way for passive judgement to be given, and that still works. So there is a passive way for justice to be given for others who wanna avoid death like myself. But, if you like the idea of killing the person, go for it. 😊
Best companion period. Spoiler warning for those who haven't passed the halfway point for Constellation, the companion with the greatest affinity will always be the one you lose if you defend the lodge, if you go to the eye, you can save them. So, if you push the romance option early with Andreja and you want to stay with her for the rest of the gameplay, go to the eye. Fortunately for me I was married to Sarah, I didn't know it but I chose to defend the Lodge and then found out she was killed. Now I am a few steps from getting married to Andreja and honestly IMO she is the best companion from Constellation. Sarah, Barrett and Sam are all pretty annoying in their own ways.
In my opinion the best companions are the adoring fan and Vasco, you can do anything you want while they’re with you and they don’t get mad at you. I spent all this time romancing Andrej, married her, then got a stupid bounty for someone SHE shot to protect me in a stealth mission (after she shot someone the whole mission went downhill and I had to shoot my way out also). She then got mad at me and left me, it was comical really. That girl has some SERIOUS baggage 😂. I’m done with these high maintenance companions, makes the game feel so limited to me.
For me during that quest I chose to not save the companion bc I wanted to make sure the people at the lodge were protected but I guess Sam was my highest affinity bc he was the one that died Cora was mad i didn’t blame her it was a sad portion of the game overall I didn’t mind Sam as a character and I knew I was switching to andreja once I got to her intro mission so I wasn’t too bummed but it was still sad to see Sam go
@@MeatsieI didn’t run into that with andreja she never seemed to mind when the time came to armed diplomacy I even went through the entire crimson fleet quest line with her and while the ikande guy got mad when i had no other option but to shoot or die in the game but she never did
"Best companion" really depends on your play style. Vasco is perfect all around because he doesn't have affinity and doesn't care what you do. Barret doesn't mind you stealing or "borrowing". Sara, & Sam are goody two-shoes and annoying af. Hmm. I don’t know if the Al’s test update changed anything for her but you can talk her into reporting her informant to the council and not kill him. This way she still has her ties to communicate but she will still marry you. I do want to add thanks for the video. It answered a lot of the other things I came to the video for.
She is definitely one tough act to follow.. what I'm excited about, and this is just speculation and rumors.. shattered space should be out this fall.. with no specific release date. I think she's going to play an important role, or at least give some kind of insight to the nature of House Va'Ruun.. I've played very little of this game because I don't really have access to it.. but I've been watching at least a metric ton of videos.. I've seen this game from start to finish, I have to say she is one of my favorite characters.. because she is just so mysterious, we don't know much about her background end of what little she says, and it takes a lot of trust to build with her to get her to open up about House Va'ruun. But I think there's going to be a lot of benefits to those who romance Andreja. Especially with shattered space coming out, I could be wrong so don't quote me. But I think she's going to be a big benefit and give you a lot of perspective. Tell me what you guys think.
I was wooing Sarah and exploring the galaxy doing side content, but once I continued the story a bit and met Andreja I dumped Sarah and went on to marry Andreja instead.

When you do it at the right time she'll actually mention that its in her nature to avoid getting close and push people away becuase her past made her believe every close thing she gets fall apart. Thats why if you flirt before that time, it will fail...the game will give you an obvious time and place to finally romance her but until that point, dont bother flirting.

I told her she had too much to lose and she was fine with it and still married me. I did 1 tap him in the head after though coz he was a dick and she didn't even notice
awesome, she seems to be bugged in my game. which is on of many i had: i did a talk, said something the liked, affinity got higher, iam out of the conversation, she says "i would like to talk to you, if you have time, im reminded of how different our work at constellation is compared to what iam used to" if i then try to talk to her, she says "this is harder then i expect" followed by "iam sorry, my head is swimming" both outside a conversation animation and then she just reapets "my head is swimming" over and over everytime i press e on her.
I have 2 of the constellation members who's romantic interest is maxed with me & I can start a relationship at anytime 😂 I'm working on this gal next 👍🏾

4 followers/companions feels lazy, and the two girls are good people, I can't kill people without Sarah or Andreja judging me, I want a crazy chick like the one from Fallout 4.
I just ran through that whole sequence with Sarah as my wifey. In the end I fought against the crimson fleet and Sarah was happy to be there the whole time, even the being under cover part. I was genuinely surprised, companions have a lot more depth than I ever expected
but you can still come back from that i think, i’ve been making amends with andreja after that only doing things she liked, kinda set me on a straight path
yeah that was nice, general, and spoiler free... i thought 6 minutes would be too short of a video and i was right. more SPECIFIC problems and solutions and examples would be much more helpful. although, it is a good overview of the character and how to make the 'good' choices yourself while romancing her.
I can't get passed the last part to marry her. I did everything right and the mission to go actually get married hasn't shown up. I've done many quests since she agreed and still nothing.....
I’ll be vague in order to not spoil anything but the person you “have to kill” mentioned in the video is false, you can easily not kill said person and it doesn’t negatively effect your relationship. Also if you took serpents embrace trait during character creation, use it every time in conversation with and around andreja, she has always liked or loved those options in my play through.
Andreja is awesome and was my initial pick anyway. Sarah's just ugly and was already complaining too much about everything. She liked or loved pretty much everything I did throughout my whole playthrough, except when I joined the Crimson Fleet, which I only did to spite the UC Security guy that rudely demanded I go undercover for him. Morally, she's pretty spot-on to how I play these games so she fit right in and I never used anybody else once she became an option.
Sarah are almost impossible to romance. I always play with a soldier background and she have a simular background. Romancing are not a must, it just sounds like fun. I only got lucky with Sarah once.
If you ask her to leave you like her following you does is the love option gone I wanna join the crimson fleet but I dont want her to judge my character and ruin anything so I thought of letting stay at my outpost while I do it
You'll be fine joining the Crimson Fleet with her as your companion. I did that entire quest line with her, when it started she said something like "I don't really approve of this, but I trust you have your reasons...". And then when I finished the last mission and sided with Crimson Fleet she got mad, I apologized about it and she was like "well at least you know you were wrong!" and that was it. She still married me right after that.
Can you get affinity with a companion even if you don't bring them with you on missions? Not sure if this would be enough as with my current character I play solo stealth.
Possibly. Every time you do a major main mission every character that can follow you will want to talk about it. I never take Barret around but he always wants to talk. I've got Barret, Sam, Sarah, and Andreja as crew on my ship.
Andrea sounds like my REAL wife personality wise...kind, validating, honest, uplifting...doesnt like to be pandered to..of course everything eles...be comforting and not dismissive...and very spiritual...yet complex.

ROMANCE SETUP IS MESSED UP!! I had Sarah Morgan with me since the beginning, and I did alot of stuff that she did not like and she even told me she will be glad to be done with me when the mission is over! But i always flirted with her when i had the option. After I completed her personal side mission she married me and stuck around hating the choices I kept making and being vocal about it lol

Yeah, I got her as a companion, I play as a sniper and sneak around, she gets headshotted often cause she often crosses the crosshairs while I'm aiming. And it's fun giving her a grenade, although most often, the grenade explodes near us. Ended up as best friends, wonder if I divorce sarah... hehehe
She’s gotten annoying for me, I’m always walking on eggshells. If I do one thing wrong she gets pissed and no longer follows so I have to reload a previous save. Most of the time I have no clue what I did. The whole undercover for crimson stuff really gets their algorithms in a tizzy.
She just goes back to the ship f you are off world. Sleep for an hour and then talk to her and ( fix the fact that you just killed folks ) then after that click on her again then select follow
every tim i try do last guest to get married the quest dies it pop with no info i tried find the system or planet and cant find the name in any of the systems err quest glitches every time for me ques im just stuck to never finish it lol

I honestly dislike Sarah's entire story. She's not a terrible companion, but her romance is a sprint to the finish line. It's over fast, and her backstory isn't nearly as compelling.
I had to choose between her or Sarah, me and Sarah was getting really close but once I saw Andreja giving me some play it was it. We’re engaged now 😂also, I didn’t kill the person and I still went to the lodge and I got the relationship option and I took it.

Kind of hard to not be spoiled on her origins when she discusses it with Sarah if she's with you while doing that mission where you mert Andreja.
To speed up Companion affinity, get the "Empath" trait at character creation and also focus on the "Leadership" perk. First level increases Companion affinity by like 15% or so.
This right here is actually the best advice you can get, it's all but impossible to fuck up romancing companions in SF short of mass murder, it's all just down to how fast they give you their "I love you now" mission. This and take paramor before evert conversation.
@@ArmitageShanksMC Romancing was pretty novel the first time through but now, my second time. Not even going go mess with it. Just do what I want, if they run off and pout, so be it. Actually they just get in the way of the story if you ask me.
@@jackflash6377 I romanced Andreja in my first playthrough after Sarah friend zoned me (not realising that was part of her romance plot, and then she died anyway), and Sarah in NG+1. Like I said, I haven't even bothered with a companion since then, they're just a nuisance and provide literally no benefit.

You can also use the booster in the aids section called "paramour" every time you do a conversation event where your companion either likes or dislikes your conversation choices.
Paramour boosts companion affinity for 10 minutes. Stock up on it.

I wifed up Andrea, Sarah, and Lin in my 1st play through. Just make sure you have Language skill maxed out so you can smooth talk them when they get upset. They say something like have you lost your mind 😂🤣. You apologize and end up with three wives in one play through 😂👍

I was a pirate from the moment I met that girl. 3 months in and she suddenly notices.
Just do the 24 hours of rest and then go talk to her it will be fine but yeah when she’s your companion you can steal stuff in a empty room and like you can kill all the dinosaurs on it you just gotta watch what they call innocent people I guess the certain ships and shit

You do not have to kill someone!! All I will say is there is a way for passive judgement to be given, and that still works. So there is a passive way for justice to be given for others who wanna avoid death like myself. But, if you like the idea of killing the person, go for it. 😊

Best companion period. Spoiler warning for those who haven't passed the halfway point for Constellation, the companion with the greatest affinity will always be the one you lose if you defend the lodge, if you go to the eye, you can save them. So, if you push the romance option early with Andreja and you want to stay with her for the rest of the gameplay, go to the eye. Fortunately for me I was married to Sarah, I didn't know it but I chose to defend the Lodge and then found out she was killed. Now I am a few steps from getting married to Andreja and honestly IMO she is the best companion from Constellation. Sarah, Barrett and Sam are all pretty annoying in their own ways.
In my opinion the best companions are the adoring fan and Vasco, you can do anything you want while they’re with you and they don’t get mad at you. I spent all this time romancing Andrej, married her, then got a stupid bounty for someone SHE shot to protect me in a stealth mission (after she shot someone the whole mission went downhill and I had to shoot my way out also). She then got mad at me and left me, it was comical really. That girl has some SERIOUS baggage 😂. I’m done with these high maintenance companions, makes the game feel so limited to me.
For me during that quest I chose to not save the companion bc I wanted to make sure the people at the lodge were protected but I guess Sam was my highest affinity bc he was the one that died Cora was mad i didn’t blame her it was a sad portion of the game overall I didn’t mind Sam as a character and I knew I was switching to andreja once I got to her intro mission so I wasn’t too bummed but it was still sad to see Sam go
@@MeatsieI didn’t run into that with andreja she never seemed to mind when the time came to armed diplomacy I even went through the entire crimson fleet quest line with her and while the ikande guy got mad when i had no other option but to shoot or die in the game but she never did
"Best companion" really depends on your play style. Vasco is perfect all around because he doesn't have affinity and doesn't care what you do. Barret doesn't mind you stealing or "borrowing". Sara, & Sam are goody two-shoes and annoying af. Andreja is a walking contradiction, but still always my go to.

That is good to know, for some reason, I always lose Sam, 4th unity, and every time it's Sam. I never take him anywhere, he's not a member of my crew so I don't know why the affinity is so high with him.

Hmm. I don’t know if the Al’s test update changed anything for her but you can talk her into reporting her informant to the council and not kill him. This way she still has her ties to communicate but she will still marry you. I do want to add thanks for the video. It answered a lot of the other things I came to the video for.

She is definitely one tough act to follow.. what I'm excited about, and this is just speculation and rumors.. shattered space should be out this fall.. with no specific release date. I think she's going to play an important role, or at least give some kind of insight to the nature of House Va'Ruun.. I've played very little of this game because I don't really have access to it.. but I've been watching at least a metric ton of videos.. I've seen this game from start to finish, I have to say she is one of my favorite characters.. because she is just so mysterious, we don't know much about her background end of what little she says, and it takes a lot of trust to build with her to get her to open up about House Va'ruun. But I think there's going to be a lot of benefits to those who romance Andreja. Especially with shattered space coming out, I could be wrong so don't quote me. But I think she's going to be a big benefit and give you a lot of perspective. Tell me what you guys think.

When you do it at the right time she'll actually mention that its in her nature to avoid getting close and push people away becuase her past made her believe every close thing she gets fall apart. Thats why if you flirt before that time, it will fail...the game will give you an obvious time and place to finally romance her but until that point, dont bother flirting.

awesome, she seems to be bugged in my game. which is on of many i had: i did a talk, said something the liked, affinity got higher, iam out of the conversation, she says "i would like to talk to you, if you have time, im reminded of how different our work at constellation is compared to what iam used to" if i then try to talk to her, she says "this is harder then i expect" followed by "iam sorry, my head is swimming" both outside a conversation animation and then she just reapets "my head is swimming" over and over everytime i press e on her.

I just ran through that whole sequence with Sarah as my wifey. In the end I fought against the crimson fleet and Sarah was happy to be there the whole time, even the being under cover part. I was genuinely surprised, companions have a lot more depth than I ever expected
at the end of the quest line if you side with crimson fleet everyone has something to say about it and will pretty much hate you for it
but you can still come back from that i think, i’ve been making amends with andreja after that only doing things she liked, kinda set me on a straight path
yeah that was nice, general, and spoiler free... i thought 6 minutes would be too short of a video and i was right. more SPECIFIC problems and solutions and examples would be much more helpful. although, it is a good overview of the character and how to make the 'good' choices yourself while romancing her.
I can't get passed the last part to marry her. I did everything right and the mission to go actually get married hasn't shown up. I've done many quests since she agreed and still nothing.....
I’ll be vague in order to not spoil anything but the person you “have to kill” mentioned in the video is false, you can easily not kill said person and it doesn’t negatively effect your relationship.
Also if you took serpents embrace trait during character creation, use it every time in conversation with and around andreja, she has always liked or loved those options in my play through.

Andreja is awesome and was my initial pick anyway. Sarah's just ugly and was already complaining too much about everything.
She liked or loved pretty much everything I did throughout my whole playthrough, except when I joined the Crimson Fleet, which I only did to spite the UC Security guy that rudely demanded I go undercover for him. Morally, she's pretty spot-on to how I play these games so she fit right in and I never used anybody else once she became an option.
Sarah are almost impossible to romance. I always play with a soldier background and she have a simular background. Romancing are not a must, it just sounds like fun. I only got lucky with Sarah once.

You'll be fine joining the Crimson Fleet with her as your companion. I did that entire quest line with her, when it started she said something like "I don't really approve of this, but I trust you have your reasons...". And then when I finished the last mission and sided with Crimson Fleet she got mad, I apologized about it and she was like "well at least you know you were wrong!" and that was it. She still married me right after that.
She's perfect for bounty hunter characters, it seems.

Can you get affinity with a companion even if you don't bring them with you on missions? Not sure if this would be enough as with my current character I play solo stealth.
Possibly. Every time you do a major main mission every character that can follow you will want to talk about it. I never take Barret around but he always wants to talk. I've got Barret, Sam, Sarah, and Andreja as crew on my ship.
From what I've seen if they're not in the same vicinity as you and can't hear the conversation that you're having no it doesn't count

Andrea sounds like my REAL wife personality wise...kind, validating, honest, uplifting...doesnt like to be pandered to..of course everything eles...be comforting and not dismissive...and very spiritual...yet complex.

ROMANCE SETUP IS MESSED UP!! I had Sarah Morgan with me since the beginning, and I did alot of stuff that she did not like and she even told me she will be glad to be done with me when the mission is over! But i always flirted with her when i had the option. After I completed her personal side mission she married me and stuck around hating the choices I kept making and being vocal about it lol

Yeah, I got her as a companion, I play as a sniper and sneak around, she gets headshotted often cause she often crosses the crosshairs while I'm aiming. And it's fun giving her a grenade, although most often, the grenade explodes near us. Ended up as best friends, wonder if I divorce sarah... hehehe
She’s gotten annoying for me, I’m always walking on eggshells. If I do one thing wrong she gets pissed and no longer follows so I have to reload a previous save. Most of the time I have no clue what I did. The whole undercover for crimson stuff really gets their algorithms in a tizzy.
