I LOVE GOING TO THE CINEMA ALONE. I started doing it when my boyfriend and I broke up and I wondered why I waited so damn long. It's amazing. You get so immersed in the film, have time to ponder things after with no discussion and really let it all sink in. It is wonderful.
about 5 years back I started doing most things alone, primarily because I started living solo. Honestly it's an enriching experience when you figure out how to entertain yourself alone and become self sufficient in the things you enjoy.
Going out to eat solo is not a big deal. I think people assume others are looking at them when in reality most likely no one is even paying attention. If the restaurant has no waiting, they don't mind either. As a plus, if there is a restaurant you like that you eat solo at often, many times you get special treatment (I have gotten free appetizers, drinks - and a chef even asked me if I would try, for free, a new item he was thinking about making as a special)
I thought the same. Until someone took a picture of me. At first I thought “lol get ur head out ur ass ur not a celebrity”. But when I saw the servers being protective and like pulling a chair in front of me, saying things like “you’re waiting for company right?”. Made me think maybe that’s a local creep. Stay safe people❤
@@kimtaeyeonismyeverything yeah that is the only thing... i’d recommend going to a place that has families and during a busier time so it’s less likely that anyone will disturb u/creep on u
Because of my job I eat out alone at least twice a week, also love going cinema alone, I have a cineworld card so go often to make the most of it & just feel more relaxed on my own, not having to make conversation with someone else all the time is so so relaxing. If you’ve never done these things, I’d highly highly recommend!
I do this a lot ever since quarantine times, eating alone and going to the cinema or sit in the park alone it’s like taking yourself out on a date. Self love❤
Everything I do I do alone. Traveling, eating out, vacation in a hotel. I can do all the things I like with no compromises to others in my own pace. If I want to do something, I do it. Waiting for other people to join means I would miss the best things in life just waiting for others. If someone wants to come with me I’m the one who says "no" the most of the times cause having company bothers me. It costs me too much energy to talk to them. I’m female, too. So - don’t worry. You’ll get used to it and you’ll start to feel more comfortable the more often you do it. Nobody is looking at you. It’s normal.
I dislike working out too - if you like to dance and haven’t tried the videos online, there are so many dance work outs and they’re so much fun💃🏾💃🏾 Go you for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, that’s awesome😃
I can’t begin to tell you how much you inspire me. I’m so glad I found your videos! I love to watch you sort through things in your life, and although I have different areas in my life that I like to sort, the process is all one in the same. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing. ❤️🩹 Stay beautiful and enlightened.
Eating out alone is so special, because you kind of feel out of time : you look at people, you feel the energy of the place, you think, you write, you read. Same when you take a drink in a bar. I love it. And going to the movie is like a treat!
I want do it also because I don't jave friends (they are far away or not free or married) I am alone and want be happy in my own company. Your videos motivate me
Love this. I really need to do this. I hardly have any friends in town and the ones I have are located in diff cities. Stalling life upon others to turn up or everything to go right is the worst thing you can do to yourself. Wish I can have the confidence that you have, some day and soon! ❤️
This was my goal last summer! It felt weird to go into some places alone but I did love trying new food and finding new places on my own. Amazing 😁👌🏽 My biggest accomplishment was going to see an opera alone! Definitely want to do cinema too :)
I have had the opportunity to go for solo dates since 2016 and never stopped since ❤ I love having time dedicated to myself and just enjoy the outside world little by little ☺️💛
I sit in cafes with a coffee alone and bring a book because I find if I'm struggling to focus on reading, making it seems like a movie scene or something aesthetic or romantic helps me and I'm not getting all anxious in my head about people looking at me because I'm too into the plot of the story. I'd like to eat full dinner meals by myself by I can only justify spending more than €5 on food if I'm with others who want to eat too because it just feels like a waste of money otherwise in my head
I do a a lot of things alone especially Movies!! I can’t stand people talking to me during the movie and also it’s not easy to find people that they like the same movies with you!
I've been going around alone in london after starting uni here because Ice managed to make no friends 😍 but I actually love being alone, I can order whatever, go to whatever store without having to make sure whether the other person likes it or is judging me hhsbdjs
I ate out alone when I was in Wales. Well, I was the only customer in the whole restaurant for half my meal. I chose a table with a fiew towards a tiny waterfall along a rock right behind the window which positioned me in the middle of the room... It was a little awkward. The staff was super nice and talked to me for a while. They were all students helping out so me in my 20s with a rather bad high school memory felt awkward once again. But I made it, everything was fine and I don't regret going out by myself. Would do it again. ( coffee by myself is a lot easier for me) edit: personally I don't like to be on my phone while eating out. I want to honour the people cooking for me by fully being there and paying attention. What's other peoples opinion on this?
The first time shopping alone, I kind of felt weird as I'm not used to that (coz I'm talkative haha) - and that's the start of my "self care" moments. I love the serenity of being alone and can just do or go whenever whatever I want. Especially when travelled out of country alone for the first time, I really enjoyed my internal quiet moment. 😊
I began to do my own adventures two years ago. To other cities in my country, and go out to eat dinner alone. Its the best treat i can possibly give myself, to have a me-time.
The best thing about doing things on your own is you get to choose what you want! I have a husband and 4 kids. I rarely get to do the things I actually want, or eat what I actually want! Solo dates are a dream!
I miss London. I miss Leong's Legends and I miss my daily run through Kensington gardens, and walk along the Southbank with a whippy soft ice once a week and the markets and theater and musical dates and the free museums. I even miss the tube. God I had too much time as a student. 😅
I used to love going to the cinema alone, It's been years since the last time I went by myself but I've also become even more self conscious in the past few years
I started going out to eat and see something at the cinema too and while it was scary at first I love it now and im always looking forward going out by myself again
I started watching movies alone after an unexpected situation. I was on a girls night out with my frnd. We were already inside the theatre when her bf called and had to talk something out. So she left when the movie was just starting. I sat there and watched. First it was kinda disappointing coz I was there alone while everyone else were in grps. Tho movie was average, it had great graphics. So was good in a way. I literally forgot I was alone and enjoyed the movie. I loved it so much and I'm a bit of a movie critique. I go with friends for average and below average movies on the other hand I go alone for movies that get people invested. Those deep intriguing movies. If I wanna enjoy something without missing a scene, I'm going alone.
At first I felt sacred and I was feared to be left alone and mostly felt embarrassed when sitting alone and eating looking at others face but as time passes I felt good and comfortable to sit and eat alone or go wherever I want. I don't wait for others to came if they don't want to then it's okay I wouldn't cancel my plan I will do and do it as I have done it many times and own my own. And trying to do more so I can be happy myself
I love going to London by myself it's amazing! The only thing I dont like is trying to find somewhere to eat by myself I usually end up in McDonalds Haha 😅 gonna stop doing that though
Oh, once I went to watch an obscurely timed show of Dune in a not-that-popular cinema (Also people don't watch English movies as much as the native language movies here) and NO ONE CAME! I thought they'll send me back but they played the movie. It was so fun 😭😭 felt like the main character ngl

exaclty!!! this is my fav hobby
about 5 years back I started doing most things alone, primarily because I started living solo. Honestly it's an enriching experience when you figure out how to entertain yourself alone and become self sufficient in the things you enjoy.
Yes, it can definitely be a more focused experience, you can really watch the film intensely
#SaveSoil
I'm gonna try it tomorrow ✊😌
This is why I prefer watching any movie alone tbh
I don't like talking during movies
you have no idea how fun and liberating solo date is. I miss doing a solo date, especially going to the cinema alone is the highlight.
You should still take yourself on a solo date occasionally even if your in a relationship, you deserve it ❤️
The theater* but youre absolutely right! I usually go the theater every Friday, in the weekends i have no plans!
I wish you could do a series like this!! As an introvert whose friends are not always available, it would be really encouraging 😊

Visited London by myself a few times and felt people were always looking at me when I was eating alone. Ah well, not bothering anyone😂
Same. Went to London alone, had lunch and dinner at many places alone, it's nice to do things at ones own pace.
People stare in London no matter what you do

I looove taking myself out. It feels so good to do things on your own time and just have time for you. More people should try it
I went to london by myself for a week and absolutely loved it ! Eating out alone in Wagamamas was so nice because they sat me by someone else alone 🥺
I do this a lot ever since quarantine times, eating alone and going to the cinema or sit in the park alone it’s like taking yourself out on a date. Self love❤
i love going places on my own, last week i went to the cinema and watched avatar. and going again next week
This is awesome
I'm a massive introvert
You have inspired me to get out of my comfort zone too.
Going out alone means you can focus on yourself more while doing whatever you wanna do, and that what i love the most about it!!
Loved this!! More shorts please 🙌💛

I love your storytelling. Your voice is just so heartwarming ❤️
So beneficial going out alone, I believe it improves your relationship with your self.

Go you for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, that’s awesome😃
I have friends but I love being alone and doing things on my own. I adore u, Taz. Carefree and cheerful. Never fail to put a smile on my face:)

I would love to meet a women like this😍, they’re honestly the best and seem worth it.
This is such a good series ! ✨ hope you keep making videos !
Currently watching the video while eating out alone 😂

I miss my solo dates. I use to go to temples, movies, restaurants, long drive. It was so refreshing.
*Eating is a comfort zone*
focus in what you’re eating and enjoy it enough that you can’t see what anyone else looks like ✨

The cinema and restaurant alone thing is something I do FOR comfort 😅
Your Cardiff accent properly makes me feel like I’m living vicariously through you
i was literally talking about wanting to do things alone yst and u posted this at the same time!

I do a a lot of things alone especially Movies!! I can’t stand people talking to me during the movie and also it’s not easy to find people that they like the same movies with you!
I love Taz. She's awesome! 😚
Love that term solo date. You don't need company to have a good time.
Omg j really love the idea of journalling on a solo date but I'm so conscious of people deciding to sit next to me or look into what I'm writing 🥺🥺
I've been going around alone in london after starting uni here because Ice managed to make no friends 😍 but I actually love being alone, I can order whatever, go to whatever store without having to make sure whether the other person likes it or is judging me hhsbdjs
*I've done this so many times. It's really good to do that sometimes. I love my company the most actually* ❤️
I’ve done this since 17 lol it’s amazing and holidaying solo! 30 this year 😅
Wow 👌🏾.... it must be therapeutic in its own way am sure. Good going 👌🏾 👍🏾 ✔️
Me sitting and eating the biggest pizza alone in a public while watching this

Little tip: if you want to stick to a workout, choose something you'd actually enjoy. Then it won't feel like a chore, but a fun thing to do

I began to do my own adventures two years ago. To other cities in my country, and go out to eat dinner alone. Its the best treat i can possibly give myself, to have a me-time.
I love doing things by myself, I always learn new things about myself
So great :) this is what I do since.. A weak.. :D boosts your selfconfidence ❤️
I used to take myself out quite often when I was not married,I really enjoyed it as I'd bring a book and could leave whenever I wanted!

I used to love going to the cinema alone, It's been years since the last time I went by myself but I've also become even more self conscious in the past few years
This is great thing to promise oneself. I might just follow you in this...
I started going out to eat and see something at the cinema too and while it was scary at first I love it now and im always looking forward going out by myself again

I wish I could like this video more than once.
I’ve been doing these things since the start so going out of my comfort zone would be going places with friends 🥲
Its the best feeling to go alone to watch a movie ✨
Wowwww.. I wanna do it too!! Thanks Taz.
Love your energy 🤗
I go out by myself a lot.I think that sometimes I need to be by myself. it's a healthy thing and you should try it guys🤗🤞
The cinema alone is my favourite but I’ve only been able to do that in the city!
I did this all the time. Except for going to cinema. It’s empowering. I also go sales call everywhere alone.
omg ur glasses are so cute on you
At first I felt sacred and I was feared to be left alone and mostly felt embarrassed when sitting alone and eating looking at others face but as time passes I felt good and comfortable to sit and eat alone or go wherever I want. Your journal. Its huge. 😮 where did you get it. I want one too. 😊
Doing stuff alone is actually amazing!! Eg amusement parks
I love going to London by myself it's amazing! The only thing I dont like is trying to find somewhere to eat by myself I usually end up in McDonalds Haha 😅 gonna stop doing that though
New subscriber here, love this video. It has made me realise that I should do more things by myself for myself, definitely doing this this year. ❤
I love eating out and going to the movies by myself. Next I want to travel on my own.
Its on my bucket list really want to try waiting for the perfect date to go out by myself
Sometimes I go out alone and do whatever I want, it makes me happy 🙃
Also went to watch She said alone and no one on the cinema! It's great to step out the comfort zone
As a fellow introvert....I approve 👍
i went to the movie theater by myself one day and i loved it. it was so relaxing and nice to enjoy quality time with myself!
I sleep on my sofa all the time!❤❤❤
I traveled alone, went to the cinema alone, had lunch and dinner alone, it's so freeing to do what we want whenever.
Self date time is the best... Love it 🥰🥰👍🏼
Wagamama alone is really applaudable because the table are literally group based
Im going to the cinema and restaurants and vacation alone all the time. Perks of not having friends I guess😂
I go out Alone all the time just me and my headphones and power bank 😂
Damn! 😂😂 It's been a while since I saw this channel
I would love to do this. But i live in a small city, there's just too many familiar faces around lol
