Speaking subjectively, I find the portions of your videos where you DO lean into your architectural knowledge fascinating and genuinely enjoyable. Your unique perspective is a tremendous part of the charm and appeal to your content. Again, at least from my perspective and why I myself seek out your videos, versus why I seek out other Souls content creators' videos for various other interests, perspectives, etc.
So glad to have the Elden Wait series return, even if the wait is also killing my insides 😂

That cloak at 1:40 looks like the Official's attire to me. In that item's description it's said that the magisterial officials carried out "Surveillance, executions, gruesome rituals...". Since it's found close to Melina's Blade of Calling, one of those gruesome rituals might've left her burnt and bodyless.
My personal theory is that Melina was in the Shadow Lands before Miquella. Whatever she suffered was the prototype of what both Ranni and Miquella intentionally done to themselves. Probably Miquella gave Torrent to Melina as a way for her to escape the Shadow Lands. She might be following Miquella's wishes out of gratitude (compel affection and all that).
That item “Serpents Amniom” never meant much sense to me but now has me second guessing its purpose… also Merica is “impaled” currently

On 8:49 it looks like there is small suture that looks like one of the four belfrys in leurnia
When looking at the main shot of the dlc area, I feel like there’s a depth perception trickery. Like the “crucible” collecting the sap seems to be a lot further in the land than the castle in front of it. I feel like we haven’t seen a lot of this dlc 😮.

The arch is exactly the same as the one after you fight draconic tree sentinel to get into leyendel
6:30 beside the structure you are talking about. On the left there is a "little tower" as you mentioned. Pretty sure it's a belfry just like in the base game.
Thats not Gideon at the beginning talking about Miquella, it's a completely diffrent voice and accent.
