Many noises can also come from bottom bracket area. Lack of grease and loose bolts can cause noise when pedaling. Check cranks and pedals.

That’s great I was going pop it open so time consuming and I had every thing in place good advice .
I have this vibration/squeak coming from my front hub motor. I think it's a needle bearing, because it only happens with weight on the bike and gets worse with use.

What about e-bike that's making like a knocking noise that sounds like it's coming out of then th e rear hub when I engage the throttle could it be a bearing went bad I put about 1600 Mi on it since November
So, not a video about motor sounds then. Two normal sounds and a bunch of "It's your brakes bro".
Mine is when I first engaged the motor it rattles and vibrates just for like two maybe three seconds regardless of the speed and regardless of pedal or throttle. Also if I let off and re-engage it does the same. Is that normal? I've never seen that in any other videos
Thank you. I think it's my brakes or spokes. The noise only happens above 14 mph.

when I accelerate my ebike or motor make a vibration noise. It wasn't that bad in the beginning but now it is. what is your opinion. Thanks in advance.
I’m trying to figure out the same problem. It vibrates really bad as I accelerate then goes away. It’s only at the start of the acceleration.

What could cause a sort of rattling noise coming from the speed controller during load? Mine just started doing this and was always silent before!
i think i have the same thing, do you feel weird vibrations through the seat as well?
@@mungoprus-shearer1624 Yes I does sometimes feel like that. I’m convinced it’s nothing to do with the motor, but maybe a speed controller setting, or maybe the motor wiring is intermittent.

Hello my bike is making a horrible deep humming sound when I first take off, and sometimes when I throttle it when Im already moving. It don't do it as bad if I ease on the throttle, but I have to go really slow. Any ideas? It's a new motor.
Does it cut out or skip?
I'm actually having some kind of noise from my ebike and I think it's the motor but I'm not sure. I have a Short on my channel if anyone wants to look at it and let me know what you think... I really don't want to take apart my bike if I don't have to

If you have Swytch bike motor making a dreadful grinding noise it can be fixed (twice in my case) by cleaning the contacts or by a factory reset of the controller - for noise see ruclips.net/user/shortszDw2dYFf19s
