If your footage wasn't enough, your editing makes all the difference. I have a friend in the business and he agrees. I really love the Quetico. This is epic!
I never understood your nonchalant attitude towards losing a fish until this summer. I fished 80 plus days at my lakehouse because if covid and I soon took on the same attitude. Respect and awe for fish-- if you land them thats fine too! Took the barbs off too- great content. Thank you.
That's awesome Neal, thanks for sharing this. I used to try a lot harder when I had fewer fishing opportunities. Having a lot of chances to fish seems to instill a different mindset.
I have been fishing for 40+ years and I learned the most important lesson from you. Be in the moment, enjoy the sport, appreciate the places where these beautiful fish live. Thank you.
Got this series popped up in my sub list. Never watched it. 16min in. Got to say you are making me a bit jealous, two whole weeks of being off the grid, outdoor and truly free for a moment. Now I wanna see the rest. The best but also the worst moment. The struggles and the easy wins. The meaningful and the wasted time spend. Then bring us home fulfilled by adventure. --------- Not a Tic country Canada? Lucky you! My country? Yeah I say so. After a day hiking I prepped the camp for the evening. Tic check time. They were crawling on the feet upwards. I yeeted at least 8 per foot. That night I swear I felt them crawling on me. Back home, the next day, i pulled 11 tics, they were everywhere. I was a walking shooting target with all the blackpen encircled bitemarks to see if they dont outgrow the ring and showcase the infection. Fun times. I used anti tic lotion amd what not. Guess i forgot my feet? :) ohhh now i remember again was walking bare feet at camp to release the pressure after a days hike. Thats how those suckers got on to me. Note to self put on some sandals at camp. ----------- I need to adjust to your way of filming it but I like it.
Thanks a lot PSDBO! It's actually just our local area specifically that's not plagued by ticks (the area north of Lake Superior). Unfortunately Canada is increasingly being affected by them. Brutal what you're dealing with though!!
@@LostLakes the weather is changing in Canada ? Here the winters are not cold enough anymore for decades to make ice on the lakes to iceskate on. Meaning more ticks in the spring/summer among other warm weather insects we normally dont have and are dangerous. What is your, or anyone reading this, thought about dropstiched kayaks? Any XP with them while angling as well?
I've become a pretty big fan of paddling adventures here on you tube so I'm very glad I found your channel. Can't wait to watch all 5 parts of this adventure!!
Nice. Thanks for sharing your adventure. I recognize many of the lakes from my trips. Put together my still photos into a video for a few of them. Thanks again. Nice job. See you on the water.
Woot, good to come home from an adventure myself to settle in to a good watch from you guys! It really is hard to come back because you're instantly longing to be back out. Thankful that you guys share your experiences to help with my backcountry withdrawal I go through every time I'm back at home!
Thanks a lot Gerald! Totally hear you. I get out quite a lot but it still never seems to be enough. You get back, enjoy the comforts of home for an evening, and a couple of hours later the longing is back
Jon, why the “f” you’re not at a 100k in subs is beyond me. Excellent footage of Quetico. I probably have been to BWCA just south of where you’re at like 20 times and managed to get into Quetico a few times. Thanks for sharing Jon and Erin. Looking forward to the rest of the adventure. ATB Mike
Hahaha much appreciated Mike! Special area. Love that it's protected on both sides of the border. Kind of a beautiful partnership of administrative boundaries
It goes to show quality over quantity. : ) Hands down the best channel online and it's partly due to both Jon & Erin's characters of humility and charisma. Of course, we're in some of the best land and water in the world. : )
Finally got me some "me time" to watch part 1 and the video certainly didn't disappoint. One thing I feel I need to add after reading some of the comments below: re your kit and why you don't eat the fish you catch; simple answer your trip - your rules. It's not like you were in a survival situation. I for one thoroughly enjoyed the video thanks for posting. :)
The content in this video is fantastic. A part 1 Documentary filled with adventure, wilderness scenes, fishing and alot more..Im looking forward to part 2. Cheers to both of you enduring the hardships and pain so we can enjoy a real life wilderness adventure at its finest.
I was really looking forward to seeing the pictographs. I know a little more than the average bear about First Nations history. That was a respectful decision , and it will come back to you. In the beginning of the trip, your anxiety is really high. You remind me of me in that. So pumped about going, you just want to get in there before any setbacks stop you. Anticipating the sequels of this trip. I just love this channel. Thank you .
Thanks so much Alan :) You're probably a planner like me. We worry about the things that may happen and try to prepare for them all. It's a beneficial trait overall, but makes it harder to ever be in the moment

Holy Shiz! that Paddle Planner website is amazing. Thanks for sharing that. I've got two weeks off so I've been pouring over your vids of late trying to land on a destination for a late fall solo. I think Quetico is the winner. All your vids are great! Keep on keeping on!
I know, it's such a gem! I only found out about it for this trip. It's a terrific destination...Algonquin of the north. We got lucky in a sense with the border closure because we only saw people at the start and end of the trip. Thanks a bunch Jason, really appreciate that!
@@LostLakes As far as a route... Did you guys sort of wing it? I imagine you had a rough outline of where you wanted to go. I'd love to just go in there and move around when and where it feels right.
@@JasonIrwinTumblehome Hahah wing it...I'm a planner to the core. Targeted pictos, waterfalls, and some southern lakes with the border closure in mind. But we made some smaller decisions on the fly and in concept, I like your idea immensely. Usually several port options from each lake, with the average distance being very reasonable. Sounds like fun, deciding what to do for the next day by the fire. Biggest choice would be your access point. With fall winds, Stanton Bay is something to consider because you're a lot less likely to find yourself windbound immediately compared to French, Beaverhouse, Nym, etc.
@@LostLakes Yes totally... seems every Quetico vid shows some whipped up frothy big lakes. Your access point seems like the best as far as getting to it... I'll be sleeping at the put in first night after a 14hr drive I'm guessing, so maybe I can get up early and beat the wind down Pickeral Lake. By the map, this park looks awesome... wish it was closer. I'm usually a planner too but with this big chunk of time I have, combined with solo / no shared decision making... looks great for some loose itinerary action :-)
@@JasonIrwinTumblehome so damn far... I wouldn't have the patience to do the drive from the south. But it'll be worth it. Looking at the map, I'm getting wanderlusty again... Enjoy man, look forward to hearing/seeing your story!
Great first video. It has been a while since I took that route (up/down) to Kawnipi. For some reason we always stop on Blueberry Island and I have also wondered about the meaning of Have a Smoke Portage many times - probably just a hold over name from the fur trade days. Why do some portages get named and others don't? Looking forward to Part II as south of Kawnipi is one corner of the park that I have not been (yet). 😀
Thanks Kevin! It seems to be the hard or dramatic ones that get named...but that one is very run of the mill 🤷♂️ Something to look forward to in person maybe...McEwen L was one of my favs.
Your loss Kevin...more for me. Let's begin with Jontario portage A through Z and come up with an alphanumeric coding system if we exhaust those options 😝
Watched your trip again! You two work as a very good team, couple. Engaged? Better lock her down. Don’t find a good camper, canoest, fisher lady, partner and friend that easy these days!! Thanks for letting me hang out again... beautiful scenery, good fishing and nice lakes👍B Deacon
Great video! I was supposed to do my first Quetico Journey next week... Hopefully the borders will be open next year. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip!
Thanks a lot Schmitty! I feel for you...there will be a tip of the cap to our friends south of the border near the end of the series. So hard to miss a paddling season here 😔
Great series Jon! I really appreciate all of your videos. Well done and informative. I spend a lot of time in the BWCAW as well as Quetico, Wabakimi and Crown Land when the border is open. For what its worth, while I find the drone footage beautiful and dramatic I cringe at the thought of drones flying in the wilderness areas even with park permission. I would really like to see them restricted to crown land only and let's keep the wilderness the wilderness. It would break my heart to encounter a drone flying, legally or illegally in BWCAW, Quetico, Wabakimi, Woodland Caribou. I truly believe you can do the great video work you do in those areas without a drone and not diminish other's experience. I just throw out my opinion as something for you to think on a bit. Again, thank you for the work you do. Best always and perhaps our paddles will cross some day! Cheers! (PS-I am sharing basically the same message with Kevin at Kevin Outdoors)
Thanks so much Mike! I'm with ya on the drones. My explanation on that is rather hard to find, at the bottom of my pinned comment on this video, but it explains: *-All drone footage was captured outside of the park at our access point, looking into the park (drones are not permitted in parks here)* Even the shots later in the series, like the overview when Erin hurt her ankle, just B-roll filmed at the same time as the rest of the drone footage. The drone was left in the car for the trip :) Love the tactful way you made your point, and it's a great point 🙂🙂
Quetico is breathtaking! Sure inspiring to make the trip from eastern Manitoba, totally doable with less than 7 hours driving time. "Shelob" lol. "Fox and hound" lol. "My dogs are barking at me" double lol! Can so relate. Thanks for the bannock clinic Erin, I like it! Use a Blackbird Warbonnet gathered end hammock but the AMOK looks like a huge improvement in so many ways. LOVING this trip but the previews look like there will be some weeping and gnashing of teeth to come 8-0
Awesome videos Erin and Jon, we love to paddle too and I don't fish but it makes no difference, my wife doesn't want any fish around the campsite, bears are here fear and we have had an encounter a few years back so we too pack everything. Great trip!!!
Thanks so much End!! Amateurish content on a saturated platform is my understanding of the numbers lol. But that's okay, it's fun to share what we love :)
Thx for sharing this, years ago I took a few trips in that area and really miss it. And you two doing 20+ km and fishing and seeming relaxed and happy... your backcountry experience shows.
It's a wonderful place. Hahah we were good with fresh bodies, but eventually the exertion caught up with us. We thought we packed light enough, but we're really not ultralight travelers. On a trip with 60 portages (120 loads double-carried), it did wear us down eventually
@@LostLakes we weren't ultra either, and 10-15 partages a day was rough sometimes. But 8 days of food is a lot lighter! And sorry to say that Blueberry Is was loaded with berries that year ('16?)
Finally got a chance to watch this and part 2! What a fantastic trip. I'm hoping to do a 10 day trip to the SW corner of Quetico next year in lieu of my typical weeklong BWCA trip. If all is well in the world I think I will have to do it, after seeing this series. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Hope you're doing well Jon!
I watched this before but but I didn't remember the ground burritos. SOOOO funny!!! Dog hairs? What about all the animals. Deer, rabbits an alot more. An the green bean cracked me up again. This is one of my favorite videos. I think I have to watch Canadian wilderness shows for 4 day's to settle me down. I used to watch Andy Griffith whenever something bad happened until I got this phone. My neighbor is going to bulldoze the woods behind my house an set it on fire. I am in shock! I've enjoyed the woods for 43 years. I'll be able to see the sunset when they destroy the woods. That's helping me.
Amazing Video! The lakes you paddled though look so majestic. Looks like fantastic fishing. I think after watching this I really have to make time this weekend to get out and camp :)
Love this series, I watched it once before...watching it again today. oh that food on the ground ha ha I skipped by that this time. I don't like how portages and camp sites aren't marked. I dont believe that hinders the preservation of wilderness. Help people be safe and enjoy this nature securely without getting lost or injured trying to slog through something just cuz a small sign couldn't be put up to find the right trail. Or stuck paddling around at dark not knowing a safe place to camp at. Just my 2 cents. Thank you so much forthright vids guys. I look fwd to more long ones like this.
Thanks Chris! Hahah good call...still can't believe we ate that. Just in the zone I guess. I hear your point on the signage...makes for an interesting debate for sure
That was a great start to this epic adventure. Fishing looked fun but I think it was wise to go bigger with baits and those first two island sites were super beautiful. I cant wait for the next one guys. #amokequipment #getoutside
My partner is Indigenous and was thankful that you took a moment to talk about the pictographs. Thanks for articulating the cultural significance in refraining from photographing them. As always, another great video. I'll echo what another viewer said: I can't believe you're not at 100K subs yet. A matter of time, I'm sure. Top notch. I'll binge watch camping and sailing vloggers over Netflix any day, and you are at the top of the list when it comes to great production. Between you and Adventures of an Old Sea Dog, I hardly have time for regular TV!
Glad to hear that Jason, thank you 🙂 Really appreciate the kind words too! I've been meaning to check out the sailing vlog genre so I'll have to look into that one
Brother eagle was making sure you weren't filming pictographs . Seriously though I applaud your respect for the native people's wishes. What a great trip so far. I only have one question. What is a red squirrel doing on a tiny island. Lol
I don't know. If all cultures had a thing against talking pictures of items from the past, we would know nothing about the past. You did the right thing by not taking pictures, but I disagree with the request not to do so.
Taking a photograph of a pictograph (which was made to communicate a idea to other humans) is just another form of communication. Native pictographs are not and never have been religeous artifacts. PLease lose the anti-european bias.
The local First Nation has specifically requested visitors do not photograph the pictographs. We were simply respecting the wishes of the people’s land we were visiting.
Epic trip so far! Good mention about the pictographs and photography as in the past I've been guilty of that (won't be doing it in the future). Stunning scenery out there and cool wildlife.
Love that Patagonia hat Girl!! I noticed you were concerned about battery power for the camera, I have seen power bricks that are solar powered. Have you looked into one of those? I have seen some comments on food and others that are too critical on certain things about the trip. Just so you guys know there are people like me that "get it" and just enjoy the experience! I enjoyed this one very much and keep up the great work and THANK YOU! for sharing!!
Really appreciate that Thomas!! RUclips is the epitome of the expression "you can't please everybody." I've always thought if I did a 3-week+ trip, I'd have to charge batteries and go solar, but for anything less I think more batteries is the way to go. You have them on-demand, and if it's rainy or you don't have time to leave the panel out for very long, I could see that being a problem. And the weight of the batteries might be less than a powerbank and panel. I could be wrong though
Great video, thanks! We head up every few years for a 10 to 12 day trip. COVID keeping us out for a while but have a trip planned for May of 2022. I recognized some of the lakes and portages - looks like you had a wonderful trip.
Hi John and Erin, great video. Just 2 things - firstly really proud of you both for respecting the wishes of indigenous/first nation tribes👍👍. Secondly, how loud do you snore John, that Erin has to sleep 50 yards away from you🤣
Hello Erin and Jon, I wonder if you'd please consider sharing your thoughts regarding store packaged freeze dried food, verse food you personally prepared? My bias is store due to ease of use and flavorful taste, however, it's expensive and super high in sodium. I think it would be really intriguing to watch a video of you both preparing food for a trip such as Quetico! And I am truly thankful to now know that pictographs are considered holy places. Erin is spot on with her Catholic analogy! Thanks guys. I really think you're both amazing...
Thanks so much Moe! Great question, and I'll touch on that in part 3 of this series, but for cost alone we do it ourselves. We brought one store-bought meal with us (huevos rancheros) and they were fantastic, but if we had only eaten store-bought, it would've cost us 5x as much, not to mention the crazy sodium.
Wondering what pack you use? Being able to secure the paddles to the sides would be a huge help. Also wondering how you get the fishing poles to stay in the canoe during a portage. Would be another huge help to get those out of the hands well doing a portage. Great video!!

Thank you.
What a fantastic adventure, thank you both for taking us along
Thank you Diane!
---------
Not a Tic country Canada? Lucky you!
-----------
I need to adjust to your way of filming it but I like it.
I really like the culinary aspect of you vids 👌👌👌👌
Best outdoor RUclipsr out there! Great quality videos! Love them, keep it up!!
Really appreciate it David!!!
Nice. Thanks for sharing your adventure. I recognize many of the lakes from my trips. Put together my still photos into a video for a few of them. Thanks again. Nice job. See you on the water.
Thanks Russ, great place to make memories eh
you've caught my interest. I like seeing people sharing the same space. it is rare.
It was worth the wait. Part 1 was absolutely beautiful. Cant wait for more.
Thanks a lot Doug!
Hands down the best channel online and it's partly due to both Jon & Erin's characters of humility and charisma.
Of course, we're in some of the best land and water in the world. : )
🧡🧡🧡🧡
I do not understand why either.
Awesome!!! Great editing and filmography. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures.
Thanks Matt!!
You guys are a match.she is willing to slog through that.wow
100% :)
Hahah yeah that question is incessant 😅 Thanks a bunch Tim!!
The content in this video is fantastic. A part 1 Documentary filled with adventure, wilderness scenes, fishing and alot more..Im looking forward to part 2. Cheers to both of you enduring the hardships and pain so we can enjoy a real life wilderness adventure at its finest.
Thanks a lot Dave! It was a nice but fairly uneventful start to the trip. More to come :)
Such an awesome first episode, worth the wait! Looking forward to the next! Thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks J!!
THANK YOU FOR SHORTENING YOUR VIDEOS. I MISS SO MUCH OF THEM BECAUSE WHO HAS TIME FOR 1 HOUR + VIDEOS
Great stuff, guys. Your content is awesome and relaxing at the end of long days. I live vicariously through you.
Much appreciated Logan!
It's a beneficial trait overall, but makes it harder to ever be in the moment
i so Love this trip... Lost Lakes tv folks amazing
Thanks so much Michael!
Great, lock us Merikans out with some trumped up "pandemic thingy" then rub our face in such a spectacular trip! Thanks again for all you do. Watching this while it's snowing in Montana.
I would kill to be in Montana right now. You in East or West Montana?
@@CarbonPower Southwest. We were backpacking the Crazy Mountains Satuday 95 degrees in the valley, tonight snow and 26 degrees. The usual swings for September
Trumped up is right, if he'd been a leader and set a standard you could be in Canada today. Idiot.....
steve hisey been looking at Wolf Creek area. Think I wanna buy a few hundred acres out that way. Ignore the idiot who is talking politics
Lol sorry Steve, I feel your pain. There's a tip of the cap to our neighbours at the end of the trip... (We spell neighbours with a U.)
PS Richard, Noah's right 😉
Amazing
Breath taking
WoW
Million thank yous
Thank you Pam!!
Magnificent you two, what a beautiful sight kicking ass together, my wife and I find that when we tackle something together we get better results. Mahalo Nui fo proving us right.🤙🏽ML&Aloha Your Boy Kekoa&Ohana.🌴🤙🏽🌴🏕🌴
Definitely agree Kekoa and Ohana :) I miss her when I'm solo and find things more difficult, mentally and physically. Aloha and thanks for joining us! 👋
I'm glad you respected the wishes of the First Nation people about the pictographs. I didn't even know that it was a thing I will keep that in mind next time I'm out. Again thank you for your great filming and editing it really gives a good overview of what you saw
Thanks a lot Henry! It's a thing in Quetico, though I've heard some First Nations communities don't mind
Evening, awesome Guys, great job, thanks for taking us along . I'm heading out for a week soon,I'm so looking forward to it, take care, Bob
Thanks a lot Bob! Hope you get some nice fall weather!
Backcountry Angling Ontario thank you, at this point I’ll take what ever comes our way, being out in the wilderness is all that matters, 😊👍🇨🇦
I have been anxiously awaiting this epic adventure, days one thru three certainly didn’t disappoint. What a beautiful place and so well documented. Thanks for sharing this , can’t wait to follow along on the rest of this fantastic journey.
Don
Thanks a lot Don! It was a nice but pretty uneventful start. Lots to come :)
Holy Shiz! that Paddle Planner website is amazing.
Made a canoe trip of 7 days with my dad in Quetico several years ago. Great memories. This reminds me I need to return. Great footage.
Thanks a lot Brennan. An amazing place to make memories, for sure
We can start naming unnamed portages after Canoeing RUclipsrs.
@@AJKPenguin Ha! Might be the way of the future. I would prefer more historical names. :)
Your loss Kevin...more for me. Let's begin with Jontario portage A through Z and come up with an alphanumeric coding system if we exhaust those options 😝
@@LostLakes LOL, I know a few I don't want my name associated with :)
You most definitely don't! That's just a matter of time :) Thanks for joining us Barry!
So hard to miss a paddling season here 😔
Enjoying the trip so far. Thanks for respecting local customs on not filming pictographs. Looking forward to the rest. The fishing looks spectacular!
Thanks Bedanmel!
My explanation on that is rather hard to find, at the bottom of my pinned comment on this video, but it explains:
*-All drone footage was captured outside of the park at our access point, looking into the park (drones are not permitted in parks here)*
Even the shots later in the series, like the overview when Erin hurt her ankle, just B-roll filmed at the same time as the rest of the drone footage. The drone was left in the car for the trip :)
Love the tactful way you made your point, and it's a great point 🙂🙂
Quetico is breathtaking! Sure inspiring to make the trip from eastern Manitoba, totally doable with less than 7 hours driving time. "Shelob" lol. "Fox and hound" lol. "My dogs are barking at me" double lol! Can so relate. Thanks for the bannock clinic Erin, I like it! Use a Blackbird Warbonnet gathered end hammock but the AMOK looks like a huge improvement in so many ways. LOVING this trip but the previews look like there will be some weeping and gnashing of teeth to come 8-0
Hahah thanks Canesser!! Aside from being a little more awkward to get into, we definitely favour the Amok.
Awesome videos Erin and Jon, we love to paddle too and I don't fish but it makes no difference, my wife doesn't want any fish around the campsite, bears are here fear and we have had an encounter a few years back so we too pack everything. Great trip!!!
I'm sure one encounter is enough to change your habits forever...yikes. Good call! Thanks Robert!
amazing video. so addicted to all of your videos right now. i cannot understand how you do not have millions of subscribers.
Thanks so much End!! Amateurish content on a saturated platform is my understanding of the numbers lol. But that's okay, it's fun to share what we love :)
Holy CRAP so many portages, that's killer. But beauty all around, looks like a great relaxing trip.
Hahah yeah it really wore us down as the trip went on
Thx for sharing this, years ago I took a few trips in that area and really miss it.
Soooo jealous. But, Thank you for taking us along on your journey, absolutely awe inspiring. ❤️
Thanks Steven!!!
Awesome trip that you had! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Martin! 4 more parts to come :)
You’s never disappoint. Amazing footage and scenery. Thank you so much for taking us with you.😘
Thanks Trisha!!
Wonderful and fun adventures. I wish you good luck and good health both of you .... Yvonne Haddad....👍✨✨✨🇨🇦
Thanks Yvonne!! 🙂🙂
Let's hope 2021 is a much better year... Thanks a lot TR!
Stunning footage so far Jon & Erin...thanks for taking us along....can't wait for more video. Cheers!
Thanks Deb!!
Love you two, you’re becoming one of my favorite channels.😎
Thanks so much Bob!!
Hahaha I can't believe we ate those... Much appreciated Chris! Oh man that is a tough pill to swallow. Nice silver lining but still 😔
SUPER X 1000 Serbia Belgrade Zoran this woman is fantastic she knows how to live life.
Wow!! Epic trip! Awesome adventure! Stunning camera work and editing. Thanks so much!
Much appreciated Bob!!!
Sweet! Enjoyed this thank you both. 😊
Thanks Sandy!!
Part 1 was delightful!
Amazing Video! The lakes you paddled though look so majestic. Looks like fantastic fishing. I think after watching this I really have to make time this weekend to get out and camp :)
Thanks a lot Carl! Sounds like a good plan to me!!
Awesome video, we went on a 12 day trip this July/August, also starting at Stanton bay with the same canoe.
Hahah must seem eerily familiar!
That was a great start to this epic adventure. Fishing looked fun but I think it was wise to go bigger with baits and those first two island sites were super beautiful. I cant wait for the next one guys. #amokequipment #getoutside
Thanks a lot Erich! More to come on the debate on whether to go big or small for big fish...
A great trip, beautiful nature and a great documentary!
Thanks Forestowo! (Part 1 of 5 BTW)
So amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Tyler!!
That looks like a great trip. Haven't been to Quetico yet. Perhaps this summer, 2021. Thanks for sharing.
Great looking area (and historic). First meal actually contained "Ground beef"!
Change that to Ground Ground!
LOL
Mesmerizing as usual. Beautiful start to this series. Like all those fish, I'm hooked...
Thanks a lot Jeff!!
This is a dynamic adventure over 5 videos. Tough trip. 🙏🏾🥂
Just about to watch. Can't wait!
Brother eagle was making sure you weren't filming pictographs . Seriously though I applaud your respect for the native people's wishes. What a great trip so far. I only have one question. What is a red squirrel doing on a tiny island. Lol
Hahah no land predators I guess! Not a bad deal for Mr. Squirrel. Thanks Adam!
I don't know. If all cultures had a thing against talking pictures of items from the past, we would know nothing about the past. You did the right thing by not taking pictures, but I disagree with the request not to do so.
MOTHER OF GOD. The wait is over.
Beautiful Jon and Erin .... What a adventure .... Bring on the rest ... Cheers
What a beautiful place your at this channel is by far my favorite 👍
Thanks so much Dennis!
Beautiful. Eagles are catchers, we are fisherman. Thanks for sharing.
Not to be be critical but bald eagles are mostly scavenger's
Hahah interesting Adam. Thanks David!
Good on you for respecting other's culture's!!! Big ups!!!
WOW! 50 lakes. Great footage, looks like fun for sure.
Epic trip so far! Good mention about the pictographs and photography as in the past I've been guilty of that (won't be doing it in the future). Stunning scenery out there and cool wildlife.
Thanks Darren! Me too, many times. Just didn't know. It's also possible that it's accepted elsewhere, just not in Quetico...I really don't know
Looks like a great trip so far. Looking forward to the rest of the tour. Thanks. Cheers
Thanks Rob!
Your very lucky to be out on this trip! Jealous 👍
Great video, thanks! We head up every few years for a 10 to 12 day trip. COVID keeping us out for a while but have a trip planned for May of 2022. I recognized some of the lakes and portages - looks like you had a wonderful trip.
Thanks Pat! And sorry to hear that...that would be painful to miss out on. Hoping that your May 2022 trip makes up for all
Hi John and Erin, great video. Just 2 things - firstly really proud of you both for respecting the wishes of indigenous/first nation tribes👍👍. Secondly, how loud do you snore John, that Erin has to sleep 50 yards away from you🤣
Hahaha! Thanks a lot Roden! 😝
I’m new to your channel and totally enjoy the content! I look forward to watching all your videos!
❤️❤️
Thanks a lot Jody!!!
Strong couple... well done!
Thanks Justin! :)
