Don’t drink or do drugs and definitely dont drive or ride with someone or yourself if under the influence.

I raised my children the same way and they are successful people today. The schools today are nothing but crap. They are not teaching children anything but what they want them to learn. No history , no civics, Half the children these days leave school with a substandard education. Its sickening . I have seen college students that dont even know who the first president was. I fear for our future.
My parents instilled the same values. Respect for others was one of their top priorities after faith in God and following his 10 Commandments. We were taught that we all are brothers and sisters and made in the image of God. So we never knew or understood what racism was (and we are white, but that should make no difference). They also taught us commitment; if or when we signed up for an activity at school we were made to practice, do our best and then some, challenge ourselves, and no matter how hard it got, not to give up, stick to your commitment! We were taught responsibility and consequences for our actions; no grounding or taking away a favorite toy or a little chat about how it was wrong, it was an instant smack on the butt for the wrongdoing, more smacks and a lecture when Daddy got home. Seeing the disappointment and paid in my Dad's face when one of us did wrong is a look I swore I would never put on my Dad's face again, especially since he worked extra jobs & did without the most basics to provide for his family. Daddy didn't drink, smoke, gamble, or go out, just work and come home. I am very proud of my parents and the way they brought us up. Sometimes it was very hard because of lack of money, but they always found a way for us to get by. Our family had only one vacation in my entire life, and it took my Dad years of working extra jobs, doing without, and saving every penny he could to have the money to pay as we went (no credit cards for our family). Maybe if more people lived within their means, worked extra jobs, and SAVED maybe they could have a better life too, and maybe even millionaires. Who knows? We never even got close to being that, but my Dad did everything he could to be and remain debt free.

I’ve been pulled over by cops in Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, San Fernando, Burbank, West Covina, North Hollywood and the list goes on and on. I complied with the cops instead of being belligerent and disrespectful and took my tickets and fought them in court if I felt like I should and or wanted. If you act belligerent or antagonistic then you will provoke a cop to act more aggressive. Just be compliant and then you can go on with your day and deal with the ticket later. ALL ethnicities get traffic stops. NOT just blacks!

As Hispanic from California, I grew up in a very bad neighborhood. You knew what streets you were not supposed to walk through. You had to make sure to be home before dark. Police officers didn’t really police our neighborhood for fear. That woman knows nothing about the struggles and reality that some people have to live with!

The older gentleman is awesome. I worked security for the RNC in Cleveland. He was unapologetic when he was speaking to people who came at him for being a “sell out”. What I loved about working the event is when people stopped yelling at each other and listened, they walked away shaking hands and agreeing to disagree. So many people are brainwashed or react without knowing the facts. Thanks for sharing this video. I was kinda hoping i would be in the video somewhere in the background. As a white parent I too, have to tell my kids special rule for going out in public.
Don’t break the law, don’t do dumb thing, don’t do anything that you can get hurt or cause a friend too, don’t tarnish your name or family name. Be smart and safe, and invoke your rights if you do encounter a LEO.

I agree wholeheartedly . I was raised in a similar fashion. I was taught right and wrong, respect for others and many more attributes. I raised my children the same way and they are successful people today. The schools today are nothing but crap. They are not teaching children anything but what they want them to learn. No history , no civics, Half the children these days leave school with a substandard education. Its sickening . I have seen college students that dont even know who the first president was. I fear for our future.
My parents instilled the same values. Respect for others was one of their top priorities after faith in God and following his 10 Commandments. We were taught that we all are brothers and sisters and made in the image of God. So we never knew or understood what racism was (and we are white, but that should make no difference). They also taught us commitment; if or when we signed up for an activity at school we were made to practice, do our best and then some, challenge ourselves, and no matter how hard it got, not to give up, stick to your commitment! We were taught responsibility and consequences for our actions; no grounding or taking away a favorite toy or a little chat about how it was wrong, it was an instant smack on the butt for the wrongdoing, more smacks and a lecture when Daddy got home. Seeing the disappointment and paid in my Dad's face when one of us did wrong is a look I swore I would never put on my Dad's face again, especially since he worked extra jobs & did without the most basics to provide for his family. Daddy didn't drink, smoke, gamble, or go out, just work and come home. I am very proud of my parents and the way they brought us up. Sometimes it was very hard because of lack of money, but they always found a way for us to get by. Our family had only one vacation in my entire life, and it took my Dad years of working extra jobs, doing without, and saving every penny he could to have the money to pay as we went (no credit cards for our family). Maybe if more people lived within their means, worked extra jobs, and SAVED maybe they could have a better life too, and maybe even millionaires. Who knows? We never even got close to being that, but my Dad did everything he could to be and remain debt free.

First of all, not all lives matter. Many republican states have the death penalty and the bible???? Read it one more time. Religion? They have already made that abundantly clear.
Second, the issue is institutional racism ( the police is an gov. institution), not whether John killed Steve and they were both African American.
Third, the police is not supposed to act on perceptions of race. They are trained in law enforcement, and that is how it should be.
Fourth, Obama killed people who attacked the US. and in wars he inherited from republicans. He received the noble peace price for “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” not for killing Bin Laden.
Fifth, Syria before Obama was persecution, war, chemical attacks, etc. Yes, this needed destruction unless of course you support that status quo.
Sixth: Private Citizen "Robert O'Neil" did not kill anybody. Soldier "Robert O'Neil" under the direct command of his commander in chief killed Bin Laden. A soldier is part of a hierarchy of his command. That is the way it works.
Seventh. an employer hiring black people does not mean that he cares about you. Actually, he has to hire people of different races. It is the law. It is not an act of love for any particular group.

I’ve been pulled over by cops in Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, San Fernando, Burbank, West Covina, North Hollywood and the list goes on and on. I complied with the cops instead of being belligerent and disrespectful and took my tickets and fought them in court if I felt like I should and or wanted.
If you act belligerent or antagonistic then you will provoke a cop to act more aggressive. Just be compliant and then you can go on with your day and deal with the ticket later. ALL ethnicities get traffic stops. NOT just blacks!
