I’m not conservative or liberal but it’s easy to see who’s arguing from an emotional perspective and who’s arguing with a logical perspective.

Hierophant. Bullshite! Being a skeptic isn’t being a denier. Most conservatives acknowledge climate change-climate has changed throughout history. The question is how big a role is human contribution to it, and what to do about it.
The problem with the science is that too many have been caught fudging numbers and relying on exaggerated computer modeling. What’s even worse, is that just about every prediction based on computer modeling has failed to come to fruition. We are well past the markers when the UN and Al Gore said entire countries would be washed away by 20 feet of rising sea level.
Even more ironic is that instead of hoards of starving people, CO2 has contributed to a significant greening of the globe, making once desolate regions capable of farming and agriculture. Maybe the reason this skepticism exist is because of the bullshite lies the Left has propagated in their effort to redistribute wealth and control the lives of everyone.
I am the only one who read this post and assumed he was saying the conservatives were emotional...because technically both sides made factual statements but one side was clearly more aggressive than the other.

I honestly thought he was a liberal at first. He exudes class, and oftentimes, the more advanced a civilization is, the more "liberal" it becomes, as the human life can now focus on such things. That also works on a smaller scale with communities and people. The more of a High Life a person lives, the more likely that person is to be a liberal, but if you live out in the midwest and great plains where there is mostly farms, you will encounter more conservative views and people.

My husband grew up in Brooklyn and went to public school there; many of his friends were gang members and hustlers. He decided to join the military to leave that life... And he asks his friends to do the same... They all said they didn't want to join the military because they didn't like anyone screaming at them or telling them what to do.... Now they are still doing the same thing and hustling to survive... My husband now has a master's degree in Aerospace, and he holds an executive position in the company that he works for...
So my point is: We all have the same opportunity to do what we want with our lives. No one is to blame for our choices but ourselves. So blaming it on a school or society is not going anywhere...
I hear you and I did the same.. but no poor people should have to sign their life to the military for a fair shot. This proves there's a problem. You'll criticize those born in that lifestyle but not the ones draining our communities of resources, filling our communities with guns, and more..

It sounds like that individual was looking for something that could teach him discipline so he could learn how to thrive, you can learn that with having a job your committed to, work for that paycheck and stay disciplined so you can succeed. We do it to escape our environment and gain opportunities. Even seeing the military as an option requires a positive role model to introduce it. Most in the hood don’t know anything about the military.

Your options USED TO BE make it big with entertainment, take out money you don’t have for college after attending purposefully underfunded schools, sign up for the military, get money doing something illegal, or do low wage grunt work for 10+ years.

As a Democrat, I agree. I’ve had conversations with Republicans and I always let them finish what they’re saying. It is more about respect than trying to push your views onto someone. I’ve learned good things about a Republican side of politics from an economical standpoint; but regarding social issues I am a Democrat.

We as a society
need to have these conversations more often but they must be controlled as you can see how indifferent each person is and want the other to believe there narrative almost forcefully this is why we must never lose freedom of speech its healthier to discuss our differences than ignore them.

I am a black kid. Honestly I don't understand why black people keep acting like we are the same people that have been beaten, enslaved, ridiculed, etc. 200 years ago. Additionally, you can just call them “conservatives.” Everyone in the video was black, so you didn’t really need to distinguish them from the white conservatives who weren’t present. “The Black Conservatives” isn’t the name of a distinct political party, and they aren’t their own species.

Had a rough life but now being outta the house I’m thinking for myself and better for it, I strongly believe modern liberal/democratic ways of life are a disease to our country.

The one thing that jumped out at me watching this was, the conservative participants were very laid back and seem to be very comfortable. The liberals were on the edge of their seats ready to pounce. They were not relaxed.

Yeah that rhetoric is so harmful. While I don't agree that welfare should be cut (I and people I know have been on it just when we were down on our luck, and it's not exactly a walk in the park, and cuts would actually harm regular people who just need a temporary fix), I think the "social welfare" given to groups like this is way overboard. I know a black teen girl, a refugee from Africa, and she bought into this rhetoric so hard, even talking about how "we" were slaves (despite the fact that nobody in her family was ever a slave). She was 16 reading at a grade 4 level, even after being in Canada for like 8 years. And you know what? She was a smart girl, but honestly too lazy to learn. I tried teaching her, and as soon as it got hard, she'd just quit, and I had to drag her back to it. And worst of all, her teachers actually *enabled* that by saying there's speech recognition tech and such that would help her get around her illiteracy. I was honestly shocked that they'd have that attitude. THAT is a kind of welfare itself, and it really does need to stop.

Local charities are much more generous and caring and provide an overall more pleasant experience than the government does. And when you're down on your luck and feel like the world is crashing down on you and wants to take you out, you need that friendly face to pick you back up.
I know from personal experience. My family has struggled with hard times for ages because of welfare. My mom is 56 and just now learning how to hold a steady job to work for her income because I'm not letting her take out welfare anymore. Welfare helps nobody because there's no end to it. It's meant to keep people hooked on hat lifestyle, not provide a temporary fix. Charity will eventually stop, especially when they realize that you're not doing anything to actively better yourself. Local charities is where it's at. Not government welfare.

Z3PHLAR, my feelings exactly. This is a debate that the black community really need to have and everybody from all races would be interested and could learn a lot by listening in. Maybe just maybe real conversation’s between all races could start to happen and come to the point where we realize that we do know and understand each other. I feel most of truly do know and can relate to each other. We are Americans that grew up together in America. Growing up in America for me color never mattered for me or my piers. Whites, blacks, browns, asians, mix was not a factor in the way we treated or viewed each other. I don’t know how all the sudden so many are acting like thats not how it was. Political propaganda is pushing us back in to division and in my opinion possibly into new higher levels divisions than ever even existed in this country.
