Nice pick, I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? I’d love to retire with at least $2million savings. Now you gotta rely on a pretty good diversification if you must stay green. Currently up 11% and being cautious. Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 0-1% interest.
Well up at 11% in this present market is impressive. I was wondering if investing in a cumulative ETF during this next decade is a sound investment. Or is it better to invest in a distributing ETF (even considering taxes)?

Good day Sir! I watched your blog about stock and dividends on RUclips. My father passed away last July 19, 2005 and my mother died last month. As we checked our parents documents we found that my father has stock at Meralco, Since December 28, 1976. 40 total stock @₱10/ share. 10% accumulative preferred stock We don’t have any idea about it so my sister emailed Meralco and they have some requirements in order to claim it. We don’t have any idea how much it cost approximately at this time, if we submit all the requirements which will cost us money for the preparation of those papers and we don’t know how much we will get from it. Sir do you have any idea since Meralco is not telling us any figure. Thank you very much for your time. Respectfully yours, Leandro Rodríguez

Hi Sir. Given that you get dividends, can you actually cash-in or redeem these for your own use? BTW, I appreciate that you always reply. Be safe and be well. Thank you.
this is a very sensitive topic.. i don't want to give financial advice. better consult po your trusted adviser. :) but to answer your question, possible nmn, as long as the yield or dividend rate can support ur yearly expenses. the risks however is that, dividends can change anytime.
this is a difficult question to answer. kasi naka dependi sau.. if you are a trader, then there are support and resistance as your indicator. If you are investing for a goal, then you cost average and then sell when you achieve your goal via capital appreciation.. If you are a dividend investor, you invest regularly, and never sell. only enjoy the dividends.. :) so yah.. =)
