use a paper clip or pin and push down on the reset pin hole for 5 minutes. It just does a soft reset. For a hard reset remove your battery negative cable for 15 seconds.

So what happened was most likely we either reversed the polarity when hooking up the camera to the 12v+ / trigger with the ground or more than likely just switched the setting by accident under “system” -> camera settings->camera polarity. Should be set to “Battery “ :)

I just installed a Pioneer in my F150, got the correct wire harness for it. Well it turns on and the pioneer loading screen comes up, but then it just stays blank. I can see light behind the screen, but nothing else happens. I followed instructions on YT how to install, so will see if this reset helps.
So in the bottom left of your head unit there is a little pin hole if you push a mechanical pencil or paper clip in and press the button for like 3 secs it rests it and it works amazing

I pressed the reset button & mine is still on a black screen with pioneer across it. This system has only been in for a year. Guess it’s trash idk but it’s frustrating!!

This sadly did not work for me just installed a new unit and was working fine soon as I connected back up camera screen went black. Tried disconnecting the battery. Seen this video and rest my radio but nothing. I’m going to change the fuse tomorrow hopefully that works but fuse looks good. Not sure what to do if the fuse doesn’t work

And I checked the fuses they’re not blown, just installed today and it was working fine although i made the mistake of connecting the grounds 🥴 but it was still working went to put in reinforcement bolts for the bracket and the screen just went out

From personal experience ove owned this radio for quite some time and have only reset it once. If that isnt the solution for your black screen then you may have a faulty head unit or a cable isnt plugged in correctly would be my guess...

There is a little pin hole on the left side. Just stick a paper clip in there and hold down for a few seconds to reset it.

Mines still won’t power up unless I pull stereo out and disconnect wires and fuse on the stereo itself. Any clue????

Mine was bass. It's a automatic shut down to protect the stereo from blowing or damage
@@kelinakay7023 why the bass?, I was moving the bass in my stereo and the next day the black screen appeared.

the pin hole is just a soft reset. For a Hard reset you need to remove the negative battery terminal for 15 seconds.
