Kapha dosha is defined by the characteristics of cold, heaviness, stability and dullness. If you have a kapha constitution or kapha imbalance, this video demonstrates how you can customize your yoga practice to encourage the opposite qualities that naturally bring kapha back into balance. By adding the qualities of heat, lightness, mobility and sharpness to your practice you can reestablish your natural state of health and well-being.
To determine your Ayurvedic constitution visit www.banyanbotanicals.com. Ayurveda and Yoga expertise for this video was provided by the Ayurvedic Institute. For more information on their AyurYoga program and workshops email ayuryoga@ayurveda.com

We are so sorry that it took us so long to see that you had left this comment for us, which we appreciate! You've probably learned a lot in your studies since asking this question, but we recommend taking breaks if poses are too difficult or not doing full extensions if it feels painful.
