I've retested the Lithium Trim Cubes with some exciting new results: ruclips.net/video/XIQmYyA085Y/видео.html

    My dear Dmitry:
In my 15 years old Mercedes, I’ve tried with “normal” dressings in plastics that become gray, and none of them restored the color.
BUT, I wanted to see what happens with some ceramic coatings, and I bought the Carpro Dlux.
After cleaning VERY-VERY well, I applied the Dlux in the worst exterior plastic of my car: the windshield base (I don’t know the name of this part in my poor english, sorry), and the results are simply incredible: the plastic is black again!
I still don’t know about durability, I applied it 3 months ago, but as with the Fusso, I will tell you my impressions in the mid and long term.
Excellent vídeo my dear friend, kind regards 👍👍👍

Joaquin, great to see you again! I have used ceramic coatings on plastic trim before and I agree it can have a great effect. I used Adam's graphene on my truck's trim as well which has worked well. Great to hear it's working for you for 3 months so far, I'll have to try the Carpro out. I've only tried the CarPro UK so far.

Lithium states "250 washer guaranteed". I can only wonder how do companies test their own products.

Thanks for watching! I did hear from their team they think my sponge may be defective so ill see if the others are any better. In theory it’s possible as we see it with some coatings but who knows. Ill update if i find otherwise.

Good review! thank you for cutting through the BS. The only thing that has really ever lasted quite a while on vinyl trim for me has been cerakote. That stuff lasts me months but if you don't like shiny vinyl then cerakote is not for you because it is more of a restorative product.

Thanks for the tip Jeff, will try out Cerakote. Ive heard good things, but haven't used it yet. Thanks for watching and glad you liked the video!

I think you would be really happy with it especially if you're restoring faded vinyl. Stuff lasts 4 months on a daily driver then Central Texas summers. Poor boys also makes a good one. Thanks a lot Dimitri I really appreciate your channel!

Graphene is known as a superconductor, it transfers heat very well, but it has to transfer it to something, it will not absorb and hold the heat itself. Its a normal property of graphene, but its also very finicky.
It's exactly as you said, technical and I highly doubt they are using it in a way to even remotely benefit from it. I work with computers for a living, graphene is a common tool for this industry (graphene sheets) placed between a CPU, and the heatsink. There is also other better options like thermal paste, but yeah I got a laugh when I heard you read about it, we actually use it in this industry.
There use is not applicable as you need pure graphene (99.9%+) to transfer heat effectively.

Thanks for watching and good seeing you here again. Yep I've seen the graphene sheets for heatsinks. Never tried them myself, but from what I've seen as you said they didn't seem like they were better than paste in terms of heat transfer. Totally agree with you the heat has to go somewhere.

The old standard wins out. Some of Adam's older formulas still out perform despite being older and reformulated many times to comply with VOC standards.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised as it is an old product. That being said it was crazy how much they all faded in one wash. Will test more in the future. Thanks for watching!

Need to try on old faded plastic, not new looking plastic. It's about restoring not making it glossy.

Heat dissipation with graphene is a joke in car detailing you need a single layer lattice of graphene for high conduction a properties.. so it's not a case of too thin, it's more we haven't come up with a way to create the lattice layer on installation from a liquid.

Did you wait 8-12 hours on the lithium. It states to wait

Gina, I should have been more clear in this clip but similar to my wax and coating videos I let the panel cure for 24 hours. I retested the product a bit later, turned out Lithium had some defective batches. The one that worked in my bag worked very well. Just several didnt work at all due to the mfg defect.
I did mention a day to cure at 5:17. You can also check out my second video that retests it.

Thanks for disproving the claim that graphene products do nothing to reduce temperature. Anyone from a scientific/engineering background knows this is nonsense given how thin the layer is. It's a shame to see car care product manufacturers making these claims which clearly they have not proven. Whenever I see that on a product, it tells me that all the other claims they are making about the product are probably unproven too, and I will not buy that product.

Thanks for watching, glad you liked the video. I agree and can't personally see how this would ever work to prevent the part from heating up compared to an untreated section. I always hope such claims are a result of misguided marketing attempts, but surely some are doing it on purpose too.

You can’t compare a nano quart ceramic product vs a water based dressing solution. They’re not even in the same ball park
