It will last a good few weeks to a month. Water behavior not as good as their graphene tire shine, but what I like about graphene vrt is how it gives off a nice natural rubber look instead of satin or gloss like most shines do.
Carpro Perl is my favorite tire dressing. It lacks in durability but cleaning my wheels and tires is always part of my weekly car wash routine so I just reapply it 👍
Having good results with Lone Star tire dressing. Two coats lasts for months. I'm in northern California so don't deal with snow & road salts, just lots of rain.
Another product I've used is the Turtle Wax hybrid acrylic Tire coating, the matte sheinlook only last about a week, but I've noticed it's hydrophobic properties last 2-3 weeks. Not a bad pickup imo.
Yeah all I've been using is the turtle wax hybrid acrylic tire coating, on my car it really last a long time, And for the price it works better then all the more expensive one's I've used lol... I'm definitely sticking with it🤷🏽♂️
I've had great success with their original VRT for many years. I don't usually use it on tires that often as I have dedicated tire dressings for that. I do however use it on WeatherTech floor mats as well as outside plastics and trim, and tonneau covers. I'd really like to try this to see how well it performs. Like most detailers in PA, we see how tires take a beating especially during the winter months.
Another great video Brian definitely like there graphene tire dressing. Longevity isnt a big deal for me as I apply after each or every other wash. Ease of application and look are what I look for in tire dressings.
Lone star tire coating is the best coating i've ever used. Last months and months and you can get high gloss or mattte. Look it up and do a review please!
Iv gotten 3 solid months from lonestar on aftermarket offroad truck tires. Truck washed once a week on average. I'll even touchless the tires with break buster and have gently agitated when needed. They stay clean and maintain the natural look. The satin will fade but the clean rubber look lasts. Definitely worth trying to anyone interested in a tire coating. I have compared ot to Adams tire armor which does well, and waiting to compare against Black Rhino Shine. Another smaller company with a Great owner.
I still have some Adams dedicated tire graphing dressing and it’s not too bad however the price seems to be sort of expensive what’s been working for me is the turtle wax hybrid solutions graphing acrylic tire shine, for the price per ounce it’s hard to beat however application for me to sort of tricky I’m trying to find that fine line of glossy but not too glossy, I prep the tire using odorless mineral spirits first and then I finish up with some McKees tire rubber cleaner, then I apply the turtle wax to coats five minutes apart and I noticed the same thing you’re noticing Brian the longer you let it sit especially overnight the better it works the next day I come back and level it out with the microfiber….
I use many Adam's products but this wont be one of them. I got a bucket from Walmart $20 Jay Leno stuff and the tire dressing vinyl dressing it came with was surprisingly decent be neat if you did a review
Brian if you haven't tried it already, you should give Adams all purpose exterior dressing a try* it's pretty good. I like it because it's acrylic and gives nice durability while being pretty easy to apply evenly. Edit: I accidentally a word. ;)
I'm thinking that Carpro Darkside is a better overall product, Lasts longer, same application process, longevity test is 2 months or more, even with weekly washes. I could be wrong, but I do not think I am.
How does this compare to the Adam's Graphene tire dressing? Seems like the usual adams/chemical guys thing is to make multiple products do the exact same thing but have a different name
Aw elixir is nice but pricey. I prefer by weekly maintenance so anything past that is good for us. As far as longevity. Ease of use no sling and a Matt\ satin finish are my must haves.
As far as Adams graphene tire shine and vrt shine about a month or so on trim or until the next wash. Graphene shine until the next wash give or take. Not something I prefer to use in the business stand point but in a pinch it works
I enjoy the small foam blocks......www.amazon.com/Autone-Contour-Dressing-Applicator-Polishing/dp/B07RTG6F7F/ref=sr_1_16?camp=1789&creative=9325&keywords=tire+shine+applicator+blocks&linkCode=ur2&linkId=a7ac6dfc2de7953a208d4d16d4b19e17&qid=1677968814&sr=8-16
I don’t think any coating can last long especially months or even 6 months like some claim, like you said the tyre gets abused a lot, stones are hitting it non stop and pure abuse from the road so can’t expect something to last months
I've had a better experience with their Graphene Tire Dressing.. up to 3 weeks in a non rainy climate in So. CA. For those who wash their car every two weeks or more and scrub the tires and apply a dressing, why is durability fussed over? It should be about the appearance imo.
Any VRT users that can confirm durability with the audience?
You can ask Aaron Burkett about Cristal products made in Puerto Rico that is tire dressing I think the name is Untouchable
I’ve been using “regular” VRT as my go to dressing up until recently. Lasts no more than 2 weeks in southeastern PA. Thanks Brian 🍻🍻
@@1stfrompuertorico568 Untouchable crystal is my favorite! its my go -to
It will last a good few weeks to a month. Water behavior not as good as their graphene tire shine, but what I like about graphene vrt is how it gives off a nice natural rubber look instead of satin or gloss like most shines do.
A week max but I use the car wash twice a week.
I have borrowed the Adam’s Graphene Tire Dressing and after a month it still beads during the wash. Life in Texas weather shows good results
Carpro Perl is my favorite tire dressing. It lacks in durability but cleaning my wheels and tires is always part of my weekly car wash routine so I just reapply it 👍
Agree
Thanks Brian!
My husband likes the Dura-dressing but is on the hunt as well.
Adams graphene VRT looks good and smells even better. CarPro DarkSide is my new favorite.
Having good results with Lone Star tire dressing. Two coats lasts for months. I'm in northern California so don't deal with snow & road salts, just lots of rain.
Adam’s Tire Armor small bottle expensive but will last 6 months in Canada for sure if you clean your tires at least 3-4 times ✌️🇨🇦👍👍
I’ve always been interested in this for the darkening effect
Thanks for video Brian. It seems to take a lot of product to make it around the tire.
Always great videos, information and thought provoking. Thank you sir.
Like how the tire cleaner worked can’t wait to see that. And I am with you can never find a good tire shine and I have tried a lot of them
Another product I've used is the Turtle Wax hybrid acrylic Tire coating, the matte sheinlook only last about a week, but I've noticed it's hydrophobic properties last 2-3 weeks. Not a bad pickup imo.
Tires still looks deep black for a long time also they're easy and cheap to maintain
Yeah all I've been using is the turtle wax hybrid acrylic tire coating, on my car it really last a long time, And for the price it works better then all the more expensive one's I've used lol... I'm definitely sticking with it🤷🏽♂️
Tha k you Sir, like always you’re looking out for us. Much appreciated.

Thanks Brian! Don’t worry about repeating yourself. It’s appreciated!
I'm favoring Carpro Perl. Nothing blows my socks off, so I stay with it. I use it 50/50 dilution. It works.
Another great video Brian definitely like there graphene tire dressing. Longevity isnt a big deal for me as I apply after each or every other wash. Ease of application and look are what I look for in tire dressings.
I usually coat with mckees tire coating and then top with their graphene tire dressing every wash. My tires stay black and satin year round.
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Acrylic Graphene tire shine and coating is a fabulous product. Lasts 6 weeks doesn’t sling looks great
Optimum Tire Protection and Coating is my go to, lasts a year plus.
I've always wanted to try Optimum tire coating. I'm currently using Lone Star with good success but may try it in the future. I love Optimum products.
Prep and application take time but seeing how long it lasts it's worth it
Lone star tire coating is the best coating i've ever used. Last months and months and you can get high gloss or mattte. Look it up and do a review please!
I've also having good success with Lone Star tire dressing. Seems to last quite a while.
Iv gotten 3 solid months from lonestar on aftermarket offroad truck tires. Truck washed once a week on average. I'll even touchless the tires with break buster and have gently agitated when needed. I am enjoying your testing of tire dressing. It would be helpful if you ranked the products tested.
Let me get a few in....then I will start rating them.

Awesome vid Brian!!
Fireball ultimate tire coating satin finish lasts around 4 weeks approximately 2 coats you might get 5 to 6 weeks 🇨🇦
I use many Adam's products but this wont be one of them. I got a bucket from Walmart $20 Jay Leno stuff and the tire dressing vinyl dressing it came with was surprisingly decent be neat if you did a review
Thanks for the great video and the info keep it coming!!
Awesome video and product review brother
Thanks 👍
Hello Brian. Could you do a video on how you would use touch-up paint for chipping on a ceramic coated vehicle please.
Brian if you haven't tried it already, you should give Adams all purpose exterior dressing a try* it's pretty good.
I like it because it's acrylic and gives nice durability while being pretty easy to apply evenly.
Edit: I accidentally a word. ;)
I’ve used regular VRT and I thought it was good, surprised that this graphene one washed off in one go around
I'm thinking that Carpro Darkside is a better overall product, Lasts longer, same application process, longevity test is 2 months or more, even with weekly washes. I could be wrong, but I do not think I am.
Agreed
CarPro Darkside
I like using Soft99 Tire Black Wax.
Nice Defender!
Still like Gyeon and Carpro nice video
How does this compare to the Adam's Graphene tire dressing? Seems like the usual adams/chemical guys thing is to make multiple products do the exact same thing but have a different name
I use Garry Dean's Tough Tire Gel, it can get me 2-3 weeks not exaggerating at all.
Do they make anything for Vinyl wrap. Specifically a satin wrap. Seems like there is a void in that segment.
Great video buddy tfs
Aw elixir is nice but pricey. I prefer by weekly maintenance so anything past that is good for us. As far as longevity. Ease of use no sling and a Matt\ satin finish are my must haves.

Hi Brian, What product(s) you used on that Range Rover because it looks beautiful. The tire gel looks great too. Thanks Again. 👍
Our Blue Collar 1 and 3. apexsurfaceprotection.store/
What pressure washer do you use?
Ultima Tire & Trim dressing is the most durable I’ve tried on tires. Not as durable as Ceracote on trim however.
Original VRT still works for me until it rains. Does better on interior surfaces.
Seems ok! That Griot 3 in 1 Wheel Tire and Matt cleaner sure is foamy!
Its not too shabby....video coming soon.
Brian, what applicator do you use to apply tire dressing’s with. TIA
Looks like the Adam’s foam block
I enjoy the small foam blocks......www.amazon.com/Autone-Contour-Dressing-Applicator-Polishing/dp/B07RTG6F7F/ref=sr_1_16?camp=1789&creative=9325&keywords=tire+shine+applicator+blocks&linkCode=ur2&linkId=a7ac6dfc2de7953a208d4d16d4b19e17&qid=1677968814&sr=8-16
Cover all ,
Stoners tire shine. Long lasting
I don’t think any coating can last long especially months or even 6 months like some claim, like you said the tyre gets abused a lot, stones are hitting it non stop and pure abuse from the road so can’t expect something to last months
Lovestar tire coating lasts more than 6 months. It's amazing, look it up!
I've had a better experience with their Graphene Tire Dressing.. up to 3 weeks in a non rainy climate in So. CA. For those who wash their car every two weeks or more and scrub the tires and apply a dressing, why is durability fussed over? It should be about the appearance imo.
When it comes to appearance...I like this as well as CarPro Darkside.
I can let a vehicle sit. But only during Motorcycle season. LOL
How does this stack up to the P&S equivalent?
I will start to rete them to give you an idea.
Gyeon tire
I've tried many... my new hope is darkside
I’ve heard that name darkside, who makes it again? Thx
Carpro
@@aliaskink Okay, I gotta try it. I like Pearl, but I need to try and find that longer lasting tire product. Thx
@Tundra Whisperer I've tried them all. Honestly my choice for now is cheap. TW Graphene Acrylic tire shine
@@aliaskink oh yeah…what kind of life are you getting with that one? Thx
This is disappointing to me as I have to pass. There are cheaper products which will outperform this product.
First!!
Like most of not all the Adam's products less than awesome
I used this product as all of Adams line. The regular tire 🛞 shine is better in my opinion ✊
