  • We were lucky enough to be shown this Shoebill by some local fishermen; whilst we were watching it a juvenile Shoebill flew in and settled down approx. 100 yards away; if that wasn't enough a third bird flew behind the one in this video. Privileged.

      I totally agree with you. Such a unique species. If I remember correctly, 30 - 35 years in the wild.

    This is probably the closest thing left on earth that resembles a dinosaur, they think dinosaurs may have had feathers, well here is a perfect example.

      The species are thought to be 35, 000, 000 years old and, as you say, show that connection to dinosaur.
