That Dave Collingwood really stood out to me. I’ve never even heard of it but it sounds a lot like the Istanbul 30th anniversary.

Great comparison, and even more than the cymbals themselves, I truly enjoyed your drumming. Very tasteful and inspiring.

Great demonstration! I appreciate how you play the smaller crash cymbal in each take. It is fascinating to perceived tone of the crash cymbal changes, at least for me, as the tone of the ride changes. It's a reminder how important it is to think of set of cymbals as a group working together.

I play on a Dream Bliss ride at a jazz program (College). It has a very trashy wash and the ping that simply has no cut and it can not be heard in a big band. I also listened to copies of this cymbal locally. To me the variation in these Dream cymbals of the same model appear to be quite wide. Accordingly, I would recommend purchasing them only if you can hand select one from a local seller that has several in stock.

I sit behind my kit and i pear out over internalized arguments over cymbal choice, i hear me playing. The countless stops at small-town thrifty stores, pawn shops, and music stores. Then you find that spot ....
Roach and Clarke developed a flexible, flowing rhythmic pattern that allowed soloists to play freely. This also created space for the drummer to insert dramatic accents on the snare drum, crash cymbal, and other components of the trap set.

Wow, thanks, really great demo, nice transition edits, and glad you crashed on them as well, good demo consistency, nicely methodical. I think I like all the Istanbuls, by the way whats the 12" crash on your left?

To my ear, the Dream Bliss would work best within music, in different genres. Stick definition, and a definite, harmonious voice.

Not certain what the point is to use post-factory modified cymbals and use them here....they no longer represent the maker's cymbal...nevertheless, interesting.

Okay if you were going to have a gig with John Taylor RIP and David Holland Meaning a modern Piano Trio but more chamber post Bill Evans less McCoy what would be your ride cymbal. Let me phrase that a different way: What ride demonstrated here interfears least with an acoustic piano?

Only issue i see is that most will never be able yo duplicate these sounds since they are (several) modified. So yhe comparison is mute.

Great, The authentic in Turkey made rides I love the most. Can I ask you which snaredrum you use here? Size/deep, wood, tuning batter/reso. Type of hoops? It sounds really great. Open, dry, not to much overtones.

Cymbals sound great but holy shit your snare is so out of tune lol. That nasty overtone you get when you start smacking your snare is cause the heads are unevenly tuned.
