Yes - stopping here and there to dangle a knee has helped tremendously. Last week before I searched your channel my knee was worse than ever, now feeling better than it has in years - shoulders, copd, cardio, now this - thanks again, Doc. You're truly the best!

Dr Bergman - thank you the knee regeneration advice I followed it and it works!!
I had badly damaged my meniscus, lcl and chrondal flap from lifting my left leg in a cricket balling action and it went pop - gosh the pain - I was in agony. At hospital in the UK where I live I was put in a leg brace and was told by the Consultant I must have surgery to clean out and clear up the damage and I need steroid injection and my knee will never be the same again. I did none of what they recommended as I was aware of your knee regen exercise as I have followed your Channel as an early subscriber when you had only 2000 subscribers!!
I used the weights on the legs and a hot water bottle and after 3 months FULLY CURED and my left knee has regenerated with no signs of knee degeneration when previously they said I had it due to my age, I was 52 then. I can run jump up and down and run - key too is a good diet, if you don't do that progress will be much slower.
Hope to visit your Clinic in 2025 Dr Bergman & I want to meet you as my Chiropractor there! You da man!!

I encountered multiple knee and ankle injuries during my younger day while playing soccer and volleyball games. It was painful even going up the stairs and jumping, running or going for long walks. I have heard Dr. Bergman mention this simple enough exercise during an in-person seminar in HB 11 or 12 year ago, and this is the exercise that brought my knees back. I also supplement this with walking backwards which was also huge in my recovery.

Very good information. I had a Surgeon Remove all cartilage, according to him. He was NOT supposed to Do this.... I asked him "Will it grow back?" . He replied "No." And that put me into Shock, since I presumed it Grows...
15 years later I had exams, to see Why I had pain and my foot turning outwards.... No Cartilage grown back AND half my knee knuckle bone WAS missing! Jagged 45 degree bone and rest broken away! My Bursa was extending to the rear, being squashed and pinched. I stand as my Normal, and I over extend TO rear of body. All kinds of problems, after Surgery. Gangrene in my bone, I am working on clearing now, 45 years later. The Doctor read to me the Exray Dept Report? He stops and looks up at me and asks, "aren't you only 39?"....Yes. The Exray Dr stated the Condition of my knee IS Seen in Exrays of 90yrs Old or Older....
Exactly! I have a VERY Unique situation! Zero cartilage, 20% Knuckle to walk on, Gangrene hiding IN leg bone under Staples, Ripped Tendons, Pinched Damaged Bursa.
Your Statement "it can Heal!"? Blows my.mind! I thought so!!
Surgeon not only Lied TO me, but Set IN Motion, a subconscious Curse TO Prevent a Regrowth!
Negligence 200%, with Compounded Years Side Effects. 😢

My knee hurts inside the joint, but the bigger problem is pain and muscle cramp in the outer rear of the calf. And from there knee gets stiff.
Either way, that exercise you gave looks great. Looking forward to getting some benift from it.

Hello Dr. Bergman, I am a huge fan of yours. What do you recommend to patients who had partial ACL tear in the past and are going through meniscus injuries. Can they use the dangling exercise or is it not good b'cos of the partial ACL tear ? You probably have answered the question somewhere but basically want to know alternatives as meniscus and osteoarthritis is a big issue for people with ACL tears and if there is anything specific that can be done to regenerate cartilage for this group ?

    Pretty great Q&A.
By your logic, why would you not just prescribe assisted/regressed full knee bend? Does that not do the same things you allude to here? (While being something that can be progressed.)
In other words, assisted full range squats (or a unilateral version called the assisted ATG split squat). Is the assumption that the average person just can’t access this position?

Hi Dr Bergman, About the hips as long as their is some movement than their is cartilage right? So then it can be regenerated? Is there a way to lift the body so that the legs, sacrum , lower back hang for a few minutes to allow the synovial liquid to increase in the back, sacrum and hips? I was thinking if their is no way to hang right side up -upside- than perhaps the inversion table is the way to try to get more synovial liquid to the lower back, sacrum and hips. I am doing right now intermittent fasting by having one eal a day. to try and generate my own stem cell production to heal my body. Also I just nw started taking black seed oil for two weeks now and notice it to help bring back some healing for th carpal tunnel numbness in my hands. I really appreciate your opinion.

What exercise would you do if you have no ACL (my replaced ACL broke 5 years ago)?
Due to an injury I had 4 knee operations by the time I was 20 35 years later I was told the only solution is TKR on both knees. I am really concerned as I have now issues with my feet, calf’s, knees, hips and lower back. The TKR will not recover the 35 years of compensation.

If you are looking for a local chiro, here's a list of questions that could be helpful.
A good chiro should be able to answer YES to 5 of them.
      1. Do you take x-rays?
      2. Do you get spinal listings off of the X-rays?
      3. Is your goal to restore normal function or only symptom relief?
      4. Do you take post-x-rays to document the structural changes made?
      5. Are you familiar with repairing disc injuries? (this requires a high level of skill)
      6. Do you work with post-spinal surgery patients? (this requires a high level of skill)
      7. Do you work with Pediatrics and the Elderly? (this requires very specific techniques)

Please for your own sake, don't go down that road. Back in the early days of COVID I was impressed by the way he talks , etc. As I spent more time listening to others and reading the comments section, I could see Campbell is a sham.
