@@UnfinishedSwan if you plan on making videos on newer versions use flashback if youre making videos on older versions use replay mod. Flashback doesnt update to older versions meanwhile replay mod does BUT flashback is 10x better for cinematics
bro we don't even need OBS to record minecraft no need bandicam, we can just record minecraft in minecrafta nd edit video in minecraft and even upload video in minecraft. you could technically be using everything in minecraft I actually done that before

I stopped because I gad SO much glitches I was shocked when people said bedrock is the issue. I was having chunks get aboslutly screwed and random things turning up in Java. My big question is what bitrate do you find acceptable for minecraft videos ? And what type of bitrate (CBR, VBR, or else) ? And what file format to use between mov, mp4, mkv now that OBS is making progress with handling mov and mp4 ? Like, it's taking so much place, big files are tough to work with because Premiere is writing a lot, which is not very nice for an SSD, so reducing that file size is a must i'd say.
Honestly I used to record in 2k and I had no issues with file storage (I do have 2 hard drives tho) but for video stuff I use mp4 and 6000 Kbps haven't had any issues with it so I doubt that I'll switch any time soon. Dont know if this was helpful so if you have any more questions feel free to ask!
@tramonik oh thanks, i was wondering what quality was acceptable for YT minecraft content, and I was doing tests recording at like 30Mbps at 1080p (making a 10GB file for 30 min of footage), which you made me realize it might be a bit overkill 😅 great video btw !

@@LeonLucena most of the mods I use are on 1.21 so thats why I included it. You can still use replay mod but flashback is just straight up the better mod

Flashback is so new they only have for the newer versions 1.21 - most of the mods still is on 1.20.1. Really sucks.
