Yes, two great songs. I love a good collaboration. I hope both can learn from one another, and take it to even moore dizzying heights in the future. I'd love for these two to work on something again. Great review(s) . TY.
I had no idea the other artist with Ano was the singer from Yoasobi. Probably because I have only heard Idol from them. 😏 Thanks for the informative video!
It is all down to taste. One song is fun and almost epic while the other is a little bit dull. I am sure they will continue to carry on with the collaboration. On the other hand this idea that collaborations have to be way out there and offer something new that would have been alien to either style or singer. Is not always the path to go on. Mind you as a few reviewers have done for other colabs. You know who you are. There is time for the 180 degree opinion turn to turn up. I personally like the singers and the songs. Just one song much more than the other. That wont change.
That's absolutely fair, I think the songs are different enough that there is always a bit chance of one being more to the tastes of the listener than the other. Regarding collaborations, my main reason for stating the need for a difference is because we at least need to hear what the benefit of the collaboration was. In this case, I think it was pretty subtle but very well executed. As you say though, it will always run the chance of one song being loved more by any given listener :)
Heya! TK from Ling Tosite Sigure wrote the Ano ft Lilas song, and is a long time collaborator in their circles. Ano penned the lyrics. Lilas's song was entirely written by her for the pair. I thiiiiink I mentioned this in the video, but if I didn't then I made a massive error :O
Sorry, not totally sure I understood this one :) . So where you referring to ghost writing on the songs? and artist branding? Would be interested to know :)
Thanks very much for this Howard and welcome to the International ano fansite

That was a very interesting perspective about back and forth collaborations . It seems a great idea.
Thank you!! I really hope we get more collaborations like this :)

But who writes the music for them? Thats a question.

So who’s composing the song?
What is the story of the song?
I’m way too dissolute with branding when someone ghost write that shit.
