The only thing I felt was wrong on Milan’s part was not being patient with Miles telling them all. I feel like anyone in the LGBTQIA+ can attest that coming out is something for all of us to be ourselves and we all should be able to do it how we want to, yes some helpful and earnest pushes from friends can be a factor, but at the same time, it has to be on your own time and when you feel you’re ready. I just felt like Milan was not trying to understand that whatsoever and that to me is one of the common reasons that people don’t come out.

For real. I know gay people who’s family have supported them from the beginning. They never had to “come out”. Even if the family is super religious, they support their kids. I know some who’s family makes it extremely hard for them to come out safely. It’s different for everyone. I do agree that miles shouldn’t be trying to keep Milan hidden. But I feel like people who are out shouldn’t expect people like miles to show them off like a trophy. They are conflicted with themselves and just like a straight relationship you can’t expect people who are scared and/or insecure to love you if they can’t be true to themselves.

I want people to understand something about love. See, my mother had always said, "Hate is such a strong word". Don't say you hat someone, because entails murder". Now, love is the opposite. So, when you love someone? No one, except that person is able to change how you feel. Not your parents, siblings or anyone for that matter. Love is a VERY strong emotion that makes people do things, they normally wouldn't do. Love is what makes people happy more than money.
