    You saved me allot of money. I followed your video advice and completed the replacement of the indicator module in 1 and half hours on my Corsa Gamma pickup. Thankyou so much for doing this video

    Great. It worked! There were actually seven screws in the electrical box, not six, in my case. Not a problem but I thought it worth mentioning.

    Must be my lucky day. Got a bit frustrated trying to locate the relay on the wiring diagram of my Holden Combo (equivalent to the Vauxhall Combo/Corsa) - as a last resort, I thought I'd check RUclips - and there it was - your video, with EXACTLY the same problem! Will pick up a relay first chance I get, and see if I have the same success as you did. Oh, and I wouldn't have looked next to the battery for the relay - why the hell didn't they put it in the fuse box with all the others?? Perhaps the need for a good seal? Cheers, and thanks a lot!

    Hi
    Great video would you mind telling me what sealant you used please

    • @fixdatcar7281
      @fixdatcar7281  3 года назад

      I used a non setting mastic sold for use on caravans. The product name on mine is "Seamseal CV", but any non setting bedding sealant will do.
      It can be cleaned off with white spirit.

      I'm not familiar with the specifics of your car, but from what you say would suspect a similar relay fault.

    Hi, So only my right back indicator is not working at all, do you think changing the relay will also help ? Thanks.

    • @fixdatcar7281
      @fixdatcar7281  Год назад

      This is unlikely to be a relay fault. Start by changing the bulb a checking contacts. Then check the earth connection to the cluster. Good luck.

    My girlfriends 2011 Ford fiesta 1.6 ztech S has a hard time starting she has to rev as the exhaust sounds like it Struggles to even start it's a beefy exhaust but it's not a normal sound when starting.. The Rpm gauge goes up by itself when she starts it sometimes..like it revs it's self lol Also has a ticking noise when turn the ignition off like tick tick tick tick tick tick quite quickly from the front of the car. Even when it's just been idle for awhile. It also has EML on and sort of goes into limp mode. It's go no give..
    It had a recent timing belt done.. Since then it's been shite. All problems started.. The engine management light was on ever since the timing was done.. The fault codes were showing 6 sensors think it was crank shaft A cam shaft ect ect all sensors were changed ect ect they was all changed., all 6 sensors and then the fucker wouldn't start at all.. No power no electronics nothing.. Then it started working again.. also to mention there is a crack in the exhaust.. Oh and the coolant is having to be topped up all the time.. The exhaust has had a minor repair but still cracked... 🙄 And I think my Gf said something to do with the baffling or back box... Needs changing the exhaust rattles when u shut the door. 😂.. I know fuck all about cars but wish I'd taken up mechanics instead 😂 think it needs the scrap heap

      Ouch! This may be multiple faults. I wouldn't spend any more money until you have a clear list of diagnosed problems. - You'll need to know that repairs are a viable option?
      A starting point would be to check the timing (in case the belt has gone on wrong) then a compression test for anything more sinister. Don't worry about the exhaust backbox just now as this shouldn't affect running, just noise.
      You will get many fault codes for different things when something significant is out of kilter, if you can put the central item right most of these will go away.
      Good Luck. - I have my fingers crossed for you.

      Indicator relays are available from most parts suppliers. If you struggle try searching ebay.

    Some car makers as Peugeot hide this relay position as they are some top secret or they put them in shitty hard position

      There can be many reasons why a modern car will cut out like this. Some are complicated.
      Might be best to seek expert help for an in depth diagnosis.
      Please be careful, a car that randomly cuts out can be dangerous and in my opinion best not driven until repaired.
