Will this work on my vauxhall meriva 2015 please
This is actually my car is doing, also the right side. I'm going to try the and replace my relay. Thanks you!
I worked! Thank you so much for the information.
Hi, I have the 4 cyclinder 1.2 Corsa C, and have a leak somee´where on the pump. Your video has been great to give me confidence to show it not a too complex replacement. One question, is how does taking the belt off impact the timing? i'm rather nervous of making a bugger up to the engine
No worries over timing. The camshaft is driven by an internal chain, so the water pump belt is auxiliaries only, which do not have timing.
@@nickrafaluk9177 thanks so much for the confirmation! this is what i sensed, but was struggling to be sure.
That went in easy I usually have to fight with it to go in
Sorry u dont get what you putt in rear light in that 2 little holes, you shape that rubber from the star of video and just make cross shape, or you buy something els?
Where to find details of what is recommended by the manufacturer for i10's on which dates?
Please what’s the fuse code for rear indicator
Gert: thanks so much for your information, saved me a lot off money, did not need to get a autolec .
eeprom menu not showing for Me
Hello, can tou erase a programmed transponder with opcom, how? So that you can reprogram it? Regards
So the v1.99 wont work?
Cant see difference between doing it on car or off except for access
Mine is on my passenger side. This is a great video
very helpful, i have the same corsa c i want to change the clutch system. i would be very happy doing mine under your watch and guidance, well explained and you got vast knowledge we all can drain from. thank you for your help.
Hi, I was just wondering, is there anyway you can put the list on so I can copy it? Thank you so much.
Great video, had accumulated the parts but wasn't sure where the pollen filter was located! I'm doing the brakes all round- OSR is a nightmare- spent yesterday (in vain) tring to wind back the caliper piston but considering the mess of the disc and pad (really uneven wear to the inside surface maybe 50% of the smaller radius) I think the caliper is actually goosed and is not applying pressure square to the disc face and is jammed, so have ordered a pair and will just change both starting with the NSR and do a fluid flush as I go. Front pads are not bad but the discs are pretty worn (not sure what the recommended thickness is) so doing all 4 corners. In your video you say the brake master cylinder services the clutch too- any advice on flushing that if I'm doing the brakes, never touched anything clutch related that doesn't have a cable!! For the oil change I always run the car beforehand to get the oil warm and runny, and on the refill use an old cut off plastic bottle for a funnel as it's always windy here in Scotland and that catches the oil as you pour and makes a right mess!!
Great video sir thank you, it gave me an indication where to look, mine has b3059, do you think its close, ie one of the pins? Cheers i know you but this video long time ago, much appreciated
Excellent breed much and get more who share out there
Where you buy the stuff
Absolutely a great explanation 👍
Hi, Thanks for this video, I need to do this. Same leak in front. If you remember, did you manage to remove seal and re-seal the servo bottom part without taking off the brake servo? do you also need to remove the pollen filter housing to do this job?
Did the cat come back out alive?
How old was the car when you need to do this service?
Get a funnel 😂
Super labombastic fantastic skolastic❤
I need to start ignition againn why this is happening
There can be many reasons why a modern car will cut out like this. Some are complicated. Might be best to seek expert help for an in depth diagnosis. Please be careful, a car that randomly cuts out can be dangerous and in my opinion best not driven until repaired.
Can anyone tell me why my car grandi10 is stopping while driving middle of the road... Sometimes works and repeat same previous.
Where can I find an indicator relay
Indicator relays are available from most parts suppliers. If you struggle try searching ebay.
Question why do some mechanics recommend you should throw clean oil in the oil filter
When an engine is started on a new filter there is a very short period of low oil pressure, some people think this can be mitigated by pre-filling the filter. In my opinion changing a filter is messy enough without also spilling fresh oil. I think the gains of pre-filling are negligible.
Good video
Good video & good clear english to understand!
You dont need to hold the trip button down, no idea why you are diing that? You can access the EEPROM menu without doing that.
The advice about OpCom is incorrect. Later versions are perfectly capable of pulling the security code as long as the correct, matching firmware is used. 131223 works with 1.60, 160115a, 181022a and 210406b all need firmware 1.67. This only works though on the Corsa C, Tigra B, Meriva A and Combos built on the same platform. If you want to get the code from other models you need an OpCom Advanced unit.
I would have removed the airbox for better access to diagnose and repair then ran the engine, on this engine it was just the thermostat housing so easy cheap repair
Does it work for Astra J?
Many thanks for this - perfect. Just got lumbered to service my daughter's i10!
You saved me allot of money. I followed your video advice and completed the replacement of the indicator module in 1 and half hours on my Corsa Gamma pickup. Thankyou so much for doing this video
Thank you SO much mate, this helped me identify the moisture problem in my corsa
brilliant vid
Good video. Thank you.
Thanks again for this final stage. Viewers should be aware there is a small but extremely vital seal that sits inside the plastic elbow and is on the inner bell housing side. Forgetting to check for this could result the gearbox coming off again.
Awesome piece of detailed video with very useful explanations. I've been rebuilding one of these engines from the bottom up and when I got to the new clutch stage I was pondering how to locate the plate. I was scratching around for a suitable bush for the crank that I considered grinding into 2 halves then picking them out afterwards. Your 15mm pipe idea was genius, so I went with that. I used 3 off 11mm I/d x 3.5 section O rings, they're easy to fish out afterwards. Why on earth would someone design a crankshaft with a bore larger than the clutch spline !!!
Great. It worked! There were actually seven screws in the electrical box, not six, in my case. Not a problem but I thought it worth mentioning.
Very Good !
Hi, So only my right back indicator is not working at all, do you think changing the relay will also help ? Thanks.
This is unlikely to be a relay fault. Start by changing the bulb a checking contacts. Then check the earth connection to the cluster. Good luck.
My 2016 i10 has only done 28000 miles but is obviously out of warranty. My garage wants over £200 for a service and MOT but I only do 3000 miles a year. Is it worth me trying this myself, considering I won't get a service stamp in my book which might reduce the value at the time I come to sell it on? Any advice on this angle please?
Hi do your own service and keep all paperwork . This video is brill advice done this for years . Garage does difficult jobs water pump . belt change. Have a go start with air filter .
Hi thanks for this video, I'm trying to diagnose a very very slow coolant leak on my 2014 i10, so I'll have a good look around the water pump to see if there are any problems there. A quick question on coolant, I'm struggling to work out what coolant I should be using, the manual is very vague and just states that it must contain ethylene-glycol, but says nothing about whether it should be IAT, OAT, HOAT, P- HOAT etc. My local garage had a look at the coolant leak and replaced the thermostat 'O' ring, but it's still losing coolant - they put in a blue coolant, but without knowing what it is exactly, I can't top the coolant up properly as it goes down. The car doesn't overheat at all, so I'm not suspecting head gasket failure, more likely a small hole in the radiator, a duff cap or a hose leak somewhere.
The coolant I use is "Orange". This is suitable for modern Aluminium Cylinder heads. "Blue" is old school stuff that you might use for a cast iron head, such as a classic car. Finding a leak is largely through close visual inspection. Usually there is a white flakey trail or a visible drip. Be sure to check behind the water pump pulley amongst other places.
Thank you for the video, my indicators working again, after replacing the relay with new one. (OPEL CORSA UTILITY)
Very good explanation and a good video!
Put some duct tape around the metal base of the brush so you won't mark any delicate surfaces
