    Personally, I think The Swarm is neutral. It is the perfect coaster to start off with when you are ready to take on the big ones. It doesn't have much stomach drops or airtime, but I enjoy the loops and the inversions as well as the intricate aesthetics.

      I agree that it’s a great coaster to start people off with - it isn’t overly intense as you said! I do enjoy the inversions and the theming too.

      @@Q4Coasters I have such a soft spot for Colossus. I’m glad you like it too!!! 😀

    I think Saw often gets hate for being rough but on my latest ride (not a wheel seat) it wasn't as bad as I was led to believe (plus I'm short so over-the-shoulders are a pain). Colossus is underrated but as part of project sparkle it should have got more theming or partially re-themed and fully repainted imo; plus it needs new restraints, the heartline rolls in OTSs aren't good, loose-fitting vests would probably work better than lap-bars for them though. Just thoughts that I need to spit out somewhere lol

      @ThrillsandForces  Месяц назад +1

      I’m glad that you had a smooth ride on Saw! As I normally go in the single rider queue, I end up on a wheel seat so I normally get a rougher ride.
      I wish Colossus did get more theming as part of project sparkle too. The fresh paint looks nice, though I was really hoping they would add some celestial theming to the queue.
      I think loose fitting vests would be perfect for Colossus - I actually did a video fairly recently on the kind of restraints I think Colossus should get!

      @chocolatechip8407 Месяц назад +1

      Yes I watched it not long ago and it led me to reconsider - I used to think that lap bars were almost always the best restraint but I was wrong. I still have yet to ride Sik though :D

      @ThrillsandForces  Месяц назад

      @@chocolatechip8407 I’ve heard that for the majority of the layout Sik is more comfortable with its lap bars. It’s just the final five inversions which are uncomfortable!

    Completely agree with you on Colossus and Saw! Colossus is honestly so hated for its roughness but honestly I don't find it rough at all and quite enjoy it! Saw would definitely be so much better if it wasn't as rough. My ears felt like they were going to bleed and I came off with a headache for the rest of the day last time I rode it... It just takes away from the whole layout itself sadly...

    • @ThrillsandForces
      @ThrillsandForces  2 месяца назад +1

      Exactly! I find Saw to be way rougher than Colossus. The potholes during Saw’s layout never fail to give me a headache, especially if I’m sitting on a wheel seat. The layout is brilliant (apart from the final inversion) it’s just a shame the roughness takes away from it.

    • @ArmouredOnion
      @ArmouredOnion 2 месяца назад +1

      @@ThrillsandForcesfor me it's the opposite, had a headache after colossus, but Saw was as smooth as the swarm, just really depends if you get a good ride or not, i just find Saw has more padding on the restraints too.

    • @ThrillsandForces
      @ThrillsandForces  2 месяца назад +1

      @@ArmouredOnion I agree that the restraints are better on Saw than Colossus. When looking at the roughness on Saw, I think it really just depends on the day. Sometimes it’s running well, and other times it gives me a headache!

      Mate, my ears were pissing out of blood when I came off my first time riding…. Tipping it down, got a face full of water on the lifthill, then that fucking pothole bashed my head against the restraint so hard that the seat looked like it was used for one of John’s games, it was covered in blood.

      That’s great to hear! It’s weird how sometimes Saw can be quite smooth, while over times it can be very rough.
      I agree that taller coasters can more easily become overrated! It’s probably because they look more impressive.
