HOLY CRAP I've had the beautiful piano for almost OVER 3 YEARS and I've been DYING to make songs like this but never managed to figure out/read the manual😭😭😭😭 THANK YOU!!!
Thank you , this was so very helpful! I bought my DGX just a couple months ago and I find all the features overwhelming and the instructions manual just as intimidating. I look forward to learning more through your videos. 👍!
Thank you so much for this! I just got my DGX just over a week ago, and this has been super helpful! I've subscribed, and I intend to watch your videos.
Can you listen to what you've got recorded already while you're adding another channel? This is exactly the kind of help I've been looking for since I bought my piano about a year ago. Thank you
Hi, can you please make a video about recording a style loop, with let's say a drum beat from a rock style, then you had your own bass and own piano on it ? Thanks a lot **
I just bought the DGX670 via Sam Ash’s going out of business sale. It’s my first piano and I am super excited to experiment with it. Hoping to check out more of your videos on it soon! Does the recording feature need a usb drive attached? I didn’t get a manual, so I have no idea what the ports are for at this point!
@@mikedemaria167 You have to put in a USB Thumb Drive, then click on the "USB Audio" button. Make sure you have the "MIDI File" ready to play before hand. Now, under the USB Audio section, click on the Record Button/Icon then quickly press the Play button for the MIDI file on the upper left side. I've done this several times, it works perfectly! Hope this helps!
Thanks a lot. As I have learned you cannot record more than three lines although you have 16 lines (channels) Is this correct? That would be really helpful if you let me know. Thanks.
I have a question for you... When i record a Song i must start with all the instrument in the same time or i cud start , for example, with the piano and in the middle play guitars end Just at the end close with a sax ? I have understand that the record start when you toutch the piano .... Is possible decide when the record start with an instrument ? I hope that you have understand ... my english Is soo terribile !! 😂😂
When I press "tab" to go to user, it only has the "piano room" folder, nothing else. Is it going to overwrite something inside that folder if I save, and is there any way to fix this so it doesn't do that?
@@teaediberidze1758Maybe one day. Id have to find a time to re-learn how to record the score on that piano properly, make a video, and then find away to send it to you. (Which I might not be able to do) if you subscribe you’ll get a notification in your RUclips inbox when I upload videos. If I’m able to make the video I’ll come back to this comment section and let you know lol.
Hello Aidan. About how many, or much space do you have to save songs. About how many songs can you save? It may be listed In megabytes. I imagine the length of each song would be a factor as well. Thanks for your videos.
When plugging in the USB, look at the dash and see what it says. If it’s not recognizing your current USB, try using a different USB and see if that works. If that doesn’t work, maybe try resetting your piano!

Dude this is a huge help! I know I could have (and should have) read through the manual but your short demo was exactly what I needed 👍🏼

You can play that midi file back and at the same time record it to a USB thumb drive as a WAV file.
I couldn’t figure out how to convert it to a wav file.

Which settings have you done for your CFX Grand Piano? It sounds much better than the default one
Can you run audio vocals through this like you can on the dgx660?
Can you accompany the recording by playing the piano live?
Yes

Hello! Don’t take my word for it but from what I’ve read, the DGX-670 has 80 minutes worth of recording storage.
@@Aidanbolling8781 Wow! Ok then thanks for that information. 80 minutes is not too bad after all.
Hi i have problem my DGX670 is not detecting the USB, what can i do

try reformatting the USB drive on the DGX (not on any other device)
@@DonaldLL825If it doesn’t recognize the USB drive it’s not going to be able to format it.
Is there a way to both loop the audio recording, and cut the dead space at the end?
Not with out a laptop and editing software
can it record you playing over a song?
Yes because you can import songs from your iPad and then they are inside the keyboard.
is this a joke?
jesus, this is complicated
