I saw this live at the online NAMM and I’m back to here him sing this again. I’m loving this like any top hit on the radio. This sounds so good!! I’m actually seriously considering buying one and never thought I was in the market for this kind of keyboard. It was great presentation! Unique, fun, and memorable.

Well....Gabriel is a great player,but writing a cheese-ball song about the keyboard itself,is really corny.I much prefer Bert Smorenburg's demo's,as his energy is infectious and he just plays,leaves out the singing and gives his informed opinions about the specs & quality...while shredding the keys.I miss that dude....don't know what became of him.

Or, based on reviews, if you buy mail order, MAKE SURE THE SELLER WILL TAKE A RETURN if you hate it or it does not suit your needs.
looks so good, the only thing i see wrong is they should have upgraded the action, still the GHS which over time it seems to wear faster, i bought two dgx 660s one i bought in 2016 and the other 2017 and both have action problems within 2 or 3 years of owning them, the action problem im talking about is like "sticking keys or noisy keys", they should've put at lease the GH3 action, but still i like it and it looks great. Im still getting it.. lol

This is one of the BETTER demos I've seen. HOWEVER, I would like to see a uTube of HOW to set the Play list up -- OF HOW to get to the 100 songs that are already in the instrument, IS there such a uTube?

Hello how can I record the styles as midi in the computer is there a way that I can input the notes of a chord in the computer software and play that back and triggers the style automatically without me playing the chords in real time?
How to connect external stereo speakers to the DGX-670? Is it enough to place a TRS stereo connector with mono L and R division at the headphone output? or will the sound be of poor quality? It really seems crazy to me that the dgx-670 does not have an L and R output and this is the worst of the limitations of this keyboard.
How do you open a Midi folder on the Yamaha DGX670 from a USB Stick ? I have a Master midi folder with other sub folders and I don't know how to open them
@@voxart8z180 It has USB MIDI only, no standard MIDI 5-pin DIN connectors. This means it will work with any computer and phone/tablet DAW software, but not with ordinary MIDI devices (without a USB MIDI host)
surprises me that they wouldleave off the things the SX ranges have - flip up screen with touch and x-y joystick to name a couple of things but then I guess you would pay another couple of grand for those few extras on the arrangers.
Thanks for the video. I can record my audio file with style to the USB. But, when I transfer the audio file to my cellphone or my computer, I cannot hear the file with quality sound. Even, I cannot hear the recorded style. Would you please lead me how I can record the audio files that can be transferred to other devices with high quality?
How do I keep the fill from playing at the beginning of a song I play? Example, I play a verse w/o the style, then when I start the 2nd verse, I want A to start playing when I play that first note. But when I hit the sync start button to start the A style as I play that first note, it adds a fill, which is intruding on the first measure of that 2nd verse.

Hi Gabriel, I see the DGX 670 can record 16 tracks of Midi, but does it allow me to combine my audio on a track to go along with those 16 tracks of midi? Basically like they way a computer based sequencer works.
The DGX670 isn't even available in stores yet & you want one with a touchscreen?? Well....maybe in a year or two,a touchscreen will be included...but expect to pay around $1200 for the next DGX model...
@@prodmince If & when touchscreens are added to the DGX-series,the price will jump to around $1,200 & most everyone will complain about paying anything more than $800.I would be fine with this(provided that the display screen is 7",as well as having a fully editable song sequencer.)
why would you want a touch screen? Touch screens only bring bad ergonomics and endless menus. They are also always dirty, scratched and dont last as long as simple screens. I dont buy a piano every 2 years, I want it to last
@@Ali-xx9sj Sure the DGX660 is a Great Model and it's got a great Design But there's one thing to remember that it is a seven year old Model now and has finally got an Update a seven Year old model means, Yamaha's Older AWM sampling Technology compared to the Pure CF engine in the 670. So, the 670 will have the better audio and clarity leading to the much better Piano Experience... and If this matters to you, the 670 has a FAR BETTER display compared to the 660. I suggest you save some more money, hold on until it's release and buy the 670 Hope it helps!
Unfortunately Roland doesn’t have anything in this class. The closest thing to this was the Casio CGP-700 for competition and it’s a shame more companies don’t get into it, as I would buy a Roland or Casio like this.

I don’t see any external out connection, except for headphones. How would it be hooked up to an external amp for performance?
That's a deal breaker. Using the headphones line out won't provide a clear signal.

My old DGX 360 (yes, old!) works as a midi controller. I bought an adapter for my iPad and use it to record in GarageBand.

just sent new p515 back for the dgx 670 and is 600 cheaper for practice is better than p515 for my purposes

This commercial sold the piano to me, but it has poor electronic components inside and breaks fast. Also the sound from the phono plug is horrible.
