    1. Bangladesh only achieved its independence in 1971, where as india achieved its independence in 1947, 24 years head start.
    2. Bangladesh was ruled by West Pakistan until 1971 and 70% of the earnings from exports from East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was spent on Islamabad and West Pakistan. This and the language issue was the reason for the civil war.
    3. When the Pakistanis were kicked out Bangladesh was devastated, 3 million of the educated / brightest were killed in operation Searchlight and EVERY industry was destroyed nothing standing, then the following year a further 1 million were killed in the worst cyclone in South Asia. Then 2 decades were lost due to coups and military rule.
    4. Bangladesh only started to grow when economic liberalisation began in the early 2000's, so in reality we've only been developing for about 20 odd years.
    5. Bangladesh is now massively investing in infra, bridges, nuclear power, deep sea ports, rail network, roads, airports, gas and coal power, etc etc The number of mega projects is astounding in such a short time.
Bangladesh focused on the RMG industry initially so as to give the majority of the population a way out of poverty, its a bottom up economic development process. Next industrial sector we will focus on is the leather/synthetic goods market which is bigger then the RMG market, then the focus will shift to the white goods market and pharma followed by the ICT and electronics market. Its a structured process followed by most of South East Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea etc).

Wow! you will surpass chung for sure.... as if we need to learn all these things... you would have been finished had Indira Gandhi not intervened...Due to you, we made bitter enemies with pakistan, and till date we are being bothered by their terror machines... you forget each time that we fought the battle of longewala with a heavyly armed pakistani side, with only 120 men under Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri (see the border movie, it is free on youtube and understand our sacrifices on account of BD creation). Then started the Kashmir issue and then we had terror attacks all over the nation... remember the 26/11 mumbai attacks? Also remember that you are lucky to be insulated on 2 sides by a friendly nation who absorbs shocks frm a giant enemy, which would mean you would be drained of resources in trying to defend. Now coming to our policies... we have a very long term vision. Read the book India 2020 by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. We are now exporting defence equipment. Machineries are being exported since ages. IT , software services export have been the highest and we have a solid manufacturing base... when I was a kid, since then I have seen automated manufacturing plants which have automation equipment manufactured by us... So we dont have much to learn from you. Lets be humble and accept what is good about others. Your nation is great. Ours is also vast and with greatness everywhere.. our institutions figure in top 100s..... we have 10 nobel laureates of Indian origin and many are Indian citizens. The secret of success is research.. that is how china is growing and crossing barriers. We too are having a strategy but our leaders need to put even more focus on education and make our institutions count in the top 10 and not 100. Hope you understood.... Lets be respectful to each other ... asha kori apni buztepartesen...

But also remember that majority od Bangladeshi textile industry buy indian raw cotton which for them is cheap because of less logistics and reliefs india has given to Bangladesh. First we were defeated by Muslims then by Christians, then by Communists, and now the Muslims are above us in every regards. Middle East is richer than us, China is richer, but we Indians are still sleeping like there is no competition.

In contrast, Bangladesh's exports to India stand at approximately $2 billion. Some argue that India should impose a ban on Bangladesh's garment exports, but it is essential to consider the reciprocal action that Bangladesh can take. If Bangladesh were to enact a ban, the repercussions would be severe, leading to the loss of millions of jobs for Indians. Be careful what you wish for!

India will also face major resource shortage due to overpopulation and face the wrath of climate change. India's resource base isn't large enough to support an economy too large either. Also the West and China can sabotage India in a jiffy if it grows too much. Also most Indians don't have unity and are still backward minded and tribalistic. Corruption and being unethical has become so deep rooted that it's become impossible to fix it. Also, the number of talented Indians leaving India is increasing at an alarming rate every year and many of these Indians who left India brag about India being the next big thing which is extremely comedic. To conclude, India may improve in some areas, but it always stay a corrupt 3rd world uncivilized sh8hole. Hence, forget your dreams of being a developed country pa jeets. India is an utterly failed experiment.

There are many factors you have to understand:
      1. Bangladesh only achieved its independence in 1971, where as india achieved its independence in 1947, 24 years head start.
      2. Bangladesh was ruled by West Pakistan and 70% of the earnings from exports from East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was spent on Islamabad and West Pakistan. This and the language issue was the reason for the civil war.
      3. When the Pakistanis were kicked out Bangladesh was devastated, 3 million of the educated / brightest were killed in operation Searchlight and every industry was destroyed, then the following year a further 1 million were killed in the worst cyclone in South Asia. Then 2 decades were lost due to coups and military rule.
      4. Bangladesh only started to grow when economic liberalisation began in the early 2000's, so in reality we've only been developing for about 20 odd years.
      5. Bangladesh is now massively investing in infra, Padma bridge, nuclear power, deep sea ports, rail network, roads, airports, gas and coal power, etc etc The number of mega projects is astounding in such a short time.

    • @ZihadTarafdar
      @ZihadTarafdar Год назад +1

@@damiendehorn6350aptly said. I would like to add two more points which is on Bangladesh's favor. 1.Bangladeshi people's resiliency to tackle any calamities, be it natural or economical.Historically this region has been oppressed by different rulers but we found our way to overcome those and prosper. The advancement it showed just in 50 years is no easy feat. Its true we are close to a saturation point in terms of overly dependance on RMG sectors and its high time to diversify the export. Steps are already being taken but it sure will take some time to see the impact. But I am hopeful we will find our way one more time. Despite a little hiccups here and there we are still navigating way better than Srilanka or Pakistan during this crisis period.
      2. Women empowerment. Our women are our heroes. Despite being a conservative society what our women are doing to boost the economy is compared to none in our region. When you have maximum participation of workforce in your economy it solidifies the development progress positively. As the popluar saying behind every successful economy there has to be participation of its women. And we are doing great on this.
lets rise and prosper together. Real progress is not possible if it doesn’t happen together with our neighbours.

How can someone improve infrastructure without money? How can someone focus on Manufacturing without skilled labor and What will someone do with the products without a demand?
Our Textile industry fulfills the demand of European and Western markets. Western countries Invested in Textiles and that is how we grew. Now that we have some money, our government is focusing on improving Infrastructure. Our Pharmaceuticals and Electronics are developing and doing pretty good. Let's see where we head from here.

Garment industry provides job for the millions, and that is no mean achievement. And their people are very ambitious. they are in every European countries, and even in South Africa. Many of them live there as illegals but I appreciate their courage. I do not see such courage among the Indians except the Punjabis and the Gujaratis.

Since the definition of our constitution the import export duties of doing business haven't been revised even once the importing taxes are so high that most companies avoid doing business with india. But i have high hopes that modi govt. will amend these laws someday

I have seen a trend that they just seem to never criticize India for more than a sec and if they do they immediately take it back. I think it' okay to criticize our country as a citizen to some extent if we need reforms

Development of Multiple expressways between states will surely increase the Logistics speed in future. Also we need to work on our raw material production and manufacturing hubs need to be set near ports for faster Logistics.

@girirajgupta2105 really tryna find out the "joke" part tho!
In that analogy, poverty or massive covid induced mortality (in india) must be a joke for him too.
Quite a nihilistic world view I must say!!
