Hosting Olympics are quite costly and in the recent history we have seen it not generating profits and no long term benefits it will generate employment but that will be for a shorter time, Olympics will bring infrastructure development but we have seen how india works in this department which is fill of corruption, mismanagement and more over we are not a sporting nation yet to utilise all the sports venues after Olympics are done. Even here in Pakistan, we do appreciate the strengths and efforts of ISRO and the fact that India is a major player in space, automotive industry and so much more. Olympics is a disastrous event by all means, the same money can rather be invested in so many individual sports. Though Pakistan is in no way a position to hold such an event in decades to come; but even if there was ever a possibility, I would have been staunchly against it. Hosting Olympics are quite costly and in the recent history we have seen it not generating profits and no long term benefits it will generate employment but that will be for a shorter time, Olympics will bring infrastructure development but we have seen how india works in this department which is fill of corruption, mismanagement and more over we are not a sporting nation yet to utilise all the sports venues after Olympics are done.
