  • Learn about Spark 3 Mail app in this video from a presentation I hosted where I took an in-depth look at the powerful features in Spark 3 for Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I have been using Spark Mail for several years now and it has helped me stay on top of my email.
    What we'd cover? I started out with an overview of Spark 3's smart inbox for categorizing and unifying emails, priority inbox, email snoozing, sender grouping, and use of AI. We dove into customizing Spark's home screen, using email templates, creating email links, and a tour of Spark's settings. I also compared Spark versions, pricing, and discussed how Spark can help achieve inbox zero. Throughout the video, I answered common questions about Spark from the audience on topics like Gatekeeper, archiving, rules, platform availability, organizing mail, setup on iPad, folder syncing, text size, Setapp support, and more.

    thanks for this. I've been using spark for several years and just finally updated to the paid version thanks to 50% off black friday sale. I am now using the NON PREVIEW way of viewing and its so much more relaxing not to see the content beside the inbox list. I do have LOTS of folder on the left and I use that for important emails, receipts, work receipts and emails with clients. It just makes me feel more connected to those emails then just hitting done and letting the program archive them. The ai is very cool and I'll give it a try for sure. Appreciate your detailed video.
    I do miss the ability to change the size of a photo right in the body of the email, you can do it for attached images but I don't see anything for dragging and dropping into the body (which sometimes I prefer)

    have been a spark user for years and this new update has forced fed soo much imo. One thing is they removed the ability to keep your unreads at the top of the inbox so now they're all scattered through out.

    Your tutorials are awesome. I also find you have the perfect voice for ASMR related stuff. Might I suggest you look into that. But thank you for the detailed explanations.

    Does the free - or paid version allow you to install the app on multiple devices - phone, tablet, laptop, desktop? Does it work with POP3 and IMAP?

    I used Apple mail for about a month, 11 years ago. I've tried Bluemail and then Spark (free version). If I understand correctly your first listed con about it matches mine. I cannot stand the sidebar always there, not being able to have each/any selected email open in a separate window, from there zoom or shrink as desired. I have not figured out how to at least scroll side to side, in order to read full sentences. Currently using on ios 16, and Monterey on MBP M1 Pro. Am I missing something, or is this simply not available in view features? Thanks.

    Great video Dan thank you. I believe you mentioned that labels can be allocated to emails (similar to in gmail) but I can't work out how to do that?

      I spoke too soon. Classic Spark Mail handled them (I believe). It is on the roadmap for the new Spark 3 from what I've read. 😊

    Hi Dan, thank you for this great tutorial. I have a small problem. I don't have that black folder on the left side. I can only see it in a narrow minimalist style. How can I enlarge it permanently? Thank you for your support

      Look for the side bar icon. It's the icon directly below the word "edit" on the top navigation bar in the video. Your side bar icon will be in a different position since it's minimized.

    Spark is an awesome app, and I only dislike that it is way too expensive.

      They are adding new features every month or so... they just added Reminders integration, so maybe Calednars isn't far behind. 😊

    I have access to Spark with my SetApp subscription. Is that the full paid version?

    • @DansTutorials
      @DansTutorials  5 месяцев назад +2

      The Setapp version (which is what I use) is the full version of Premium Individual. Spark Mail also has a Premium Teams for working with multiple people, Setapp does not include this version. Hope that helps! 😊

    Does Spark work with both iPop and IMAP emails?

    • @DansTutorials
      @DansTutorials  5 месяцев назад +1

      I believe it only works with imap. Most email services use imap now, and if they are using POP, they will usually have an imap offering too. I'd check with your email service that is POP and see if they offer imap too. 😊

    I've used Spark for several years, and now it is becoming unusable. Does not sync properly in my Apple ecostystem. Struggles authenticating accounts that have previously had no issues, though nothing has changed. Incredibly disappointed as I enjoyed Spark, but it's time to move on.

    Spark has useless avatar icons for every email just causing noise, you can not select multiple to delete useless you open ONE and then play around with key commands to select others - I prefer gmail on the web - I can choose select all - look at the list un-select the opens I want to save and press delete an BOOM there goes 500 emails of junk without the hassle. Mostly I stopped using it because of the stupid icons next to each email - I need to see an avatar of a senders initials ... why? It is a useless feature - I don't need a pink icon of my brothers initials next to the email - it is useless, what is the purpose? Just noise.

      I believe you can actually remove the icons on Spark in the settings. I quite prefer them myself.

    For $60 per year when there are so much mail client available for free and comes with Office application bundles, Spark really doesnt have anything special. Not that is worth $60 bucks PER Year.

      Yeah. For 70 bucks you can get MS office suite and storage along with outlook which is a very good client.

    Not good for office use, the compose mail experience is really lacking, more like an email screening app, not worth the price
