  • Do you hate dealing with email? I never found a good email workflow, until I discovered HEY.com.
HEY lets you screen email, just like screening calls on your phone. If you don’t want someone to email you, just give them a thumbs down-such peace of mind! HEY also has a built-in “reply later” feature that makes batch-processing email a cinch. And it lets you “set aside” email for quick access later (handy for event tickets and boarding passes).
There’s more, too-watch to learn why HEY.com changed the way I email. And find HEY over at hey.com.
(I am not affiliated with or sponsored by HEY. Just sharing an app I love.)

Very helpful, Peter. Thank you. I'm giving it a try purely based on your recommendation!

Exactly the same for me. Once you are intoo the thing, it's "impossible" to stop Hey. Same for Basecamp.

This was a great presentation but the price is too high for private use (in my opinion)

So, how safe is this email app in regards to our data. I read somewhere where with the Edison email app out data wasn’t safe.

Were you able to solve the issue of the avatar not showing up on other mail apps?

do you have any recommendations for alternative but similar Mac email apps/clients? Hey seems wonderful but too expensive for me as a student. I've been using Spark for years but is missing many of the features you described.

The latest version of Spark is the closest I know of.

    Hi Peter,
I am thinking of moving from Google Workspace email to Hey. However, I am not sure I want to use multiple different solutions for Google Meet, Google Calendar and Google Docs. ( I can move Google Drive stuff into Basecamp files ). What do you use for these requirements?

    • @PeterAkkies

For calendar I use Google Calendar. For personal documents, I use Pages. And for shared docs, usually Google Docs. It doesn’t bother me that that’s not all on the same platform.

@@PeterAkkiesI’ve thought about Hey, but how do you get “rid” of emails to your gmail account for calendar appointments? Surely once someone has your email address from your gmail calendar, they will continue to email you there?
Also, sometimes when you sign up for conferences etc they require a business domain name. Does hey get counted as a business email domain in your experience? I also try side hustle ideas with domain names and with Google workspace I can attach limitless domain names.

You’re saying you never analyze that data collected by your newsletter manager?

Very rarely. Must have been at least a year since I looked at it.
