Finally! A wedding videographer talking about the r5c's battery solutions! Thank you. I was on the fence between battery grip and battery bank. Just one battery bank, can't beat that price value vs many canon batteries
Thanks for making this. Just curious, do you use ever use a gimbal with the R5C with the additional battery? Would it fit? If so, which one would you recommend?
I can speak from experience as a wedding videographer, while putting a full rig onto a gimbal seemed like a great idea and it does indeed work with the Crane 3S as it supports up to 14lbs. The problem comes in if you are going to be holding the gimbal for an extended period of time like a 30 minute ceremony that thing will absolutely kill you trying to hold it. Lol if you want a stripped down version with just the battery bank, body, and lens, then you would be in a lot better position.
You’re a natural man. Hope your channel grows fast. Any regrets with the side handle purchase? I was thinking about getting the tilta one that supplies power to the camera via usbc and also has a start stop record button too.
Enjoying this so much. Thanks for taking into account my comment on the review video. Also featured hahaha . Keep on posting more bout the camera. I will do the same once I get mine.
That final rig is perfect! You've done a great job keeping your cables tidy. Im used to manfrotto base plates, does arca swiss manage with the size of the final rig? Does it feel sturdy?
the arca swiss has been great! it is sturdy and helps keep the rig small! the bottom of the cage is actually acra swiss as well so it made a lot of sense!
I bought a $30 powerbank from amazon and got 6+ hours. I also have a FXLion D-tap battery but never got a chance to use it because the power bank lasted me the whole day
@@romashx The one I have is Safuel Power Bank 45W PD but its currently unavailable at Amazon. I did find the same power bank but its under a different brand name "INIU Portable Charger, 45W PD".
Thanks for the video. Is the shot gun mic picking up the fan noise of the R5c? e.g. in a quiet room. With the lack of IBIS, do you experience jitter due to micro vibration of the hand?

Until that 1 battery goes bad.
Not a fan of gimble? I’m in debate but really like your setup
I wish this video had been recommended to me yesterday 😩
Quite a big monitor for a compact vibe no?
That minimal rig setup is perfect! Do you ever worry about rain/weather elements with that exposed Anker Battery?

Great job. What lens did you shoot this video with? What camera did you shoot this video with? Did you use luts? Do you ever use a gimbal?
Nice setups.

Nice rig! Definitely check out the fxlion batteries though, I love mine and they offer a more secure v-lock or gold mount battery option.
What was this shot on? Nice grade!
Thanks for the video. When inside for exposure do you use false color or what to get such nice exp. balance?

Does the power bank charge the camera via USB type C? I understood correctly
@@romashx yes it does. You'll need to put a battery in the camera as well.
@@chronocross85 What characteristics of the power bank are best suited for this to work well?

What ND filter is good for the r5?
Dope 💪🏾
Any power bank will work with the camera via USB Type C?
So long as it provides PD with enough Watt Output. the power bank I use outputs more than enough. minimum I believe is 25W for the R5C
Anton Bauer battery is usbc to power 8k
U didn’t talk about lens’s and filters and all of the rest
