I was first on the scene for that 890. We were stopped and talking when he came by looking like a million bucks. We came up over the rise and found him knocked out. He came around, didn’t want us to call 911. We called it in to the number we had for Control, left a message, then I headed into Baker to let Organizers know.
I’ve been in rides with him before and seen what a great rider he is. Sometimes things just go sideways. He wouldn’t let us call 911 either, but we told his wife to take him to the hospital after we loaded him up. Thank you for calling it in. It takes a village. Thanks for watching.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful. The ride is always a super fun one and you should absolutely give it a try! Thanks for watching!
Weighted down with all the gear and bags, I have to ride that way all the time in case I have to self-rescue. But I don't mind as I use it as an excuse as to why I can't learn pivot turns 🤣
Great vids. I've done B2V every year since 2018. I've been watching your sweep videos. I'm starting to get more involved with D37 Dual Sport and hopefully start riding sweep for Dave Spencer. Any advice/tips/ for a future sweep rider?
Thank you! It’s such a great event! As for advice, knowing Dave is great, ride with a solid crew, carry what you can to fix and tow bikes, (you don’t need to do the fixing, but sometimes the right tool will get someone back on the trail and save a chase truck) run radios, expect to roll in in the dark and cold, it’s a long day. Thank you for getting more involved!
Thanks for the video
You’re welcome Dave! Hope you’re doing well brother!

You ended up finding some pretty dope streamers for the handle bars.
The coolest streamers in the desert! Thanks for watching!
Great video. I'm planning on giving this ride a shot this year. It looks like alot of fun. I pick up helpful information from your commentary.

That’s also why I can’t pivot turn. 😜
