Nice video. I like that you didn't feel the need to add music. The engine and general sound of the machine working is all the music that's needed. I hope you get your wayward camera mount under control. I almost bailed early in part one due to the slanted view and too-low angle of view. Glad I stuck with it. That looks like a hell of a fun ride.
Great video man, are you doing the ride this year too? I was looking to tag along a small group who’s done it before I didn’t wanna go solo my first time. I’m down for hard ways too!
I like the garmin but the screen is small and hard to see sometimes. This year there are no roll charts so you will need a GPS for sure. Good luck this year and I hope you enjoy the ride!
I am doing this years LBV ride and curious did you put a bigger tank on your bike or is there a stop on day 2? No way my 3.2 gallon tank will make 200+ miles.
Hey Hannon just watch your day 2 all the way, do you happen to remember what time you got to Sandy Valley last year, I heard you say you left Baker at 1000am. If you don’t remember not worries! Great ride! Hope to see you on the trail. ✌🏻
Nice ride, would love to do it some time. Were there many 2 strokes out there? I Have a Beta 300 RR and was wondering how it would do at an event like this, I have ridden it on many 75-100 mile events through woods.
That bike is a pretty stock 2019 Husqvarna 501. The only mods are a Scotts damper and a Seat Concepts seat. It has about 4k on the odo and has been a trouble free bike so far!
Lol man every video I watch of this there are always a bunch of clowns queued up in the MIDDLE of the trail in some of the rocky Little baby climbs. They just stand around with their bikes on kickstands middle of the line. wtf is that?

Thanks! I’m not a fan of music either. I like to hear the bike.
This is awesome content! Just bought a DRZ400 to do this next year.
That’s awesome! You’re gonna have a good time I guarantee it.
Yes I watched the entire video, because it was fantastic, so cool,
Awesome! Glad you liked it!
Nice! Triumph Guy @35:19. He went the Hard Route? Wild.
Yea that dude was tuff!
@@hannonenduro I filmed a bit of his bike close up and was impressed.
Right on. Thanks for visiting Sandy Valley. Come again.
Haha, I am watching now, looking for us.
Thanks for hosting!

Not riding this year. I sold the big bike! Maybe next year. I might go up and film you guys riding Rocky Gap this time.
Also are you using a Montana Garmin GPS unit? Do you like it?

I do run the stock tank. There are gas stops on both days so you should be fine. I think last year the longest leg between gas was 80 miles.

Nicely done! What gps did you run? Thanks for the post!👍
I use a garmin 66i for my rides. It’s pretty basic but it gets the job done and it has the SOS service just in case.
1:30 is me lol
That hill was a hell of a way to start the day!
@@hannonenduro I was looking for my lost gps lol
Did you ride that solo?
Yup! This last time I went alone.
How big is your fuel tank and what’s your fuel range on the 501 Husky?
I have the stock tank still which I think is 2.6 Gal, so with my riding style I can get around 100mi between fuel stops.
@@hannonenduro You guys have all sorts of places to ride off road out west enjoy,I liked the video wish I could do that run one day looked like fun

2 strokes do just fine, although I only saw a few. The bikes need to be street legal so that might play a factor.
Sick! Love it what a joy! What kind of bike are you riding? Mind doing a walk around and breakdown of mods to ride this run?

Hard enduro 😅
It’s ALL hard for me! Lol

There were a lot of folks stopped in the middle of the trail this year too.
