Best part about this is that Johnny ends up in the biggest stall 🤣 (the presidential suite at the front that usually fits three). Indeed fit for our little King 👑💜💜

Yes, Yvonne had gained a lot more confidence over time. I hope she will be able to return and continue what she was doing. I think she was really enjoying it and realized how much all of us watching were getting invested in everything happening at Stal G and now at her own stable with her beautiful little ponies.

Oh goodness, even in Stal G, Reintje enjoyed going into other people's stalls and pinching some of their hay! Though I see Pirkje was in her stall, so it wasn't her fault alone! Thanks for the name lesson. Johnny had a good old sniff there! Johnny is actually very beautiful when you move aside his forelock and can see his face. Very fine of face. Lovely to see Uniek in her prime.

Wow! All the little filly’s have grown up to now be having their own foal/filly! They are all so majestic and strong. It is my dream to have another horse one day and i hope it’s a Friesian .
I found out yesterday a family friend had bought a Friesian mare that was in foal a couple of years ago for her very first horse, and she ended up having a colt. I absolutely have to go see the pair, as well as a third horse she picked up and the one her sister got to . I suggest that they would have a great time doing this together and wow they really went for it !
I just wish I hadn’t hurt my back some years ago or I would be joining I’d be back riding again!
Thanks Yvonne for all the videos and well wishes on your recovery and to your very own stable as well! Btw you have the cutest little boys I have ever seen! Cheers to the rest of the crew at Stal G!!

This reminds me of when we had to bring in two mares every morning and grain them. Naturally, these mares were low on the totem pole, so that meant going out to the pasture and catching them and it was chaos trying to bring them through the gate with all the other horses trying to get in at the same time. I'm lazy so I decided to try something different.
I decided it was time to teach these horses their names, so I would stand at the gate and call them. At the same time, I used a long whip to back the other horses off (I never hit them with it, though - just dangled it in front of them).
I was so surprised. In less than a week, I could call these two mares and all the other horses would stand back while the mares walked through the group and into the corral. So much easier than going out to the pasture and having to catch them.

Thank you for the lesson! It’s similar to pronunciation in the German language (I took classes in high school).

I am David's wife Ingeborg , German and living in the USA. :-) Almost exactly like in the German language, except for the "sj" sound. We would say sss-jo and not sch-jo. Thank you; enjoyed it very much! I would love to visit Friesland and always had a soft spot for it even though I am form northern Bavaria. :) Your horse ranch is amazing and grand. and it appears as though your horses know it. Again, thank you for all the time you spend showing us around. I had to laugh when we got to Johnny's box. at the end..so typical male. Good thing you keep him away from all the girls so they don't have to look at him all day. :)

      Ah, sie sind Deutsch 😉👍🏼
Earlier my Deutch was better, so I'm going to type in English.
The Frisian language looks like the German language in many ways.
Thank you for watching the videos.

Sorting horses in their stables was never old - most of the times they were in mood and it was first try. Other day, some were very moody, so went visit the stables of others (if they have better hay than me!). And sometimes it was chaos impersonated. Good times :)
