    Number one thing is get into a house so you don't have to constantly worry about your apartment neighbors complaining. And get good sound isolation from the outside world so the birds outside don't take you out of the movie.

    Hey KPG! I have an SVS ULTRA Speaker 7.1.4 Setup paired with the DENON X4800HA. After going through the Audyssey setup, I've made sure the levels matched perfectly with TOPTES. Despite watching all your videos, I'm still struggling to achieve that "Big Immersive Sound" without relying on Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume (Light). When I don't turn on "COMPRESSION," everything sounds dull, lifeless, and lacks ferocity. Looking forward to more of your fantastic videos, and thanks in advance!

      It’s Denon and Audyssey issue. Get a device with Dirac with Base control and it will sound much better, trust me

      Turn off calibration and listen. Then turn it back on and listen. If things so better with Audyssey on then more than likely Audyssey is doing its job. Assuming your speakers and seating are in ideal locations. If all is correct, it could be worth going a step up in calibration like a Mini dsp or dayton audio's DSP and calibrating beyond what the denon can do. External amplification can help with less efficient speakers too. At that point if all else fails, it may be time for a different receiver.

      @whitecrowuk575 that's an incorrect statement; ignorant at best. Come on, man. Do better and be helpful. The first thing he needs to do is turn off Dynamic Volume.

      @@squared80 I do hear some can make audy work, perhaps it’s a higher version also that my x4700h didn’t have but to me it was sounding much worse with calibration than without. Only when I moved to Dirac that has changed. Audy doesn’t integrate subs well either, nowhere close Dirac level. If it was just my opinion I would say maybe I missed something but now seeing people comparing audy to Dirac and all saying the same reinforces my belief it wasn’t just me

    Hey just a quick question. What do you recommend between light grey vs white screen? I know you got a dedicated vid to show the difference but I wanna know what would you choose as someone who have been a serious nerd about this? I'm just projecting to my light blue wall so either would be better than what I already have.

    • @Kpaceguy
      @Kpaceguy  4 месяца назад

      I'm always going to choose gray no matter what my lighting conditions are or what my projector is. And combine that with ambient light rejections, its the best overall picture quality

      @@Kpaceguy thank u man I was thinking about going with the grey too.

    Hii. Just want to hear your opinion about top speaker and overhead speaker. Which is more immersive?

    • @Kpaceguy
      @Kpaceguy  4 месяца назад +1

      If you can place them overhead in the correct positions, it is most immersive compared to the top of the wall.

    Hi KPG. Love your videos.
    I have a 7.2.4 setup in my living room. Due to my layout, my Rear Heights and Rear Surrounds are close to the back wall. My back surrounds are 3ft 3inches away from my heights. I could lower the surrounds, to create a bigger space between the two, but that would place the surrounds lower than my seated headrest. Which placement would be more advisable for best overall immersion you speak about, or is it just a trade off?

    • @Kpaceguy
      @Kpaceguy  4 месяца назад +1

      Sometimes less is more. I'd go to a 5.2.4. For you it's a tradeoff. If you like a 7.2.4 and you have side walls, You can move your rear height speakers to the sides about the side surrounds since they'd be further apart from each other.

    • @Cat33733
      @Cat33733 4 месяца назад

      I came from a 5.1.2 where the heights are above me. Upgraded to 4 heights and brought the surrounds directly to the sides. This gave me better immersion, then added the rears. Would not go back to 5 bedlayer as I can now hear things directly behind now I have 7. So trade off it is with rear surround height level. Thank you very much for your advice.
