This is NOT a well known fact. Elizabeth and Alexandra were friends as well as cousins. Do you really think this would have been the case had Alexandra had an affair with Elizabeth's husband? Elizabeth would have banished her, instead she was clearly one of the family and performed decades of duties on behalf of the royal family.
