This is a great way to see ones skills and try to improve on any trouble spots - thank you! Also, it seems to take relatively little time, which is great when one doesn't have a lot of time to paint.

Hi Karen I absolutely love your idea of one colour. It really is a great way to learn about tones and shadows. I’m going to give this a go with a picture I took of some trees after getting annoyed that I couldn’t get the colours right. Thank you for your brilliant informative posts 😊
You are so welcome! So pleased this was helpful 😀
Great! Thanks a lot. I will try to draw it no doubt :-)
Thank you! Hope you enjoy painting it 😊
Thank you so much!! Lovely!
You're welcome, thank you 😊
Thank you:) so gorgeous your artwork
Thank you so much 😊
Hi Karin, I see that you often hold the brush quite high, is that better or does it not really matter.
It may be to do with the camera angle? Hold the brush where you feel comfortable. Try to avoid holding it near the top. So you can see what you are painting. Hope this was helpful 😊
@@KarenRiceArt Thanks Karin!
