    Australia was surprisingly very good in the forwards and breakdown area, they controlled Dupont very well. But slowly but surely, France came back in this game thanks to their bench. 3 or 4 years ago, France was often losing these close contests, since then, this team has created an impressive "hate of the defeat" mindset. South Africa next match will be a world shock in term of physicality.

    Tom Wright showed great gas to create the go forward after some skilful interplay and consummate juggling at the back, leading to a top drawer try - Union at its best. But to say he was an "NRL superstar" is like saying Liz Truss was one of Britain's great PMs! He joined NRL's Manly Sea Eagles in 2018, played 5 games, scored once - and switched (back) to Union in 2018! Penaud though ---- what a try! Bad luck Wallabies, too many penalties conceded.

    Jaco Peyper is probably ranked at the bottom of the refs. One should expect massive inconsistencies from him, like in this highlights package there are inconsistencies with penalising "the tackler for not rolling away". More and more northern hemisphere teams are using the tackler to roll into the supporting attacking players avoiding them from providing support. Evident in the URC and also in this weekend's international games. Why do refs allow that?

  • @speeddemon9555
    @speeddemon9555 2 года назад +1

    high tackle at 6.40, what a load of crap, this ref ( and other refs ) have no feeling for the game, laying on the wrong side of a ruck, yet the ball still comes back to the half back, penalty, should be play on, these minute infractions ( according to the rule book ) are what's ruining the game of rugby, rugby has become a bad game of rugby league with millions more rules and run by airheads that can't see that rugby as played 10 years ago was a far superior game to the one played now ( but still too many rules. ) minor infractions are not worth three point penalties, games are won and lost on stupid decisions by refs, ( some are obviously biased refs too )

      @@Trajan2401 They wear helmets because they actually play for an entire hour, in rugby for every five minutes of play there is 15 minutes of penalties and stoppages and sticking their heads inbetween others players sweaty asses in the dumb scrums..US football is basically the most advanced form of team contact sport, rugby is just a bunch of meatheads scrambling around for a ball in chaos and confusion with the occasional exciting breakout….which is why it’s considered almost as boring as cricket, another game I can’t watch for more than five minutes without falling asleep.
      Also the highest paid rugby player in the world gets paid less than $2 mill a year, there are US football players that make more than that PER GAME..and over two billion people watch the Super Bowl worldwide, the WRC gets a fraction of that.

    Rugby has become a BORING game of penalties, with occasional flare, if some individuals are in the mood! Change the rules. Assign loss of ground to penalties, instead of points. Teams will then make an effort to score tries instead of 'looking for' penalties and kicking 3 pointers the whole game. Penalty kicks are the death of Rugby.
