Il nous a écrit son vrai nom sur le tableau : ça occupait TOUT le tableau et ça parlait de "Celui qui vit à côté du petit pont sur la rivière, pas loin du petit bois où l'on peut chasser des sangliers et trouver des champignons quand on vient de... et qu'on va vers..., etc."

Against the South Africans during the last World Cup we lost too many points due to a lack of precision, we were bad in the Ruck, we were physically exhausted from the last 15 minutes of the match, all that at this level makes us lose the match. National french team has up and downs, but when they are in a good moment, they provide such beautiful and entertaining games. Maybe they can be first in the world on the "artistic" part of the game. There are other more solids teams. It s good for the entire game to have a an unpredictible nation like that, makes things spicy.

I'm French, and imo the ranking during this time period is as follows:

- AB #2
- France #3
- RSA #4
I know this is not the path the world cup took. But nonetheless, Ireland was just so damn good, a joy to watch. I remember seeing the AB-Ireland match, it was hands down the best rugby match I ever saw. A pure beauty of technical skills and strategic pressure. And even though Ireland did not win this one, they still appeared to be the favourite in every of their matches.
Btw, please remember that each of these 4 teams won and lost a match against 2.

C'était O'Keeffe qui arbitrait lors d'Angleterre-France (10-53). Personne ne s'est plaint ce jour-là...

C'est bon, juste Kolbe qui contre Ramos...il n'a même pas vérifier ce contre illicite à la vidéo...ce mec a assassiné notre mondial. M'en fout qu'on perde contre les sudafs, c'est le jeu et on accepte la défaite. Mais l'arbitrage pourri voulu par la RU est indigne d'une compétition internationale.
@@RemiRemicatch Rien que l'en-avant volontaire à la 7ème qui aurait dû faire 14-0 et les SudAfs à 14 pour 10 minutes et qui sur l'action suivante a fait 7-7 et les SudAfs à 15. Rien que la dernière pénalité SudAf qui aurait dû française (un peu comme contre l'Angleterre).

No one can deny they are a great side at the moment. But the best is nr.1 and nr.1 is the Springboks currently. Ireland are very, very close if not on par. I'd love to see Ireland vs Springboks when both sides are on their best.

Fabien galetier a rencontré l’arbitre Joubert quelque mois apres pour une reunion post coupe du monde et lui a demandé s’il etait satisfait de son arbitrage. Et joubert a repondu que non, il n’était pas satisfait.

Having the best rugby team is absolutely useless. Like in most team sports where there's a lot of money involved, what matters is cunning, rigging the matches, knowing how to be dominated and score with the least effort using an ugly game that throws the opponent off, etc. That's why the French will never win the Rugby World Cup-they're too much of aesthetes and respect the sport too much. Just like the Dutch will never win the Football World Cup, etc. It’s beautiful, but it’s useless apart from pleasing the viewers. In the end, the French will remain eternal losers. Sad but terribly true.
