The time for the French seems to have come. An insane generation of young players, Ntamack reminds me the flamboyance and elan of Blanco or Sella. And Dupont is a breed of player that I had never seen in my life.
Ntamack is in a league of his own, best flyhalf of OUR times. He may still live to prove himself the best flyhalf of ALL times. Time will tell.

I think the most impressive aspect of this match was that the All Blacks never once took the lead in this game. In the end the pressure just cracked them open. An awesome performance by the French rugby team.

French rugby at its glorious best. Ntamack’s charge out of his own end was inspirational. Penaud’s interception try was pivotal as well as there was a overlap for the All Blacks.

And yes i've seen ALL the Christian Cullen runs and ALL the Lomu runs and all Habana runs, they were running in the last 22 to ATTACK,(comfortable space) Ntamack was running from his deadline, to DEFEND (very uncomfortable space) His defensive run ended up winning the game. Big difference.
Ntamack's break is by far my favourite moment, even if Woki did not pass it to Penaud at the end, it was pure magic and in the right moment, just when NZL was putting the pressure on them. I lost count on the times I have seen this highlights😁

Just saw the most incredible run in 2022 rugby or any rugby for that matter, from Ntamack out of his own dead ball, second greatest wild run in 2022 , Woki.... Woki.... Woki..., A flanker running like an outside center and making a better decision on the day than any 13 in world rugby today would make, RUN IT IN YOURSELF. Ntamack's behind the line run and Woki's "fuck it, i don't need wingers and centers today" made my day. I'll support the Bokke all my life. We've got the best defence in world rugby, and the all blacks had the best attack in world rugby, however, i'm now convinced that the greatest rugby attack minded nation in the world today is France. Ce qui est incroyable c'est que l'on peut adapter notre équipe en fonction de l'adversaire: on affronte une équipe physique avec une rush défense, on prend Danty et Fickou au centre pour l'explosivité, on affronte une équipe mobile qui tape au pied, on prends des centres mobiles comme Vakatawa ou Vincent, on affronte une équipe qui a un bon lancement de jeu sur la touche on a des sauteurs a n'en plus finir avec Ollivon, Cretin, Woki, Macalou.
Notre vivier de joueurs est incroyablement diver

When they toured Australia earlier in the year, the Australian commentators were dreadfully ignorant of the French, providing no insight whatsoever into the tourists, despite them being the next world cup hosts. Regardless of the stat, it shows how good New Zealand is in this sport for them to be unbeaten for this long lmao.

This was brilliant, and I love this French team, but if only Woki had made the pass to Danty outside him then we would have another candidate for the "greatest try ever scored". To be fair to Woki, Danty didn't manage to keep pace with his acceleration (second row acceleration!) and fell off his shoulder a bit, so the pass wasn't clearly there...
what i find incredible, is the fact Dupont is there at the beginning against Barrett, then he is there when Ntamack gets the ball, and he is there again when Jaminet gives the ball ahaha. This guy....

Woki's decision was the best decision at that point, EVERYONE in the Universe (including my cat) was expecting him to pass to Danty, when he said to himself "Fuck it, i'll run in it in myself", the precise moment is 13:06 you can see how it threw off the AB'S and frankly everyone watching. UNPREDICTABILITY is very difficult to defend, The French are masters at that. From a Springbok for life, Maximum Respect.

Congrats to France, but it's a long way to win a World Cup, no doubts that it must be encouraging to beat the All Blacks like this, but the road ahead will be rocky and setbacks will be the learning curve in the next couple of years. Monsieur Dupont will have to learn 'the rules of engagement' his mistake from holding the ball at the ruck cost France a try, lucky that an intercept even up the score, apart from that it was a 'c'est manifique' performance that makes us love the great Rugby game even more. Je pense que Dupont connaît le règlement... mais il a eu un moment d'hésitation, et face aux Blacks cela ne pardonne pas. Et vous avez raison, la France nous a montré qu'elle avait le niveau pour être champion du monde, mais elle en est loin et avant cela il faudrait déjà qu'elle gagne le 6 nations. Mais aujourd'hui, l'effet psychologique de cette victoire sur le mental des joueurs n'est pas négligeable.

The World Cup is a particular event and it's only in 2023.
Many things can happen before it begins, positive or negative but not only for the French.
@@dommartin8814 I agree, and no doubt France won't be playing the World Cup without some respect for other nations, regardless of what happens before that... It seems to me that the tempo towards their goal, winning the World Cup, is going extremely well. A very young team, good coaching on different levels, a plethora of choices for different 'conditions' and a fantastic home support. A crucial couple years to come where there will be some soul-searching as well... en attendant 'allez les bleus' et Vive la France.

@@graffenwalker542 Yes, as soon as the ball is in his hand anyone can now challenge him, and this is what happened, losing the ball allowed the All Blacks to score a try... He was not penalized but rather of getting the benefit of a penalty against them, if they rush across the line of the ruck, once the ball is in his hands the opponents can now tackle him and the rest is history.

As a Frenchman, I have to give it to the commentators and their efforts to rightly pronounce the names from the French team, and this sweet « allez les bleus ». Terrific game.
As a proud New Zealander I'm always happy to see Aaron Smith and sundry other All Blacks throw their toys out the cot bawling because they got beaten by a better, more intelligent team.
