That's funny, I never saw someone locking themselves out of that room :3 But it's ok, no need to go back, I'm hoping you figured it out by now. And yeah, the Kendo cutscene was really good, it's entirely new to this remake and it's such a great addition, one of the best out of the whole game.
That scene with Kendo and his poor daughter was just sad🥺

Apparently Ada's look is an homage to the femme fatale archetype, used to describe her character since we dont know much about her atp. Still kinda silly but it was the 90s, so

You're starting to get into the B - movie schlock we know and love in the RE franchise. You just have to get used to the horror first. Once you finish RE2, you should definitely continue Leon's story with RE 4 as the campiness gets cranked to 10
