I’m sure you’ve done your seals but for future viewers looking for the answer to your question the inner diameter of the tube I used is 15.9 and the 4 cuts in the end are 6mm x 6mm

How did you get the spring out with a spring compression tool? Did releasing all the preload stop it from flying out when you popped the cap on it?
No compression tool just what you see in video..
