Thats why you need to scan every possible thing so you can find the resources you need to craft and iherd the all terrain tires are better then offroad, but i hooe you continue this series at some point just for fun, but for now thanks Gameriot forthis series

That was an interesting game. Good walkthrough.
Eh, I disagree with the comments saying this ending sucked.
The ending is essentially finding out that at the height of LIM technology development, they found the "Well" which is some sort of portal to either another planet/location/source of energy in the universe, or a portal to a different dimension entirely.
Here, the only thing we are shown is that the consciousness of people who died in the Zone are kept intact, and you can communicate with them.
Oppy finally gets closure for both her husband's death and what her invention of LIM technology birthed within the Zone. She can live out her final years (she's an old woman of course) outside the hellish Zone and die peacefully.
Tobias gives his life to help complete the last and biggest/most terrifying story of the Zone and appears to have at least been able to see what we saw, but I suspect he knows a LOT more about this "Well" and where it leads considering he got to speak with Dr Allen's consciousness and has become a part of whatever is on the other side of that Well.
And as for you and Francis? You get to continue to explore and chart the zone, using Oppy's final gifts to you - her knowledge, her ARC device with all limits removed, and most importantly, her garage - and providing Francis with company now that his best friend Tobias is dead, and Oppy is leaving.
Not only is that metal as fuck from a story perspective (you got zapped through as a delivery driver and turned into the only person who can traverse the Zone and its horrors all the way deep into the Deep Zone and live).
But from a gameplay perspective, it opens the door to future DLCs, or even a sequel in which we can find out what the hell is behind the Well, or if there's another massive LIM tech secret that ARDA covered up. Maybe ARDA was alerted to what happened in this last mission due to the massive amounts of energy emitted and decides to send in special teams to find and eliminate anyone alive still in the Zone after all the years it was shutoff and seemingly uninhabited.
Idk I think the story of this game is sick, sucks that Scott was so anxious all the time, I think if you took the time to flick through all the different menus and did a couple supply runs imbetween episodes you would've actually relaxed and figured out what you needed to do. Most of the key things you needed to do were actually explained by the characters, but you were too busy panicking about the car to hear what you had to do 😂. It's alright though Scotty, it was fucking hilarious watching you run after your car as you tried to fill her up!
