I flew the CX a340-600 from Los Angeles to Hong Kong three times. Not only was it spacious and comfortable for passengers, but it carried TWICE as much cargo as a Boeing 747! It was my favorite aircraft back when I was flying for business! They call the Boeing 757 the “flying pencil.” Compared to the a340-600, the B757 is a pencil stub! 😂
I was lucky to flight on it although they had me placed on 17 K while my brother got 17H. Mum had 17B while my baby brother got 17A these are in front of the engines
@@Starboard76 correct and remember CX need the range and cargo Capacity to make 8066 7014 nm non stop JFK-HKG both ways. Otherwise a technical stop in Anchorage happens just like the YYZ-HKG A340-300 flight when this was filmed
Loved this video and I actually flew on B-HQB on CX 831 JFK-HKG december 16 2005 night time take off 8 pm and last plane on the take off roll due to a technical problem instead of the 3 pm take off from JFK which connects to a an A330-342 or A330-343X CX 905 HKG-MNL at 9:55 pm HKG & MNL time arrival 11:55 pm HKG & MNL time 13 hr ahead of JFK during standard time but 12 hr ahead during daylight savings time. Keep these going Starboard. Seating wise 17 H &K should be avoided due to it being in front of the engines
