S3XY buttons r the bomb. I think FCN is laggy with their clerical work. Prob see it pop in in a few weeks. Cool site visit. Thx for the video. I enjoyed watching. Rant had me in tears laughing. unicorn lol lol lolllll🦄
@@newscoulomb3705 It lasted a week. I'm guessing somebody stretched it out to the full length, and then the mechanism just never rewound. it is stuck at the very end.
Too be fair, if this charger was functioning properly, it would be a "120 kW" unit. It's clearly not outputting its 300 A placard rating when a single plug is in use, and that could be due to a faulty module, bad power feed, nonfunctioning bridge, etc. I'd keep an eye on it to see whether they fix it in the future.
50 kw is completely normal for a Francis site. I don’t think I have ever gotten more than 50 kw on any Francis site I have been to. It looks like they bought some used Blink dispenser, probably one that Blink had junked, and slapped their name on it. Typical Francis. How they got all that NEVI funding I will never know, based on their dismal track record here in Oklahoma. Just sad
I was about to comment about S3XY Buttons commander. I specifically bought my commander for this feature. The other features are just icing on the cake. Every time I hear Francis I cringe. As soon as I saw Blink I knew it was 50kw. All the Blinks I run into are 50kw. When you are in an EV desert these 50kw DCFC are a godsend, but man does it suck if you're trying to get somewhere in a reasonable amount of time.
@@Longsnowsm Manual preconditioning is nice, but that's not the main reason I got the commander. I had to have it for that automatic autopilot resume after changing lanes. I couldn't live without that!
@@Crazypostman That was what I originally bought it for. I bought my M3 used and didn't know that it appears the previous owner purchased Enhanced AP. When I turn on the turn signal with AP engaged it does the lane changes for me. I however have not seen it to the navigate stuff that was supposed to be part of enhanced AP so I am a little baffled by which features it can and can't do. I need to spend some more time experimenting with it. AP and I aren't on speaking terms right now after it keeps putting me in AP jail on road trips. I am a bit fed up with it at the moment. LOL
@@prwilson101 I haven't encountered anybody openly hostile. Usually people think the cars are cool and want to check them out, but the usual comment is, they'll keep their gas car. Most people just don't understand that you'll rarely need supercharging. And that's where the regular people get it wrong. They think they'll be sitting at superchargers for two hours, five days a week.
State of Oklahoma will definitely nail you on 'EV road taxes' on your yearly tag fees. Think my Model Y cost an extra $150 on my tags. I get it, they need road taxes, but I only drive about 5K miles a year so I'm paying way more road taxes than I would by purchasing gas for a combustion vehicle.
@@mowcowbell I'm not sure the alternatives are any better. It's either a flat tax added to the EVs or maybe another way would be per mile. But then is that self-reported or put a tracker in your car? Maybe they could add a 10 cent per kilowatt hour tax to fast charger stations?
❤ Woofy postman! ❤. Thanks for sharing. Hugs! ❤

Great editing. Nice shout out to Walter. I watch Walter's videos too.
That cable management is... something. I think the cable might be too heavy for the retention cable.

Land of 50kW Frankenchargers indeed... keep keeping 'em honest!😂
I need to get the SEXY buttons. Typical Francis disappointment. Thanks CP & Duck. Oh and also Editor CP. 😅
Your battery temps seem high on the sexy buttons, but good to know.
World Premiere!! I can see Duck. Hi Duck. Cool about the Sexy Buttons.

@@newscoulomb3705 i try to file a complaint on this Francis app, and it doesn't work. They literally won't let you send a report in.
Are those temps good values for your batteries?
@@bikeny Anything under 60C is not going to hurt the battery pack.
Didn't happen to notice, but would that charger be available when the dealer is closed? Behind their gates?
@@mowcowbell No gates, 24-hour access.

Can I get some S3XY buttons for my Bolt EV? By the way, I, too, had the privilege of using a 120 A charger this last week. 😀
Hyundai dealership probably just want to charge their Hyundai's for sale.
My Ioniq6 Jiselle would get 80kw. Yes, deceptive. I'm sorry.
What is the EV take-up like in "deepest red" Oklahoma? Is there lots of misinformation/propaganda about EVs?

North Carolina charges $180 per EV for road tax yearly.
